What are some fun things to do at Denver, that are unique to that area?|183340

We are taking some teenagers to denver and want to know the best things to do their that are unique to Denver.

The Celestial Seasonings tea factory is in Boulder, about an hour west of Denver. The tour is very good. Hammond_s candies is another tour that might be fun. The Molly Brown house museum is in Denver. You may want to check with the visitor_s bureau and see if they have any better ideas.

Go to Pearl Street in Boulder. It_s a pedestrian street with window shopping and street performers. It_s really pretty cool. Make sure you stick together though...

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science was always fun when my school went. They have an imax theater, a health evaluation exhibit, and other random stuff that_s pretty entertaining.

If you have the opportunity, go skiing/snowboarding of course.

If your group of teenagers likes skateboarding or skating there is a nice skatepark at the Colorado Mills mall. Woodward Skatepark.

There is a United States Mint in Denver. That can be fun.

Althought it only happens once a year, Denver is home to _sport stacking_ You may have heard of it, may not have. Once a year, they hold the world sportstacking championchips, in the Colisum. I_ve been to it twice, and it_s great fun. You might want to check that out sometime.

Well if you are looking for a cool restaurant you should go to Casa Bonita. It is a mexican restaurant and its awesome! They have cliff divers and fire throwers. They also have like this dark cave thing that you can walk through and lots of different cool rooms. It is a huge place!

Take a walk along the 16th street mall. That is a lot of fun.
