Where is the cheapest place to live in Utah?|141448

My fiance and I are tight on money at the moment, but we really need to move into Utah. We_re only looking for a one bedroom apartment, as it_s only a temporary situation. Where is the cheapest place to be? Any specific quotes?

  • Well, I just moved from Salt Lake City a few months back and I was paying $620 for a nice one-bedroom by the University of Utah. You can find cheaper apartments if you don_t want to live in a very nice area, though. But, Salt Lake does have some good deals.

  • The closer to SLC the more rent will be.

Logan and Brigham have some great deals on rentals.

My in-laws rent a 2 bed apartment in Brigham for $425 a month.

In Logan you can find places small places for $350.
Try KSL.com and Craigslist.com to see what is on the market in different parts of the State.

Good luck. Utah is a beautiful place.
  • Where is the warmest and cheapest place to travel?|139357

I need to fly out of Edmonton Alberta and get some warm!! Anyone want to come?

  • Florida, Vegas in the Spring, Texas, Southern California, Bahamas. I would recommend checking out the website BookMe dot com. You can compare ALL the reputable travel sites, and save money. Good luck!

  • If you don_t mind staying in hostel( $24 per night), then California is nice places to go, many beach, park, food is cheap and delicious.

  • Florida,Texas

  • texas, georgia
  • Where is the safest place to move outside the USA for a 23 yr old female?|139438

I am looking to move somewhere in the Caribbean. I have been looking at Jamaica. My friend her 4 year old daughter and I are moving. Where would the safest place to move for us and start our life.

  • I think the Cayman Islands are relatively safe because it has a high standard of living and per capita income. Also, maybe some parts of Puerto Rico would be okay.

  • Dutch Antilles

  • Europe, Germany is the savest place in the world.
  • What places get hit the by hurricanes the most in central and west Florida?|176518

I am trying to find a place to live with in 30 min drive of orlando or tampa. But I want to be away from the places that are hit the most by hurricanes, winds and floods.

  • If you want to be within a half hour of Orlando search in towns North and South. Going East or West will put you closer towards the coast. If you want to be within a half hour of Tampa look East towards Orlando. If you can find a town about half-way between Orlando and Tampa you_ll be looking at about a 45 minute drive in either direction.

Unfortunately since Florida is a peninsula (and a relatively narrow one) there aren_t any good places to hide from hurricanes. Make sure you ask about flood plains and whether you are buying or renting make sure you have insurance including flood coverage.

  • The closer you are to water the more likely you_ll take a direct hit from a hurricane. Most storms loose their strength long before they reach Orlando so it_s not nearly as bad there as it is in coastal areas.

Windermere, Winter Garden, Clermont, Oviedo, Lake Mary, and Winter Park are nice areas within 30 min of Orlando. You can have a hurricane come through any part of Florida but if you_re prepared they aren_t as bad as you think. Look for a block house with newer construction. I would avoid apartment complexes and condos b/c they are poorly built.

  • Any place in Florida can be hit at anytime. You just have to be prepared. Here is how.

  • Mainly South East Like Miami Homestead and Key Largo!!
  • What is the cheapest way to travel from Atlanta, GA to Huntsville, AL?|154922

I, being a college kid, need to travel back home with as little money leaving my pocket as possible. I want to leave Oct. 10th and get back Oct 14th, if that helps. And also, I have a friend in Atlanta and a friend in Demorest that would probably want to come. None of us have cars on campus, but we can probably get one of our parents to pick us up and us just carpool. Would that be the cheapest?

  • Cheapest? Walk.

  • Well, airfares from Atlanta to Huntsville on Delta are $233 roundtrip per person, and a fare I found for Greyhound from Atlanta to Huntsville is $66 per person roundtrip (non refundable). Might be cheaper to have your parents take you.

  • You can find cheap flights on Tuesdays. You have to catch them they go fast. I would say the bus is cheapest but take the longest. The question is would you rather a longer trip on the road verses spending a little more and having more time for vacation? Good Luck

  • It depends on what they_re driving, but the car would probably be cheapest for three people. If you book in advance you can get cheaper fares on greyhound, so start thinking about your xmas trip soon.

  • Greyhound bus it, hitchhike, or walk.
