Is there anything exciting to do in arkansas besides museums? what about activities for kids?|100563

Im planning on moving to arkansas from california in a couple of months and I cant fing anything interesting to do there besides museums(which I dont like) and a few parks!!!! All i could find was a water park and a zoo which had horrible ratings. I have a two year old daughter, what does arkansas have to offer as for as excitment for children?

Gentry, AR has a drive-thru safari that I have been to a few times. Some of the animals are too wild to feed but one thing that Gentry has that most other places do not is that they have wild animals that you can pet. Sometimes it is baby bears, sometimes baby tigers, it just depends on what they have out. It is called Wild Wilderness Safari.
Then there is Cosmic Cavern in Berryville; Felsenthal National Wildlife Refuge in Crossett; Botanical Gardens of the Ozarks in Fayetteville;
an elephant sactuary in Greenbrier; their is a riverboat in Hot Springs and North Little Rock; Little Rock and Hackett both have a zoo; and there is the Arkansas _ Missouri Railroad that has stops in Springdale, Van Buren, Fort Smith, and Winslow.

Take the N31 or N32 from Hewlett to Hempstead .Transfer to any of about 5 buses that go to Roosevelt Field
The Hewlett buses start in Far Rockaway and one goes up Bwy _ the other goes up W.Bwy

I don_t want to go when it is real hot (like now) . Is October or November good? I have never been and have been wanting to go for a long time.

don_t go around any holiday because its always extra packed with people if you can go during the week. I went in early May, it was the perfect tempeature and was beautiful because the flowers were just starting and everything was ready for the summer season

Love going there. Best in Sept or Oct after the really hot season and before it gets really cold.

We went in July a couple years ago. The weather was beautiful - low to mid 80_s with no humidity and plenty of sunshine. Some mornings were even chilly. (Be sure to stay on the Canadian side and walk over to the United States!) Niagara Falls is breathtaking, but it has a lot cheesy touristy things around it. The cheesy touristy things are fun though! I think October would be a wonderful time to go. The fall foliage should probably peak the first part of October. Just take some warm clothes, buy a bus pass and visit all the attractions, and you will enjoy one the wonders of the world!

My gf and I have this on-going joke about getting married in Las Vegas. Is it possible to go through the ceremony at the chapels without it being legally binding?

Not legal. You must show your marriage license or marriage certificate (for remarriage) in order for licensed person to perform ceremony.

Puzzling question. If it_s only the two of you, then you are both in on the joke, If you are trying to get wedding photos to fake your friends I imagine you could get it done, but I think most chapels would be nervous that they are going to get their name on a public scam.

Sure just pay them the money but dont have them sign the marriage license. Tell them you are already married and want to get remarried.
