Anywhere know a rental home or someplace cheap for florida vaction?|103185

We are planning a family trip with my SIL she has 3 kids and her hubby and i have a small infant and my hubby. we are looking for a condo house or a hotel that would accommodate all of us. We do wanna visit the parks (orlando studios etc) anyone have any ideas?? we are going from Feb 1st-Feb 7th

  • Florida (especially near the attractions) are loaded with vacation homes to rent. Many are as cheap if not cheaper than hotel rooms.

Here are a few sites with cabin rentals, cottage rentals, vacation homes _ condos from all over the United States. I advertise my cabin rental on these sites and find them to be very user friendly!

  • Can you recommend a yummy vegan restaurant in San Francisco?|158305

Or, one that has vegan menu items along with its omnivore selections?

I know about Millennium and Herbivore, but am looking for something different.

  • Green_s is one of the top vegetarian restaurants in the entire country, has won many awards. Amazing taste and presentation, and wholly vegetarian, you can request vegan for many dishes. It is in Fort Mason, on the water in the Marina District:

On the _The Menu_ page, click on any of the sections (lunch, brunch, dinner, etc.) and it will list sample dishes.

We have some great Indian restaurants in town. I just ate at a restaurant called _Roti_ that I thought was creative:

  • If you like sushi, Cha Ya in the Mission has good vegan sushi.

Alive! on Lombard is quite yummy, and it_s almost all raw food.
  • What damage is there in Virginia Beach from IDA?|112178

Esp along the Boardwalk and the Christmas lights, we are going the weekend after thanksgiving. Any suggestions on what to do besides the lights?

  • Damage mainly happened to people_s homes. The Christmas lights didn_t get much damage so they will be fine by the time you get here,

If you_re looking for other things to do besides the go to the beach, Virginia Beach has plenty of malls, movie theatres with IMAXs, clubs, bars, an aquarium, restaurants, and a lot of other fun things.

  • We go there annually in the summer. The Virginia Beach Marine Science Museum (I think that is the name) is a must see. Another good thing about Virginia Beach is you can take the trolly to just about anywhere that you want to go and leave your car parked.

  • How long does it take to drive from San Francisco to Vallejo?|112659

My family is taking a trip to San Francisco to visit some relatives. My mom said she would pay me if I drove my little sister to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom and that it_s not too far. How long does it take to get from San Francisco to Vallejo?

  • Take the Bay Bridge, then I-80 East and you will go right by it. Depends on traffic, but figure 45 minutes minimum, 1hr 30mins max.

  • during afternoon rush hour on I-80 it would take well over an hour

  • as said before, about 45 min to an hour. It_s a nice drive when there_s not a ton of traffic.

  • 45min

  • that depends entirely on the time of day. If you are talking non rush hour commute, 45 minutes. Rush Hour heads from SF to Vallejo in the afternoon starting at 3pm-ish.

Mileage wise it is is 32 miles and supposedly 33min according to yahoo maps. Which I suppose you could do in the middle of the night with no cars on the highway.
