Whats the most practical way for me to get from Anaheim to Hollywood?|154582

I_m going into California for three days to attend two different concerts, one in Anaheim and one in Hollywood. Getting to California and getting back home isn_t a problem, I already have a ride both ways, but it_s going between Anaheim and Hollywood that_s presenting a problem. Is there a bus line that I can take, or maybe a chartered shuttle?

  • There is MTA bus #460 connect Anaheim( Disneyland) to Downtown LA 7th/Metro center, runs every 20 min, and riding duration 1 1/2 hr. Fare $1.25

From 7th/Metro, you can take Redline rail( runs every 15min, and duration 20 min) to Hollywood/Highland(Kodak theater) Fare $1.25

  • _Tom C_ is basically correct, however the time your concerts end could become a problem. If they end in the late evening the public transportation system may not offer any, or only very limited service to the area you need to travel to.

you can get much information in this website, kindly stay a minute in website and check anyone link at a time

  • I would definitely rent a car. As Peedlepup said, getting stuck in Hollywood after the Red Line closes would be a real drag.
  • What is the best church in the North KC area?|151320

I have no social life and want to make friends and someone said church was a great place to do that. What churches are heaps of fun and have lots going on?

  • Plesant Valley Babtist church if you want lots of fun. during every sermon they have you stand up and shake someones hand. its a lot of fun.

  • Amazing Grace Baptist Church, 2324 S 9th, Box 3131, Kansas City, KS 66103.

    Pastor Sam Olivas]
The best people in the world. I_ve gone there twice to visit my Best friend and they treated me like gold. They are like a big family without all the drama. Pastor Olivas really cares, he_s a fun guy to be around. They have lots going on for young and old. They are very diversified. Ask for Jessica, she_s the best person I_ve ever known. I_m not sure if this is the area you are looking for but I live in Maine and if I could I would drive there every week to be involved in such a great church.

  • I don_t know if this is too far north--but Platte Woods United Methodist church is an awesome place. I know the minister and his wife--Steve and Cindy Breon. They have a great singles ministry--give them a try.

  • Pine Ridge Presbyterian across from Zona Rosa would be a good church to try. I think they have a website, too.

  • I heard that Pleasant Valley Baptist in Liberty is kind of cool.

  • what religion
  • What are some of the major streets and intersections of Long Beach?|193160

I_m doing a paper and need to know some of the major streets and intersections of Long Beach.

  • PCH
    Long Beach Blvd
    7th Street
    Los Coyotes Diagonal
    Cherry
    Orange
    Atlantic Ave

    Carson St
    Spring St
    Stearns
    Atherton
    Clark

    Santa Fe
    Ocean Blvd
    Broadway

If you go to Long Beach Transits website you can see a scaled down map of Long Beach and see the layout of the city or look on Mapquest or Yahoo maps...

  • Is there a specific reason why you can_t get this information by simply looking up a map of Long Beach? You are sitting at your computer, after all.

  • the PCH cirlce (lots of streets there!

  • Los Coyote Triangle, PCH (Pacific Coast Hwy), Lakewood Bl, Long Beach Bl.....Go to Yahoo_s home page and click on maps and put in Long Beach, CA

  • There are a lot of bigs streets in Long Beach, since Long Beach is a big city. But here are a few just to get you started (I hope you mean Long Beach, Ca): Pacific Coast Highway (also known as PCH), 7th Street, Ocean Blvd, Bellflower Blvd, Long Beach Blvd.
  • What is a better mountain to go snowboarding, and also just to hang out? Breckenridge or Aspen?|188693

Also if you know of any other good ones in CO, and UT can you let me know please?

  • If money is not a factor, Aspen is a great choice. Aspen has great skiing options for any level. Plus, Aspen is unique compared to other ski towns in CO because it actually has a 5,000 person year round local population. Therefore it has more character than the other ski towns which are basically cheesy tourist traps. Plus, I_m in my 20s and the nightlife in Aspen is superior to other ski towns. I always have a great time when I go out there.

The skiing sucks at Breckenridge and the town is basically Disney World on ice. Only go there if you_re on a budget.

Steamboat, Telluride and Crested Butte are all quality places to ski with towns that have character. Vail and Copper have good skiing, but the towns feels artificial.

  • I_ve never been to Aspen but I learned to snowboard at Breckenridge. I didn_t think it was that bad and I went during the end of the season. I don_t know that Breckenridge is really that great of a place to hang out just to hang out but I_ve always regarded Aspen as being really snooty.

  • Aspen has four mountains to snowboard on. This will give you choices but you will not get bored if you pick one mountain and stick to it for several days. The town of Aspen is pretty big with many choices of restaurants, clubs and stores. The night life is rockin during winter or summer season.

  • Havent been to aspen, but Breck sucks. Too many flat spots. I ended up walking a lot. Breck is close to Denver though.

I hit Utah this winter for the first time. WAAAAY better then CO! The snow is fantastic, resorts are close to airport, snow is drier, everything is close! Hills are less crowded too. And the runs are overall more challenging.
  • What is the difference between a northern Ohio and a California accent?|175693

Please give some examples (some words both pronounce differently, or some terminology) to illustrate the difference. As I understand it, Drew Carey has the perfect Ohio accent; and a lot of northern Californians have the perfect Californian accent. But to my ear (of a native of NJ), I do not notice ANYTHING different between the accents. They both sound like the standard American accent.

  • Soda vs pop. Other than that, not too much. Or maybe I_m not aware of it coming from NJ as well.
  • Can I stick a stamp on the back of a card and mail it like a regular postcard?|188295

If the back is blank, so I can address it?

  • Yes, but put a 41 cent stamp on it, not a postcard stamp.

  • yes
