How far of a drive is it from Pittsburgh,PA to Greensburg? What is a good place to live in between the two?|173923

My boyfriend and I are moving to the Pittsburgh area. I will be working in Pittsburgh, and he will be working in Greensburg. Where is a cool place to live in between the two? Is Greensburg considered far away? We were hoping he would be closer, but maybe this won_t be so bad??? Any other advice for anyone just moving to Pittsburgh? I live in Ohio now. THANKS!

  • Well, welcome to friendly, home-town southwestern PA!!
Greensburg is about 45 minutes to an hour (average) from Pittsburgh. But it depends on where in the city you will be working...because of bridges and tunnels you have to cross, which add time at rush hour!!
Good places to live would be in Greensburg, or in Irwin, or North Huntingdon Township, or Murrysville... or in Allegheny County, you could live in Monroeville, Penn Hills, Wilkins Township...
This area has such good housing values and so many friendly small towns, you_ll love it!!
  • What kinds of activities are recommended for the state of New Hampshire?|159425

I_m looking for activities that are best for New Hampshire, such as certain yearly activites or events, and the year that those activites/events started.

  • Winter/spring is skiing and snowboarding. Summer boating, hiking, swimming, fall is hiking to see the colors and fairs. Motorcycle weekend is always the third weekend in June. There is also NH International Speedway in Loudon that has Nascar racing spring thru early fall. Google State of NH and go to the tourist info page.

  • I dont know about events but I recently went camping in newhampshire and it was fun! I thik the capgrounds website is www.campwoodmoore.com
