Where can I find a good seating chart for concerts at the Miami Dolphin Stadium?|113562

I will be going to the Madonna concert at the dolphin stadium in November and have been trying to find a good seating chart that will give me a good idea of the view I will have from my seats. I went to the dolphin stadium webpage and they have a 3D view which is nice, however, it is based for football and not concerts. You really can not tell where the stage will be or anything from that 3D view they give. Is there another place I can find a good chart or 3D view?

Thanks.

  • Here is the actual stage set-up for the Madonna concert:

If you click on the image it will enlarge and you_ll be able to see the exact lay-out for that evening.

Have fun, it should be a blast! I hope you have decent seats and a good view!!!!

  • well, i went to a mets game there and i checked out my seats and it was exact. dont think its only the view for football, the
3-D view is accurate. i think that_s the best view that you will get, if i_m wrong, i_m sorry. ^_^
  • How to convince my parents to let me go to Disney world for my birthday.?|139451

I need help! I already pulled the whole _It_ll bring the family together_ and _It_ll be less expensive than Atlantis_ [that_s where we went last year]. But I want to bring my friend Jake with me. And I need more ways to convince her to let the family go for a week.

  • Hi! Well just to let you know, since it_s your birthday, you can get in for free!! Also, if you have other celebrations such as graduation, anniversaries etc, Disney will work with you to either to get in for free or deduct the price of your visit!!
I_m a HUGE disney freak and when I found out about that I went nuts!! I_m trying to go next year on my birthday!!

  • Bobbart, your parents may not be saying, _No_ just because they do not want to go. I know I_m always ready to go to Disney World!

Perhaps with all the economic turmoil right now they are trying to do the wise thing and save their money right now. Rather than trying to figure out how manipulate them through guilt or something else, consider that they actually want the best for you and try actually talking to them about why it_s a good/bad idea. If nothing else, they should respect your mature approach to the situation.

Perhaps you could figure out some ways to either help save money or to earn money to show them how much you really want to go.

  • Hi Jake -
I think you need to understand why your parents aren_t jumping on your bandwagon. What do they object to?

How far from Disney World do you live? Is there an air flight involved? Are you expecting your parents to pay to take Jake along? Would that be more than the family can afford to pay?

If this is the problem - what are you willing to do to help out? Can you earn some money from chores or a job to pay a portion of the expenses? Can Jake or his parents pay his share?

How well do your parents know Jake? Are they concerned that he might get into trouble? If so - what can you do to help them feel more comfortable about taking Jake along? Maybe - bring him by to let them get to know him better.

Does going for a week at your birthday mean missing school? If this is the concern - what can you do to assure your parents that you_ll stay on top of your studies and won_t let your grades slide?

Quit bugging your parents with what you want to do and try to understand where they_re coming from. Maybe then you can negotiate a deal that will work for all of you. (If not this year - then next year.)

  • In 2009, you can get her a FREE ticket on your birthday. Anyone who visits one of the Theme Parks at the Walt Disney World? Resort in Florida or Disneyland? Resort in California on their birthday in 2009 can get in free. All you have to do is register everyone_s birthday at disneybirthdaytreat.com.

Now if you already purchased a vacation package that includes a multi-day ticket that youll use on your birthday, you can choose one of the following birthday treats instead:

A birthday fun card in an amount equal to the price of a Walt Disney World Resort 1-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket** or a Disneyland Resort 1-Day/1-Park Ticket** for them to use on their birthday for merchandise, recreation or fun activities, as applicable, at select participating locations at the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland Resort; or

A special birthday FASTPASS badge*** for certain attractions at the Theme Park they visit on their birthday; or

A Walt Disney World Resort 1-Day Magic Your Way Base Ticket* or a Disneyland Resort 1-Day/1-Park Ticket for them to use any time until their next birthday.

Regarding rooms....there is such a variety of resorts that can accomodate all different budgets. Depending on when you plan to travel, you can get a Value room under $100 a night to a Moderate to just a little over $100 night. You wouldn_t need car rental because staying on the property you get free Disney transportation to and from the parks and the Airport!!!! Food wise...there are times of the year that offer Free Dining Discounts....if you go then all of you eat for free (1 Counter Service Meal _ 1 Sit Down Dinner _ 1 snack) per person per day. There are many options you can do this inexpensively. A little research and planning will help you convince them!

Hope that helps a bit! If you need anymore info...ask away!

    Hope that helps a bit!

  • How about using the fact that next year, Disney World will let you into the park for free on your birthday...could save them money on tickets. :)

  • Maybe let them know that Disney_s now letting you in for free on your birthday!
  • What do you think is going to happen to Universals Marvel Superhero island @ Islands of Adventure ?|111472

Now That Disney owns the rights to all Marvel characters and related merchandise, what_s going to happen to Marvel Superhero Island at Universal_s Island of Adventure theme park? New theme with all-new rides perhaps, or will they just slap a new paint job on the already existing attractions?

  • The Orlando Sentinel had an article about the contract. The contract is basically that Universal has exclusive rights to use the characters in perpetuity, as long as they maintain the Marvel Island. If they rethemed the island, they would have to retheme everything. But I can_t imagine that they would consider that for an extremely long time, if ever. So what they have, they will keep.

  • Universal has an existing contract with Marvel for, I believe, at least four headliner characters. As I understand it, the license for their use in the park is _virtually perpetual_, but most likely at least for another 10 years or so (this is a _best guess_, details aren_t necessarily known publically). Disney, in purchasing Marvel, has to honor those agreements still... just that now Disney is actually making a few bucks off it. Win-win for the mouse.

  • Spider-Mickey and the Incredible Pluto coming soon!
  • How bad is the weather in Miami at the moment? How much is it raining?|123991

I_m looking at going on holiday in Miami from next Monday for 10 days or so, but all the weather reports I look at forecast thunderstorms. Is it really going to be that bad? If it does rain, how long does it rain for and a what times? I desparately want a nice beach holiday!

  • it always says that but it is only a little while dont worry you will be fine

  • Your holiday shouldn_t be ruined, have a great one=]

Lately it_s been raining for a while then it_ll go away and the sun will come out and sometimes it happens so quick and sometimes you kinda forget it even rained.
Today it rained for like an hour I think then the sun was out again.
Oh but be careful w/ mosquitos and just a reminder it_s humid.

  • there are thunderstorms almost every day here in miami, usually in the afternoon but sometimes in the morning too. it doesn_t usually rain all day though. but the middle of summer is not the best time to come down here, it_s better during spring or maybe early summer and fall and it will still be really hot.

  • Just come to Laguna Beach in California, it_s only 90 here!! But that_s normal for us. Just wear some sun screen stuff to protect your body. What_s funny, is that I_m east, and have to work for the next 3 weeks, 12 hours a day, and in Riverside it_s 105 everyday. Anyhow, take my advice, if you got bucks, go to the California beaches. They are awesome right now. Ron

  • There is rain almost every day right now, rainy season, but doesnt last long. An hour or so each day. Some days you may get lucky and have no rain. The weather is beautiful, more sunny than rainy or cloudy.
Definately do the 10 day vacation down here, you won_t regret it.

  • yeah in the afternoons it storms. but there are good days. Summer is the worst time in my opinion to head here to Miami. But its not overcast and raining 24/7. You_ll get a tan, just not as much as if u came here in the fall or spring.

  • I was just there less than a week ago and it rained everday I was there (4 days). However, it rained in the evenings, for about an hour or two so you will still enjoy your vacation if you go. Even though it rains, it_s still really hot.

  • they say that, but really, it will rain one part of the day for maybe 2 hours or so. mostly mid day. lol. florida weather is stupid, but overall bring the sunscreen.

  • Its hot as balls,it_s been raining a bit everyday

  • it rains almost daily but it goes away fast too
so it shuldn_t dampened ur trip
  • What clothing should i get for college in PA as the weather is so different from California (my home)?|121210

I am moving to PA for college and I have lived in California all my life. therefore, I am not sure what kind of clothing I need because I hear the winters are brutal compared to the mild CA winters. Is it really necessary to have a _winter wardrobe_ like I_ve been told by so many on the West Coast?

  • Not really brutal. (Minnesota is brutal.) Just cold and wet. You_ll need boots for snow, and a good coat that comes down below your hips for about November to March. Also a hat and gloves. Wait until you get to school to see what the other kids are wearing. Some schools keep the rooms warmer than others, but you_ll generally need long-sleeved shirts and a couple of sweaters. Don_t worry about long underwear or real cold-weather gear unless you are going hunting/camping, or to a football game.

  • For winter in Pennsylvania you will need warm gloves, a heavy coat, a lined raincoat, and a pair of rubber boots. Wait until you move to buy them. You will freeze your first winter, after that you will become acclimatized to the winter weather, and it won_t bother you that much. You will also definitely notice the humidity in the summer.

If you_re taking a car it will need antifreeze protection for about 34 below zero (it never gets that cold, it_s just a safety margin), snow tires or tire chains for the drive tires, and a windshield scraper. If your car is not undercoated the salt on the roadways will begin to rust it apart.
