How long does it take to travel to washington DC from California?|198427

ok so my friend who i kinda like is going to washington dc, and he left this morning and i was kinda wondering how long it would be until he returned my last text.. i know how weird.
but he is gone for a whole week, and i was just wondering. i know that they are 3 hours a head, but i just want to know how long it takes. :D

If he_s flying, and it_s a direct flight, between 4 and 5 hours, give or take. I_ve flown between LAX and BWI as well as between LAX and IAD (Dulles), and depending on the winds, they_re about the same traveling time.

But don_t forget he_ll want to pick up his baggage and get a ride to wherever he_s staying, so it may be longer before he has a chance to text you.
