How much would a Disney world vacation cost for 7 people?|142289

Well i want to go to Disney world because i finished high school. And i want to know how much would it cost for 7 people to go and stay for 5 days the ages are 53,50,22,19,16,14,10 and is it cheaper to go by plane or car???oh and how much are the tickets to go to all 4 parks?

  • Lodging is going to be a bare minimum of $50 a night per room. You_ll need two rooms so figure $100-150 a night for lodging.

5 day park hopper passes are $43 per day for anyone 10 and over. Those are only good for Disney parks so Universal/Sea World/Islands of Adventure are all going to be seperate.

With these numbers I_d say you are looking at $2000 or so.

To make your trip cheaper, look into weekly stay lodging. Consider only going to maybe 1 or 2 parks instead of all of them...there are lots of parks in Orlando. Take a day to drive to the beach(free!).

Do your research online and book ahead! Hit the parks up on weekdays so they_ll be less crowded. Find hotels with shuttles to the parks..Disney has a very good transportation system once you get on their property. Take advantage of the free sites at Disney like the Boardwalk and Downtown Disney...you can walk around all you want for free(great night time activity) you just pay for certain areas(Pleasure Island, DisneyQuest, AMC 24, etc.)

  • Well... I can_t answer that because I don_t have the information of where you live in the U.S.A and I couldn_t possibly ask that because it would be way too much info! But! I know where you can figure it out! Go to:

And I_m sure this will be able to answer all your questions! :) I hope I helped! Oh, and, have fun fun fun in Disney World!!!!

  • With 7 people I would definitely consider renting a condo or staying at a villa type of resort.

You can check out condos at www.allstarvacationrentals.com

They have different prices depending on what kind of house you want to stay in. Obviously, the more luxurious the house the more expensive.

You can also check out villas. Disney has some villas but they are very expensive. I would check out Sheraton_s Vistana in Orlando. They have 2 bedroom villas that fit 8 people.

If you go at an off time of the year you can probably stay in a Disney Value resort for a resonable price. You can get 2 rooms and get them connecting (not adjoining!). Connecting means that there is a door in between the two rooms, while adjoining just means the are next door to each other. By staying at a WDW hotel you can get picked up and then dropped off at the airport for free by Disney_s Magical Express and you can also use their transportation. This means if you fly you do not need to rent a car!

Disney has now made it cheaper to stay for 7 nights instead of 5. Staying for 7 nights would only mean about $4 more per ticket and then the cost of your hotel. Not a bad deal and you don_t have to squeeze everything in 5 days.

You can check out www.mousesavers.com for ways you can save on your WDW vacation. She shows when codes are available and other ways to save on your vacation.

I would also check out www.allearsnet.com to check out the different hotels on Disney property as well as the Sheraton Vistana and All Star Vacation Homes. She sometimes offers deals as well.

www.mousepad.com has a great forum where you can ask all your disney questions and see what others have asked to help plan a great vacation! You_ll find me on there!

Whether you should go by plane or car it depends on if you would have to take 2 cars or 1 and how far you are. Check out airline prices.

If you are trying to convince your parents figure out an estimate and go to the disneyworld website to order the vacation planning video. Show them the video and show them the prices you came up with and see what they say!

    Good Luck!

  • If you visit

you can go through and check different resorts, ticket options, and get a quote on how much it would cost. You can compare the different resorts and find the best fit for you and your family. You may want to consider one of the Disney Vacation Club sites if you all want to stay together. When members aren_t using the rooms, anybody can reserve one.

  • I can_t answer that! But, I can tell you not Cheap!

  • I suggest checking out the vacation forums that can give you better information!

  • Where can I find a Romantic Resort in Florida?|117436

My Fiance_ and I are getting married in 4 months and we are looking for a romantic resort in Florida for our honeymoon. We would like to be in walking distance to the beach. Any suggestions?

  • Try this spot on Anna Maria Island.

  • Amelia Island Plantation! Definitely!
  • What are good and affordable places to shop at in New York?|157186

My cousin and I are going to New York for July 4th. And I_ve been trying to find some cool and affordable places to shop. I_m looking for a prom dress (evening gown style) aswell. So If you know any prom dress shops please let me know!

  • Just for fun, I would go to Chinatown, that_s the Canal St. stop on the N R lines.
For a prom dress...if it is still open, you may find a formal gown on this store on 6th ave. by 56th-58th st. (west side of st.) It_s a nameless, constantly _going out of business store._ You would find something unique and glamorous, probably with rhinestones there.

  • H_M
    Century 21
    Forever 21
    Top Shop
    Macy_s

But check out department stores like Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Henri Bendel...they might have some big 4th of July sales.

  • SoHo . Dont 4get to go to GROM after that !

  • What is the best state to travel to in the US?|140448

My boyfriend and I are gonna ge taking a road trip by the end of the month. What do you think is the most exciting state to go to? I want to do a lot of sight seeing. BTW we live in NJ.

  • My favourite is Vermont. If you travel Vermont, you can do side trips into several other New England States, at the same time.

  • My favorite state in which to travel is California. California has everything you could want all in one state. CA has mountains, deserts, big cities, small towns, beaches, the Pacific Ocean, snow, rain, sun, sunbathing, skiing, surfing, and so much more.

Some _must see_ places in CA are:

San Francisco. The Bay area (and Monterey) are my favorites. When in San Francisco, visit the crookedest street in the world, Lombard St. (drive down it because it_s plenty of fun), ride a cable car, Chinatown (visit the Fortune Cookie Factory), Alcatraz, Fisherman_s Wharf, Muir Woods (north of S.F. for nature), Coit Tower (head to the observation deck for a beautiful view of the city), San Francisco Zoo, Cable Car Museum, and Golden Gate Park (de Young Museum, Buffalo Paddock, and S.F. Botanical Gardens).

Monterey: Visit the Monterey Bay Aquarium (it_s one of the best in the country), also take the scenic 17-mile drive in nearby Pebble Beach (it_s spectacular).

San Simeon: Visit Hearst Castle. They have plenty of tours to choose from and they_re all excellent. It_s a lovely place and the scenery is outstanding (the drive from Monterey on Highway 1 is like heaven on earth).

Los Angeles: Hollywood is a very interesting place. Visit Mann_s Chinese Theatre, Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood Wax Museum, Walk of Fame, and Sunset Strip. You_ll get plenty of excitement in Hollywood. Also visit Griffith Park in L.A. in the evening for some star watching (the stars in the sky) at the observatory. You_ll get a beautiful view of L.A.

Catalina Island: Great place for a day trip out of Long Beach. Plenty of watersports (snorkling, parasailing), plus you can see free-roaming buffalo on the _Inland Island Tour_ and go on a _Glass Bottom Boat Tour._ Catalina island is plenty of fun.

Yosemite National Park: This is my favorite national park in the country. Yosemite is very scenic any time of year (I_ve been there all four seasons and the winter was great). You can see El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, Half Dome, and so much more. They have free shuttle buses in the park that will take you wherever you want to go. They also have plenty of tours offered within the park which are worth taking. You_ll see and learn a great deal on these tours. The wildlife viewing is also excellent there.

Palm Springs: Take the Aerial Tram to the top and see the San Jacinto Mountains. It_s much colder at the top, so dress warm. You_ll see snow at the top this time of year. Palm Springs also has plenty of golf, casinos, and excellent nightlife. You_ll also want to visit Joshua Tree National Park and Indian Canyons. They are both very scenic. Indian Canyons have gigantic palm tress you must see.

    Have fun in CA!

  • I live in Pittsburgh, there_s a lot to see in our corner of the country. You can see Washington DC, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania_s Amish Country, Wonderful Pittsburgh, Niagara Falls, New York_s Finger Lakes, New York City and back to Jersey. Everything I mentioned is less than 4 hours from the thing mentioned before it.

  • A lot depends on how far you can go, how much you can spend, and the types of things that interest you. Some of my favorite places that I_ve visited: Dry Tortugas National Park (FL), Mammoth Caves (KY), Cass Scenic Railroad (WV), Gettysburg (PA), Golden Spike NHS (UT), Yellowstone _ Grand Teton NP (WY), Seattle, Washington DC,.......

My oldest son and I are going to South Dakota for a long weekend in April and I can_t wait, cause I_ve never been there before! Anyplace new is exciting!

  • its all subjective. i like montana. someone else may like florida. another may like michigan. it all depends on what you are interested in doing.
  • Is Maryland a good state to live in with good job opportunities?|125762

Im currently going for my lpn (license practical nurse ) my man and i would like to get married and move out of NY. we want to move in a state thats affordable and well maintain. my man by the way is a manager at best buy. we want to buy a house not rent.

  • If you are going to move to Maryland, then move to the Baltimore or Annapolis areas. They have the most jobs and a more pay then some other areas of Maryland. Northwestern Maryland is also nice if you don_t mind the mountains. The Eastern shore area is cheap to live in, but less pay and less jobs.
  • How long does it take to get from Nashville to Memphis?|130899

I ordered a cell phone in the mail and it will be coming from Memphis to Nashville, so I was wondering how long of a drive it would be? I just looked at the fedex tracking website and it just now got on the delivery truck, so yeahh.

  • 3 hrs 14 min.

I wouldn_t expect the phone that fast as the driver will have many stops along the way:

    http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m_lat=35.6613

  • If you are going slow it takes a while but less time if you are going fast.

  • 3 hours

  • 3.5 hours
