Which is the best place to see fall season around NJ ?|156542

I am planning to take my parents to see this year_s beautiful fall season. We wanted to see the nature where trees change their leaves color to yellow / Maroon.

I need to see this nature change and cherish them with beautiful pictures as well.

I heard if we take I-287 north we get to see this places ? Any other locations ? even if it is 2-3 hours from bergen county, NJ is fine.

Let me know.

  • If you are willing to drive 2-3 hours, take them for a drive along the Potomac River, or you can go to New Hope on the Pensylvania side of the Deleware. That area is really pretty. OR, even better, take them to Lancaster, PA to the Amish Country.. NOW THAT IS THE VERY VERY VERY BEST!

I am from Southern NJ and know all the good spots.

  • delaware water gap ..................

    A River and its Valley

For 40 miles the Middle Delaware River passes between low forested mountains with barely a house in sight. Then the river cuts through the mountain ridge to form the famed _Water Gap._ Exiting the park, the river will run 200 miles more to Delaware Bay and the Atlantic Ocean at Wilmington, Delaware.

There_s still more to do; this valley has been a home for thousands of years, and dozens of historic structures dot the park_s scenic byways. Step back to the year 1900 at Millbrook Village (left), open weekends in summer. In October, a hundred volunteer _villagers_ bring the place alive for Millbrook Days.

  • Right now.
  • Where is the best place to live for a young family temporarily moving to Atlanta?|140683

We are a Canadian couple with an infant son and will be required to rent as we will only in the U.S. for three years.

  • I_d pick north Fulton county. I have friends that live around there. It_s one of the nicer parts of ATL.
  • What are the best places/states to visit in the USA?|151593

I am planning a trip to the USA and want to experience the best it has to offer.

  • Plan a very long trip because there are so many places. Depends greatly on whether you want to see the land for historical value or scenic beauty. New York is always a prime destination and Philadelphia as well as Washington DC where you can see many museums and sights. Chicago also has much to see. Tennessee and Alabama have beautiful country in the South and then the Dakotas on to the Grand Canyon out west then to California and the Redwood Forest provides beautiful scenery. Most every state has unique features that you could make a trip out of seeing. Google the States you think you might like to see, contact AAA if you are a member and get information. Write, email, to each state you might like to visit and get a book on their state and state_s features sent to you. If you want entertainment then don_t forget to check out Disney World and the places in Orlando, FL and then New Orleans, LA and the French Quarter. Memphis, Tennessee and Branson Missouri and the many shows that it has. Like I said figure out what you are wanting to see .. History, Scenic beauty, entertainment etc and then start from there.

  • Definitely go to Washington DC. Threes so much to see.
If you didn_t do the grand canyon when you were in Las Vegas, then its well worth a re-visit to do a helicopter tour of the strip and the canyon, the views are breathtaking.

Florida is also a must, whether you choose Disney, or venture further south to the florida keys, it will be well worth it.

  • Black Hills of South Dakota. It_s the US mini Switzerland!

  • How about Lancaster, Penns.? There is a great deal of sights. There are outlets, farmlands, Amish tours, Herrs chips tour, model trains in Strassberg.
New Hope Penns. has a mule barge ride and quaint stores.

  • florida is a very pretty place to have a vacation!

  • Acadia National Park in Maine. You can stay in Bar Harbor.
    Las Vegas Nevada
    New York City
    Hawaii
    The Outer Banks

  • It realy depends on what your looking for as entertainment . I live in Saint Louis Missouri in the central usa . There are great places to visit throughout the country . I would be glad to help if i had some idea of what your looking for and how long you have to visit thanks , Patrick .

  • Mount Rushmore, Mississippi River, Grand Canyon

  • Seattle - Washington state.

  • mall of america!

  • we holiday in the states every year, this year we did vegas, los angeles and new york. los angeles is a great city, hollywood, beverley hills, great beaches, something for everyone. alot of americans in the LA area recommended san diego as a great place to visit, we didnt get chnce this year but we will do in the future. Florida is fantastic, disney is great, so is miami, i love south beach. new york is a must do city, just so much going on, i wouldnt stay there for too long tho because its all such a fast pace there, central park is a great refuge . my next trip is going to be in the kissimmee area of florida so that we can combine the theme parks with some drives out to the beach at clearwater.

  • Disney on the East coast and The Vegas Strip. The US East coast is fast like JHB, and the US West coast is like the South coast-reverse gear.
