What is the best scenic route from Orlando to Tallahassee?|184579

Hello, I_m driving from Orlando to Tallahassee and I want to know some nice scenic routes to take. Thanks!

  • Driving out of Orlando, the Turnpike itself is about as scenic as it gets with views of hills valleys, lakes, etc. I would stick to the Turnpike to US-27. Then you have a Choice. You can take US 27 all the way to Tallahassee with many beautiful sections - Lakes, Farms, Horse country around Ocala - but lots and lots of things to slow you down - Little towns, traffic, stoplights. It will make a 4 hour trip easily 5 and half hours.

Another Option is to stck to the Turnpike and I-75., I-10 and make a few Stops - Micanopy, Paines Prairie, Cross Creek, Devils Mill Hopper, Swanee river St. Park.

  • 10 east to 75 south. south on the turnpike (the toll is $125) to rt 27 south. 192 east to the park entrance.

don_t take rt 27 from Ocala. you go through lots of little towns _ cities with lots of traffic lights. it takes more than twice as long to get there.

  • There is no such thing as a _scenic route_ from Orlando to Tallahassee, unless you go clear over to the coast and follow along that narrow road.. and even THEN you won_t see much water.

  • I second going Turnpike/ I-75 / US 27 out of Ocala. There are some boring stretches but it beats the monotony of I-75 to I-10. The roads are mostly 4 lane with 65mph limits now also.
  • How and what is needed to obtain a food street vendor license in Boston, MA?|162047

How and what is needed to obtain a food street vendor license in Boston, MA?

The items I plan to sell are foods. I would like to do it as my own business so I understand this is more work and would cost more. I was wondering the prices for the permit and the _location rental_ If you could please help me with any information or direct me to specific links that would be great. I am looking at the state site but its difficult to navigate!
    Thanks!

  • I_d start by downloading the Boston Small Business Resource Guide click ?
    http://www.cityofboston.gov/dnd/OBD/pdfs
    ?
It_s a PDF document, so you_ll need Adobe Reader to view it. If you need Adobe Reader (it_s free) go to
    http://www.adobe.com
and follow the instructions. The City of Boston site is
    http://www.cityofboston.gov

Good luck in your new business!

  • Boston does not allow mobile food vendors, but that shouldn deter you from from seeking your own piece of the street-food pie. Prior to applying for a license from the Public Works Department, wannabe vendors must get _health license_ from Inspectional Services Department. If your food is hot, get a fire permit from the Boston Fire Department.
  • What does California offer for health insurance for people with low income?|194400

I currently live in maine and get maine care. what would be the equivalent in california? and is it hard to get?

  • There is no equivalent.

In California, you can be an illegal immigrant or indigent and get MediCal, or you can be simply too poor to afford medical insurance and you get nothing.

  • Medi-Cal is easy to obtain if you meet the income level. Depending in the county you_ll be residing in, Medi-Cal may have a contract with an HMO Such as Kaiser Permanente. If such contract exists then you may _assign_ your Medi-Cal to the Health Plan and have zero copays or a share of cost for covered services and prescriptions . The provider of care should not have access to how your medical coverage was obtained meaning at the point of service the receptionist/clerk/physician does not know you have Medi-Cal assigned to the Health Plan only the copay amount if there be any.

You will want to contact The Department of Health Services in the county you are considering moving to so you may inquire about the application process. You may find the local office address and phone number in the yellow pages under Local Government.

    Hope this helps

  • Medi-Cal. If you moved here you would have to meet the residence requirement. Until then you have to have the Maine insurance. Contact the Med-Cal info line for more info. Medi-Cal is the equlivant of medicade through out the rest of the U_S.

  • Medical is available if you qualify. The system isn_t very good, the doctors are often in the ghetto and they will see you several times before they actually do anything so they get paid for several visits. You basically have to be on welfare to get it, or illegal, or a child of poor parents.
