What are some awesome places to visit in Boston or Salem?|128076

What unique places have you found while visiting there? im planning a trip there sometime during the summer and want to experience all i can there.

  • I live right in the heart of Salem, MA and there is so much to do, but you can actually see all the great tourist stops in one day. Boston on the other hand - I work right on Beacon Hill and there_s enough here to keep you busy all summer!

If you like horror movies, check out Count Orlok_s Nightmare Gallery on Derby St. in Salem. It_s a museum, not a haunted house. The Pirate Museum is also good, as is the Witch History Museum.

One place most people don_t know about in Salem is The Willows.

Check out this site and you can also call and request your own visitors guide: www.salem.org

  • both cities are full of unique, historical places to visit. even without a detailed plan you will find interesting points of interest.

you really can_t go wrong with either city. but i might be biased, my family is from Salem.

  • Cheers is pretty cool. For a great meal go to the Oyster House, it_s the oldest resturant in the country, the cross the street and you_ll find all kinds of neat shops.

  • You can visit OGradys pub. John O_Grady founded it, he was some Irish Immigrant from 1867 and in Salem you can visit the trees where they hung the witches until they died
  • What are the best places to order a Thanksgiving dinner to-go in San Diego?|128347

I_m only having a thanksgiving for 2 people this year. I_m not sure if I should do the baking or get some thanksgiving dinner to go. Are there any other places besides Ralph and Mimis_s cafe that will sell thanksgiving dinner to go? Thank you for your help.

  • My personal favorite is Whole Foods in Hillcrest of La Jolla. My family and I did that one year and it was delicious.

  • A friend of mine SWEARS by Vons service deli for a full Thanksgiving dinner (he buys there every single holiday). I_ve heard that Henry_s Marketplace also has a pretty good deal. Shop around online...you may be surprised at what you find at your local grocer.
  • What is the best/safest area in Dallas to rent a clean motel/hotel at a reasonable rate and close public trans|140866

We will be flying into the DFW airport and vacationing in Dallas at the end of May. We would appreciate information on motels/hotels that are clean, reaonably priced, and in a safe area with close access to public transportation. We also need information on places to go and transportation to get there. Any information on vacationing in Dallas would be appreciated.

  • I haven_t checked the rates recently. However, I recommend the Embassy Suites Hotel (Northwest Hwy). The rooms are nice, the service is good and every morning you are there you get a full breakfast buffet complimentary. You are saving money with at least one or two meals here because you can eat from pancakes to waffles, from eggs to omelets, etc. For a nice evening meal out, I recommend the Grand Lux Restaurant located at Galleria Mall or McCormick_s Restaurant located at North Park Mall (Northwest Hwy). You can travel by bus to many spots by calling Dart Transportation 214-979-1111 and they also have Dart Train that will take you pretty much anywhere you want to go. Hope your stay here will be memorable and may the angels of the Lord keep you safe while you travel and stay in our city.

  • Public Transportation isn_t great in Dallas. Most of the tourist activities are downtown - museums, etc. - so that is a good place to start even though rooms may not be the cheapest. Take a look at the Hampton Inn downtown - probably your best, most economical bet.

There are always great events in Dallas this time of year. Festivals, plays at the Dallas Summer Musicals and a myriad of other theaters, and so on.

  • Down town dallas. Well the good part of it. Theres tons of good places to eat and tons of stuff to do!

  • Near the grassy knoll or by the book depository
  • What kind of highway is the I-29 between Fargo and Kansas City?|138776

Particularly between Fargo and Omaha. I am thinking of travelling it tomorrow. Is it a good twinned highway that is taken care of? I am heading to Florida (in Minot now) but don_t want to go via Minneapolis because the weather is not great. Can anyone tell me about that highway?

  • Its wonderful, one of the best of the interstates, very little traffic and flat driving
