What is the weather like in mid-January in the United States?|147219

I am planning on going on a trip during mid-January, and I want to know what the weather would be like. I live in Mississippi, and I plan on traveling to Florida.
So, what is the weather like in mid-January in those regions of the U.S.? And, what clothes should I wear? Like, should I wear big thick jackets, shorts, etc.?

  • That is down south so it won_t be too cold. If it was up north, it would be very very cold. The days will probably be in the 50_s in Mississippi (45-65???) and warmer in Florida (65-75). You could use a jacket in the evenings but not a heavy coat except on rare occasions. With any luck, you should be able wear shorts in Florida during the days but not always.

You should look up your locations using the search engine at weather.com:

  • florida is a warm state but it rains you don_t need heavy clothes bring spring clothes but it does sometimes get chilly maybe a very light sweatr or jacket just in case it rains and your outside or if you get chilly

  • Cold! wear thick jacket, socks, jeans...
