How do I know what kind of outlet a campground will have?|167267

What do I ask when I want to know what kind of outlets they have? I do not know much. I know some plugs have two prongs and some plugs have three prongs.

The best way, to make sure you will have the right plug, is to take an adapter. That way, you will be able to hook up no matter what kind of an outlet they have. We have been RVing for a couple of years and I have only seen two kinds of outlets. I have also seen 2 kinds of service: 30 amp and 50 amp. For our use the 30 is fine but if you will be operating a lot of things that take electricity you may want to ask that question. Good luck.
