I only know of 1 Lykins. Money is very tight right now and I need heat. Thank you

  • I live right on the edge of Fairfield and Hamilton myself. Lykins is good, but you may want to also check with BP Oil, as they also do delivery to Fairfield:

  • What are my options if I settle in the US if I travel there on a Student Visa?|103779

I_m planning to travel to the US later this year to study Engineering and assuming everything goes ok and I decide I want to settle there, what would be my options for doing so? Would, for example, I be able to get an employment based Green card if I was able to find a job? I_ve been looking on various US government websites and I_m struggling to make much sense of it all.

  • Employment based green card is very tough to get, especially if you only have a Bachelor Degree (assuming you_re still in high school now).

You could, however, try to find an employer who_s willing to submit H1B visa petition on your behalf. H1B is valid up to 3 years and you may renew it once more (for another 3 years). Once you_re employed and if they deem you valuable enough, they might be willing to sponsor a greencard for you. I know this is possible because a friend of mine who has a Master Degree in pharmaceutical was lucky enough to find an employer to sponsor her work visa. A year later, they approached her and let her know they_re willing to start the green card application process.

  • Having a visa is different from having a green card. A visa means you are a guest in the country. You are working, married, or in school and plan to stay for a set amount of time and then go home. Having a green card means you are a permanent resident of the U.S. You have to apply for it once you have lived here for a certain amount of time and you have to have someone vouch for you, such as a spouse, employer, etc to say that you are a good person and you plan on being a good resident of the U.S.

Your best option is to get a student visa and see how you like it in the U.S. If you decide you like America and want to stay here and get a job, you would need to apply for a work visa. You have to have a job with an employer to vouch for you before you can do this. Once you have the visa, as long as you keep it up to date, you can stay for as long as you would like or as long as the terms of the visa allow (it differs with every person). However, I would suggest that after a few years, apply for a green card. You would have established a good record in the U.S. and paid taxes so getting one shouldn_t be an issue. After several years, you can become at citizen!

  • If you can find an employer who can sponsor you an H1B Visa, then you can stay in the US as long as your employer is your sponsor. So, while being a student, start scouting information which company that gives H1B Visa.

  • Your OPTIONS are.. to stay on in the U.S. as an ILLEGAL ALIEN.. in which case.. .you will be ARRESTED and DEPORTED when they catch you. You CAN NOT CONVERT A TOURIST OR STUDENT VISA to a WORK VISA in the U.S. any more than YOUR country would let a U.S. citizen convert THEIR temporary visa to a work visa.
  • What are some decent hotels and restaurants in Bellingham, Washington?|114396

I_m going to be there for a week at the beginning of November.
I_d prefer something close to Western Washington University.
If anyone knows of any decent hotels that aren_t overly expensive, and a couple restaurants that are nearby, your advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Fairhaven Village Inn
It seems a very good place to stay. Several persons visiting the University were pleased. Just read the reviews.:)
  • How to get from union station to the cta red line?|179432

Im going to visit my cousin at loyola and I know you can take the red line and that it isn_t far from union station. So if I were to walk there how exactly would i get to the red line? Whenever I try to look it up on a website it sends me in a million different directions. Im pretty bad with directions so any help would be great!

  • just walk east a few blocks to State Street. The subway is under State

  • Union station very near the red line... Red line used to be called the _State Street Subway_, so, therefore, it is under State Street.
Union station is off the Blue line at Clinton, which is only one block South and West from the red line... I would suggest you walk a few blocks north and a few blocks East to the loop and find State Street, look for the Chicago Theater and there you are.

  • LOL I_m sorry, but Union Station is the name of a gay bar in the city I live in. I just had to tell you that, ok I love you Chicago! _3 xox
  • What are some points of interest at Valley of Fire State Park?|154315

I_ve lived in Vegas for over 2 years now and still haven_t been to the Valley of Fire. My parents are coming this weekend and want to go. What are some specific points of interest in the park that I should show my visitors?

  • Seven Sisters, Rainbow Vista, Atlatl Rock and Fire Canyon.

The heat is going to be brutal! I went hiking the other day and it was not a great idea. Most of the sites at VoF can be easily seen/gotten to from the road/car, so it shouldn_t be too bad. Make sure you have plenty of water and sunscreen.

  • MAXX NEEDS TO GET OUT OF THE CAR MORE OFTEN... VALLEY OF FIRE IS GREAT, HOT AS HELL BUT GREAT... YOU MUST WALK THROUGH THE STONE CARVINGS, TAKE A CAMERA, HAVE FUN, AND DRINK LOTS OF WATER... FOLLOW THE ROAD THROUGH AND IT WILL DROP YOU OFF AT THE LAKE...

I_m going to see my husband graduate from Air Force Basic Training in a couple weeks. I would like to know which hotel/inn is the cheapest and closest to Lackland Air Force Base.

  • Go to bookme.com

  • We we_re just there to see my big brother graduate in december. I_m pretty sure the cheapest hotel we found was really close, I can_t remember the name but if you go to the AF website there are links on there for basic training graduation and there_s stuff about graduation and different hotels you can choose from that are close.

  • go to BookMe. You can compare prices on all the major travel sites from one location. It_s the only way you can guarantee the best deals for the best hotels for your money online.
