Is Nashville a good place to live and work?|120421

I_m a married african american male who work as a nursing assistant and have career goals to make it as a songwriter/producer. My wife and I are planning to relocate from Rochester, NY (near Buffalo). How is living in Nashville?

Nashville_s a wonderful city. It_s pretty clean and the people are friendly. You can almost normally find a job in what particularly interests you. If you want to be a songwriter/producer, I would suggest Memphis, TN, though. Nashville may be the home of Country Music, but not many hopefuls come from there. Memphis is a better place if you want to be a songwriter- they_re more open to it. The reason not many hopefuls come from Nashville is because there are already several country music stars that moved to Nashville (Keith Urban, Kellie Pickler, Tim McGraw, etc) so they want more proffessionals working in Nashville. Memphis, though, has open arms.

Memphis - crime is over the top. Nashville has so many venues for live music, there_s room for everyone.

Nashville is cool but i want to put Memphis on your mind moved here from South Carolina and loving it
