What other hotels are close to the Renaissance Waverly Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia?|102754

My boyfriend and I are going to an anime convention held at the Renaissance Waverly Hotel this September. The Renaissance Hotel is already full and we are looking for other hotels in the surrounding area. If you could please just provide a list of hotels close to the Renaissance Hotel, I would deeply appreciate it.

  • Anime Weekend Atlanta, yes? XD I went a few years ago (don_t think I_ll make it this year unless I actually move up there.)

My friend had made the arrangements though and we stayed at a Holiday Inn.

Try looking at the AWA website. Last time I checked, they had a list of nearby hotels (One within walking distance... as is the mall, if you care). If not, I_m sure there_s a website that will list hotels near a certain place. Though if you have a car and good directions, I woudn_t worry too much about it.
  • Im moving to nyc in about three weeks and need a safe spanish neighborhood near yonkers. Where is good?|150234

I would like to be not far from the city and in a neighborhood that is relatively safe and has a large spanish speaking population. Can anyone recommend some place? Possibly with good nightlife and an age range of 20-40 mostly?

  • The only neighborhood I can think of is Kingsbridge (in the Bronx). It_s also not the safest neighborhood either though there are pockets within that are okay.

It is close to Yonkers (via the _1_ subway to Van Cortlandt Park along Broadway and the Bee Line _1_ bus to Yonkers). There is a large Latino contingency there...usually on Broadway and Kingsbridge Road. There is major shopping nearby (Target - W. 225th Street in Marble Hill)

The nearby nightlife is on Fordham Road called _X Bar_...salsa, hip-hop, reggaeton. If you can find a place near Bailey Avenue north of 238th Street. or along the reservoir on Sedgwick Avenue, you should be okay.

  • Any where in the Bronx except for the South Bronx or around the Concourse up to Fordham Rd. and around Soundview. Those are the ruffest parts of the Bronx that I know of. Everywhere else is great. I love the Bronx! Rent is wayy affordable_. Keep your eye oncraigslist.

  • If a large spanish speaking population is important to you, why not Washington Heights?

  • Are all traffic signals in Florida eventually going to be replaced?|146498

I live in Tampa and most of the traffic signals here hang from wires. I know it_s petty, but I can_t stand it, it_s just so ugly! In other parts of the state they_ve been putting the new black ones up on poles, so does anyone know if they_re going to be doing that state wide or is it only in certain communities? And why the hell did they start hanging them from wires in the first place?

  • Here in Orlando they usually just have it at busy intersections and nice streets. Its probably their goal to make it all like that but the wire thing is cheaper and does the job but I think they are ugly also.
