Is the vancouver or pullman campus better of washington state university?|161564

Im am planning to attend washington state university for engineering. being in a large city doesn_t bother me. i am waiting for more info from wsu but which campus is better, and why? thank you for any help.

  • Sorry you missed your mark by about 3000 miles. This is Travel Washington, DC. Washington State is West Coast and we are East Coast.

  • First, you should know that I have not attended WSU or any of the branch campuses that they offer. Geographically speaking, Vancouver is on the west side near Portland while Pullman is on the far east side, somewhat near to Spokane. I_m not sure, but I assume that courses at either location have to adhere to the same requirements. Another thing to take into consideration is that the home sporting events are in Pullman. Several friends of mine have attended WSU Tri-Cities. From what I_ve heard. TC has a pretty good correlation between the university and companies that give you on-hands experience such as Battelle, Bechtel, and Flour. I hope that I helped. Best wishes as you go to college!
  • Where are the best places to take a tourist in Portland Oregon?|100517

I know less about my own city than I should. I met a girl from argentina and I want to show her around. Any suggestions?

  • Take her to the portland zoo..its HUGE! you could basically spend all day there...or if you_re around salem the enchanted forrest is really fun- its about 45 mins or less from portland. I also heard the underground tunnels are really cool.If she likes to shop take her to the lloyd center...the mall has 3 stories full of shops. Depending on what day you come you could always see a show at the rose garden.

  • Pittock Mansion has awesome views, Saturday Market by the river is fun, Lloyd Center with the skating rink is nice, NW 23rd is funky, Mount Tabor is very scenic, Lake Oswego is quaint, Pioneer Square usually has something going on. I used to live in Portland and loved it there !

  • Go to the Columbia River Gorge and see Multnomah Falls. They are very scenic and lovely.

The Portland Japanese Garden is beautiful. Visit the Portland Zoo. Take a sightseeing cruise or a jet boat tour. Both are great fun.
  • What are some suggestions for what to wear while traveling to Big Bear, CA?|185351

Every time I have been to Big Bear, it was winter and cold. It is summer now and my boyfriend and I are going to visit Big Bear in two days. I_ve never been without my short dresses and high heel platform shoes! I want to wear something fashionable, yet kind of warm, in case it was cold during the weekend.
We are probably staying at the cabin most the time. Anyone has any suggestions?

  • In Big Bear I certainly wouldn_t recommend dressing like a sheep!!

Seriously it will be around 70 there during the day and it still get_s pretty darn cold there at night. It_s probably going to be near freezing at night. So I would take _early_ spring kind of clothes and be prepared just in case it warms up a little more during the day.
Have fun - what a great place to go for a weekend! It_s beautiful there!

  • Use a website to see what the weather will be like before you leave
  • Where is a good place within about an hour of Cincinnati to canoe and camp WITH bathrooms?|176943

I am looking for a place to go canoeing, preferably with the campground along the water. I would like a nice campground area with clean bathrooms and showers. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks!

  • Hi, I would recommend the Little Miami River to you, in the Morrow/Lebanon area. Specifically- Morgans Canoe livery. They have a nice campground with clean bathrooms and showers. In addition to their location there, to do have a second one over at Brookville Lake. But the Little Miami canoe trip is a nice one, and while I can vouch for their campground there, Ive never seen the one at Brookville Lake. Here is a link to their website.

  • My friends and family always go to Brookville Indiana, its about 45-60 minutes outside of Cincinnati. It_s a ton of fun! Check out this website and see if it helps at all. http://www.whitewatercanoerental.com/

  • winton woods is under construction putting in modern cabins
the little miami is great to go canoeing
