How can i send something to america in the mail from the uk?|197693

I mean in the mail like i have the street, state and zip code, do i write USA on it? Also is mailing a small package from northern ireland to america expensive?

  • You put street, town, state, zip code, country. Speak to the post office about postage as it depends on size, weight, and whether yu wish to send by air mail.

  • Try taking it to the Post Office.

  • You put on the address with USA as part of the address (so they know which country to send it to). Then go to the post office and say i want to send this small parcel to America.

price will depend how small and how heavy plus how quickly you want to send it. You can send it by sea quite cheaply but it will take a long time, or you can send it by plane which is obviously more expensive but only takes a week or so.

  • put the address on and then take it to the post office and to be honest I would put USA IN FAIRLY LARGE LETTERS

  • If u send it for postmail is cheaper 10us by 1 kg and it will arrive in 2 weeks, but u can send it by
Federal express or DHL, the cost more or less 80us for 1 Kg., and will arrive in 4 days.

  • Yes, write USA, cost will depend on size and whether air or sea mail.

  • Noo its cheap After the zip code you must write S-E-M-T-E-X
to make sure it arrives safley
  • Places of interest in the Northern US states?|123183

I am in the very early stages of planning a road trip to Canada/Alaska and then I would love to see Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana etc. What are the areas/places that an Australian would be interested to see and could anyone recommend an itinerary or a website with possible itineraries. We have been to LA, Las Vegas and The Grand Canyon (which we absolutely loved) on a previous trip.

Also what times of the year would be best?
    Thanks for your time.

  • Crater Lake in Oregon is totally cool to see. And the Columbia River Gorge that runs right in between Washington and Oregon is gorgeous. Multnomah Falls is in the Gorge, it is the tallest waterfall in the US at 620 feet. Visit this web site to find out more...

and here is a site for the Gorge...

This one is for Mt. Hood...

    And Crater Lake...

While you are there you can Visit Mount Hood, the tallest mountain in Oregon. And in Washington you can see Mount Saint Helens. That is cool too.

I am from Washington, If you want more ideas e-mail me and I would be happy to help.

  • Malibu mentioned some great places. (I_ve been to them all!) Don_t forget Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota. Not sure how far east you_d go, but the area between the upper and lower peninsula of Michigan is awesome, with the Soo Locks nearby and Mackinac Island.
Best time of year would be our summer (your winter). Winters are harsh, cold and very snowy.

  • Niagara Falls in Canada and Buffalo NY

  • In Idaho during the summer months you can go on a awesome horse back ride at Sweitzer resort. It is in the town of Sandpoint, just a hour or so from Canada.

  • Hands down you should try some of these road trips here:

  • What is a fun hotel to stay at in Vegas for a Bachelorette party?|108204

A group of my girlfriends and I want to go to Vegas in Feb. for a bachelorette party, but we do not know where to stay. We want to go to a few shows too...suggestions?

  • There are a couple of LV shows that would be perfect for the occasion.

    Chippendales - Rio
    1-702-777-7776

Thunder From Down Under - Excalibur
    1-702-597-7600

This is a lesser know show for the ladies
    American Storm - Riviera
    1-702-794-9433

Any of these hotels would be a good choice for your group
    Rio _ or Palms - Party/Nightclub scene
Paris or Mirage - Great location in the center of the strip
MGM - Luxor - Great location, South strip.

If you would like to have a nice set up for your Bachelorette party. The Stratosphere offers an adjoining suite/room set up.
I prefer the Grand Suite by a slight margin over the Casino or Executive suite.

The Stratosphere is also _generally_ the best value hotel on the strip. The location is the reason, most people don_t like the North end of the strip location.

  • i recommend the monte carlo hotel and casino. the rooms are rather nice and not very expensive. and the casino is practically located in the center of the strip so easy access to alot of places!

  • The Palms hotel would be a great hotel to stay at for the occasion. But I wanted to recommend Anthony Cool_s show at the Paris. It is hilarious!!! He_s an _R_ rated hypnotist. Check out the Paris hotel website or google Anthony Cools. You can also search him on Youtube to see some clips. A must do for a bachelorette party. Oh and definitely have the barchelorette volunteer to be hypnotised. A memory that will last a lifetime. Or at least of one the girlfriends go on stage for everyone_s enjoyment. Highly recommended!!
  • What are the florida keys like for young adults?|198174

I am wondering what kind of atmosphere the keys are as far as partying and drinking and bars etc... Anyone from there?

  • I_ve never been but i have friends that have went. They say that its a good place to go if you are a couple. Its not a good place for friends to go there and hang out at.

  • Been there once, and except for Key West, the keys are pretty quiet.
Key West was TOO wild IMO. I thought the clubs were a little dangerous, and dirty...as in filthy.
