What is the market like for Vegas dealers?|143047

How hard is it to get a job as a beginner? Do they have extensive background and credit checks?

  • VERY HARD , they have back ground checks credit checks are very inportant, A lot of the old and small casions that trained u and took break ins have now closed, it is very hard to get in with out knowing some one, The last few yrs its been that way ,DEALERS SCHOOLS ARE OF SOME HELP but don_t rely on it.

  • You got to know someone to be a dealer but there are plenty of other job openings at casinos. Take a different job get to know the pit bosses and then apply to be a dealer.

  • According to what I saw a few weeks ago, you have to be at least female and oriental. What is the deal? Are they recruiting and training them abroad?

  • yes to all questions.
    and market is open.

  • It is actually not that hard to get a dealing job at a break in casino, but you will make $100 a day or less at most break ins. A dealer school will help you get an audition. It is when you are ready for a bigger casino when it is almost impossible if you do not know someone. Las Vegas is a city of who you know, not what you know.

  • u gotta know somebody to get a job in the casinos!

  • oh wow... _you have to be oriental._ how ignorant is that?

anyway, yes it is hard to get a job as a dealer. you_d probably have to start off at a crapier hotel off the strip or in downtown. like what most people said before me, in vegas you have to know someone to get in. whether it be cocktailing, dealing, working in valet, or even the spa you need to know someone who can hook you up and refer you.
  • How much does a rental car in Tampa Florida cost?|130047

My friend and I want to go on a trip to Halloween Horror nights for two nights in Orlando and would like the general basic cost of a rental car
and What age do you have to be to rent a car?

  • The basic minimum age to rent a car with NO underage fee is 25.

Most car rental companies will allow people to rent between 21 and 24, with an extra underage fee per day that can vary by city and by car rental company. You can find out more about the underage fees at

  • Hey Livi!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok i searched the web and priceline said there is a Hertz near by that is $15.49 per day and a optional $11.00 per day for collision insurance (which we should get) in the end it is roughly 62 dollars! Can_t wait! Hope we can go!

  • How to spend Christmas Eve day in San Francisco?|143716

How should a family of four (2 adults 2 teens) spend Christmas Eve day in San Fran? We were planning on ice skating in Union Square but what else would be festive and memorable?

  • Take the Cable Car to Fisherman_s Wharf and Pier 39. Enjoy SF.

  • I_d say the Nutcracker, but it_s surely too late to get tickets for Christmas Eve.

Umm... I think the Walt Disney Museum is screening Fantasia on a big screen, which should be fun. Though teens may be in that awkward phase where they_re not young enough to appreciate it at first-hand value, and not old enough for the nostalgia/kitsch value. I_m tempted to go to it myself, but it depends on how much I hate people/holidays then (doesn_t look promising so far). _:D_ But meh. Off-Market Theatre is doing a performance of David Sedaris_ Santaland Diaries (in highschool, everyone loved David Sedaris... I_m guessing that hasn_t changed in the past few years), if that_s your thing.

Meh. Doing stuff on Christmas is kind of annoying, imo. If you actually live here (as opposed to visiting), I suggest staying home and baking all day! _3

  • The wharf has everything for all of you. Take a sightseeing cruise in the Bay for an hour or two, stop at one of the street artists to have a caricature drawn of the family for a remembrance.

  • how about stay in and enjoy ones company playing games and watching movies!!

  • yelp, take the cable car and explore pier 39- the kids would love it.
  • Where in manhattan does chinatown start and stop?|141626

I need to go to chinatown in manhattan but i dont know where in manhattan it is.

  • i don_t know the specific dimensions--you could search online for maps--but if you take the N/Q/R/W or A/C/E or 1/2/3 to Canal street, you_re in the heart of Chinatown.(Broadway and Canal)

  • Chinatown is located in downtown Manhattan. It kind of overlaps with many other neighborhoods so there aren_t exact boundaries, but if you go along Canal Street between Broadway and Bowery (closer to Broadway) you will be right in the middle of it.

It_s a fun neighboorhood to visit, very busy and exciting. Have a great time!

  • Chinatown overlaps into other neighborhoods like the Lower East Side. I would say it_s Delancey Street in the north which is on the border of the East Village and SoHo, East Broadway in the east stopping at Rutgers Street, Broadway in the west around TriBeCa and Chambers Street in the south around City Hall.
