Which water park in orlando will be the least crowded in june and july?|126558

There are the two Disney_s water park (Blizzard Beach and typhoon Lagoon, Wet n_ Wild, and the new Sea world water park. We are planning to go to at least one and maybe 2.

I have no idea why am i asking this so early, but my cousin wanted to know.

Thanks in advance!!!

  • whew! nothing like picking the hottest months! LOL
It will honestly be packed no matter where you go. Just take a look at the parks layouts and see which rides you like the most. I personally hate wet n wild and I LOVE Typhoon lagoon. I have a 9 yr old that is too timid for Blizzard Beach so we enjoy the lazy laid back feel of Typhoon Lagoon and love the shark tank there.
Take a cooler with you, lots of food and drinks too, or get a refillable mug.And...get there early to get some chairs to have later on in the day. Find a place in the shade, you_ll need it!!
It_s never too early to plan for Orlando!

  • NONE OF THEM

  • That time of the year, it_ll be about a tie actually. I used to live close to Orlando, in Lake Wales, by Donald Duck Orange Juice factory and Cypress Gardens.

  • You_d have to be insane to go to Disney in the summer. It_s wall-to-wall cranky parents with their twice as whiny kids, and everything is overpriced. NOT a fun experience.

  • Ummm sorry but NONE!!

  • Probably the water treatment plant, I mean, come on, it_s Orlando.

  • Wet n_ Wild.. youll probably have it to yourself

  • That new park Sea World is opening up, Aquatica, will be a real zoo, but they will all be bad.

  • none its effin orlando. esp in in the summr haha
  • How do I get from the Lax Airport to the Greyhound Bus station in Los Angeles?|189584

I need to get from the LAX Airport to the Greyhound Bus station to go to Reno,NV. Can somebody tell me a safe and cheap way? Because I certainly can_t afford a taxi.
    Thanks.

  • You should look online for cheap fares to Reno. Heck, I saw $39 fares to Seattle from LAX today.

  • i heard rumors that greyhound is going bankrupt so they wont have any buses to nowhere
a lot of their buses are no longer even operated by them but by a contractor
like Curreo, Vermont transit and TMNO buses
and the greyhound station in los angeles is the WORST and MOST dangerous place
to be in Los Angeles its located smack dab in the middle of SKID row!@
no taxi driver will take you there !
you would be just better off to fly from Lax to Reno
if you are already at Lax..
it would be a lot faster and safer too
if you could get a bus to reno
NOw if YOU have to get to greyhound
you would have to first take a lot C bus to the city bus center
then take Metro 439 to 7th and Firgora then on Flower and 6th take
a line 60 or 62 (this will take about 2 hours)
or you could take G bus to the Avattion station then the blue line to 7th strreet
then the line 60 cost is $5.00 (for a day pass) unles you would want to pay $1.25 on each mode of transit)
also note greyhound also has a stop in Hollywood

their buses are smelly the drivers don_t get lost etc
some driver don_t even speak english

  • Wow - the Greyhound station is in a rather bad part of Los Angeles near Alameda and 7th Street (on 7th Street).

The most convenient way to get to downtown LA (Union Station) is by the FlyAway Bus which is $5.

From there you will need to take a taxi but it is roughly a $6-$8 fare from Union Station to the Greyhound Station.

If you are a brave soul there is also the MTA bus service. I know the Metro Rapid Transit bus #760 (this is an express bus so the stops are less frequent) runs nearby and the MTA bus #60 also passes close by but do not know the hours these buses run. I don_t know the connecting bus routes but you could google _MTA Los Angeles_. I also don_t know what MTA bus fares are either.

    Good luck.

  • Los Angeles is a long way from Reno. Why didn_t you fly into Sacramento or San Francisco or connect to Reno? It will take you overnight to get there by Greyhound because LAX is out of the way for the Greyhound stations which are in Santa Monica and Hollywood. If you get to downtown Los Angeles, you could take the train to Reno. It is probably cheaper to fly.

  • From the airport, take the Union Station Flyaway shuttle. It will drop you off at Union Station in downtown. From there you can take DASH bus B to Olive/6th, and then Metro bus 18 to Alameda Street, or you can just take a taxi.

  • Search the web for shuttles LAX and look for one going downtown. Try another search for shuttle or bus LAX to Greyhound Los Angeles. If nothing found, ask at the airport. The Skycaps will know.
  • What less touristy stuff should I do and see in NYC?|175628

We are going there for the first time in Dec and my boyfriend and i dont_ want to do super touristy stuff ( I live in SF and want to avoid the Fishermens Wharf of NYC whatever that is) we want to check out museums and stuff and i would like to go to Whasington Square park. What should I see and where should I walk around. I want to do a lot of walking around. Also I am staying in Brookyln, any suggestions?

  • go iceskating at central park, bryant park or rockefellar center. i lived in ny my whole life and i still go, so i guess its not so touristy.

  • There_s the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and you can walk around Times Square. Actually you can walk to many places. You and your boyfriend can walk along some streets, like 42nd, and Broadway, and just look at the _brown stones_ i.e. house_s.

    http://www.123world.com/new-york/new-yor

Don_t forget to go to Macy, and Saks, it_s huge! There are a ton of plays to see as well. And you can get a TAXI on every corner.

Look into the SHERATON Hotel, it_s near so much to see, and you and your boyfriend could walk to Central Park from the hotel. There are also vendors all over the streets, so when the two of you are out and about, you_ll be able to purchase a scarf or a t-shirt, or a fun foe name brand watch. And don_t forget you two could go to the ZOO, and that_s a lot of walking.

Have a wonderful time in NY_!!!!

  • The things the girl above suggested are all really nice but they are the most TOURISTY things to do in NYC EVER!! Metropolitan Museum of Art is awesome, you should stop there if you like art. The MOMA is excellent if you like a modern twist on art. NYC has great museums. Do a little research and you_ll find something unique! I went to the Museum of Sex! It was interesting...

Take the R train and go to downtown Manhattan. Best night life, interesting people, great shopping.

  • here are some suggestions:

Brooklyn Heights and the Brooklyn Heights Promenade
Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Brooklyn Museum
    Park Slope and Prospect Park
    Brighton Beach

    Columbia University / Morningside Heights
Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine and the Grounds
    Grant_s Tomb
    Riverside Park

  • **The Central Park Zoo - open all year around; $8 for adults
**Nirvana Indian Restaurant - 40 Central Park South (not far from the Zoo) ... on a high floor, overlooking Central Park / beautiful view / classy neighborhood: dress nicely
**FAO Schwarz - the toy store, on Fifth Avenue at 58th St.
    ** The Metropolitan Museum - 82nd _ Fifth
closed Mondays, open late Friday _ Sat (take the Madison Avenue bus uptown, the Fifth Avenue bus back downtown) ($ donation)
** The Frick Collection - (museum) 70th Street at Fifth Avenue - beautiful buliding _ grounds -also closed Mondays; ($ donation)

Staying in Brooklyn: take the #51 bus across the bridge to Chinatown in Manhattan.( #51 bus: not on weekends; check the schedule - it runs about every half-hour) or take the subway.... Kam Man is the big Chinese supermarket, right on Canal Street, Chinatown_s _main drag_

(I am not saying you should not go, but I don_t understand your choice of Washington Square Park; forgive me)

  • Can you recommend a nieghborhood to in Kansas City to live in?|173914

We are a newly married couple moving to Kansas City. We are looking for somewhere that has restaurants and parks. Somewhere nice anything under $1000/mo. Any help would be appreciated.

  • South KC is nice~ the Red Bridge area.
    Lees Summit Mo is nice
Overland park or Prairie Village Ks is also nice
North KC Mo is a good option also

  • Please add some additional information - what else do you like to do? Everywhere in the area, save for the rundown parts of the city, has restaurants and parks.

Do you consider yourself an urban loft sort of person? Are you small-town people? Do you like the suburbs? If you_re planning on having children soon, is being in a good school district important to you? What sort of cultural activities are interesting to you, if any? Do you have two cars - Kansas City has little to no public transportation available, so that could restrict you.

Also, where do you work? How far are you willing to commute? Kansas City is a sprawling city.

I live on the Kansas side of the metro, so I_m only familiar with the communities south of the river. Northern Johnson County (and western Olathe) has some older, more established neighborhoods, including some areas that are drying up, but still have a lot of character. Southern Johnson County (south of I-435, including east Olathe) is wealthier and newer. Downtown and Midtown (along Broadway, from 25th to 45th street, roughly) have some great little loft and redevelopment neighborhoods springing up. Taxes are higher in Johnson County than Wyandotte County (northern KC, Kansas side). If you live in Kansas, but work in Missouri, you_ll pay additional income tax, so keep that in mind.

  • 119th _ metcalf to 135th _ Metcalf in Overland Park, KS if you enjoy the suburbs. There are lots of restaurants and apartments in that price range. If you like more of a city vibe I would recommend staying on the Missouri side in KC. Downtown/River market area has some nice lofts and it is quite trendy but there is still a lot of work to be done. Another nice area in KC is the brookside and waldo area. Look in the area around 50th and Main to 75th and Main. Only drawback is there are not many apartments, mostly homes.

  • Do not do Olathe there are stating to me trashy areas out there now and it is getting super busy with tons of traffic. Same goes to Metcalf. Never live by Metcalf. There is so mush construction that it will last for a long time. I like the answer about Bonner and Piper because right now they are offering 95% tax free for 10 years on houses. Right now we just moved into a new house in Bonner and have that and our monthly payments are $1100 a month. I love it and the area. We are congested with traffic but we also have awesome highway access. Also all the cops and firefighters live in Piper or Bonner. Good luck. Check out Speedwayrealtykc.com for houses.

  • Check out my answer to the most recent question you asked....I think you would like living downtown or any of the suburbs I named that are very close to downtown (like 15min drive).

  • Bonner Springs or Piper.

  • 74th and paseo

  • Try Olathe Kansas, It_s a nice town thats part of the KC Metro area

  • 40th _ Main is a nice spot, as well as 36th _ troost-older areas.
