Where is the best place to go or shop in Gatlinburg, Tennessee?|161630

Just planning a trip and want to know the hottest tourist spots.

  • Well, they have a lot of cute little touristy stores in the _downtown_ area. But, Pigeon Forge has good shopping, too. Also in Sevierville is a really big shopping center. It_s about a 20-30 minute drive from Gatlinburg.

I usually just look up gatlinburg attractions in the search engine to find all of the attractions. I have been there a few times before, but there are a lot of things to do. Most things are centrally located along the Parkway. There are also things to do in Pigeon Forge which is a short drive away. In the mountains there is Ober Gatlinburg which has a lot of neat stuff to do including ice skating and they are adding snowboarding this winter. Look here

  • you gotta check out the village and eat at the pancake pantry! gatlinburg rox! o, and u might want to play put-put at blacklight golf (same strip as well, everything really.) enjoy your trip, and hang at the aquarium
  • How far would you go to help bring gas prices down even more?|184830

I_m interested in starting an Internet campaign asking people to limit (or even halt) any holiday travel this year in an effort to bring down oil prices and gas prices even more. Would you be willing to do something like this? Any other suggestions on an organized effort to limit consumption?

  • I have already tried to enlist in the Army but they won_t take me because I_m 67. That_s what I would do, join the Army and get this war over with so we can get back to business.

I already do many of the things you suggested. I live in a RV Full time and have parked it since late 2006, I got rid of my gas guzzler and bought a vehicle that gets better mileage.

    Good luck on your campaign.
  • What is the best and safest community in Cincinnati to live in?|171356

I am moving there in two months and am looking for 1 bedroom apartments.

  • Clifton is not bad. Unless you do Mt. Adams, then there are no real safe places in Cincinnati otherwise.

Try one of the suburban communities along or just outside I-275, as well as those in Northern KY (not counting Covington, Newport, and Dayton, KY)

  • Check out Clifton- it_s in the Northern part of Cincinnati but just a couple of miles from downtown. It_s quite safe and has a really great atmosphere- young, vibrant, eclectic. The University of Cincinnati and the zoo are both very close by.
