  • Where to go dancing in Vegas after our wedding?|152187

We are having our wedding at the Excalibur in early November, 2007, and a small reception at a house we are renting nearby afterwards. Nothing fancy, just some appetizers, cake and champagne. No DJ, dancefloor or the like, but we_d like to go somewhere afterwards to have our first dance together. Some of our guests will probably tag along as well. Can anyone recommend a good place? A lounge of some sort, with seating for a group. Either live music or DJ. Maybe somewhere that wont be overcrowded. Probably somewhere around 7 or 8pm on a Saturday. Thanks!

  • I think your family, especially your parents...will enjoy a small quiet and romantic place called the Crazy Horse. It_s perfect for this event.

  • Congrats to you first off. There are way too many places to choose from and with varying price ranges. The best way to to research some places and pick what interests you the most. Check out the websites below and have fun!
  • What is the best website, or place to buy disney tickets or fast pass tickets?|162406

We are going on vacation to orlando, but are overwhelmed with the different prices and websites . Any suggestions about the best tickets prices for more than one disney park would be appreciated

  • AAA.com (you have to be a member). You can buy a Fast Pass pass for each park, in that parks Gift Shop.

  • fast passes r free---www.mousesavers.com

  • Hi,

You can_t buy a Fastpass, but you can get discounted DIsney tickets. See the info below comparing the gate and discounted prices.

    Good luck.

  • We always use Disney_s own website or go to our local DisneyStore for them. Disney always saves their best deals for themselves. There is no discount if you go to the DisneyStore rather than getting them online, except you don_t have to pay the shipping costs. The prices are the same and best thing about getting them early at the DisneyStore is that you don_t have to waist time in line, you just go right up to the turnstiles. As for fastpasses, they are free with your admission ticket, whether you are staying on property or not. All you have to do is slide your ticket into the fastpass kiosk and it will spit out a piece of paper giving you a 2 hour time slot to come back to that ride. If you are going with a group of people, you will have to have each of their tickets to get their fastpasses. And once your time slot is up, go to the fastpass line (with your slip of paper in hand) and the Cast Member will take it from you. You will be on the ride in no time. Have fun.

  • There are a few websites that offer a small discount on tickets. We have used
    www.ticketmania.com
    and
    www.undercovertourist.com
The discounts are not huge, but every little bit helps. I would be very wary of anyone offering a large discount. Disney is very careful about who can sell the tickets and maintains strict price control, so if the offer is too good to be true, the tickets may not be real.
As far as Fastpass, the previous poster is correct, they are free. Do not pay money for them off eBay or any other site, it is a scam. Fastpasses are only good for the day they are issued.
The best thing to do, is to go to Disney with a plan. We used
    www.custommouseplans.com
and they were great! With the plans they made, we didn_t wait in a line that was more than 10 minutes long!
    Have fun!

  • You will not get a massive discount off theme park tickets. It is best to check out web sites to compare prices.
    Look at
    http://www.homefromhomeflorida.com/ticke
for a genuine discount ticket supplier, but compare with other sites.

  • I personally reccomend using
    http://www.OrlandoFunTickets.com
    they are great and
    http://www.MousePlanet.com
    ,
    http://www.MiceAge.com
    ,
    http://www.MiceChat.com
    all reccomend them too!

  • There are small legitimate discounts on Disney World theme park tickets through this link:
    http://www.MapleLeafTickets.com/?a=719

If you_re a AAA member, you may be able to get a discount on tickets.

You_ll save $45 per ticket if you can just visit one park per day, without Park Hopping.

  • I agree with the posters above me. Buying fast passes off a website are just going to get you scammed. Fast passes are only good for the date they are issued, and there is a date printed on them. They_re free with your ticket anyways. Just run to one of the more busy rides and get one, go ride something else, and come back. Also, it doesn_t matter if you go past the time, they still will take them. Like if the fast pass says 11:30 - 12:30 and it_s 4:30, it_s fine.
  • What is there to do in and around Kellogg ID?|101757

  • Is it snowing in yellowstone at this time for driving on the upper and lower loop?|102155

I am considering going to yellowstone this weekend entering from west yellowstone. How is the road conditions in the park now? Is it snowy and icy? Can I drive there with a car w/o snowchain from west yellowstone?

  • I just came home from Yellowstone on Saturday. It snowed a lot the week I was there. We had snow in the park 10/5-10/9. The roads were dry and clear by last Wed. 10/10, but we did get 8 inches one of those snowy days. We stayed in West Yellowstone as well and headed into the park one morning before 7am. By 9am it had snowed so much that they were closing roads and tons of people got stuck at the Canyon visitor_s center and at Old Faithful Village. It took about 4 hours for them to open a couple of roads. As far as I know, it hasn_t been bad since the middle of last week, however, there were signs up in the park suggesting use of snow tires. Dunraven Pass is closed for the season. Craig_s Pass was closed off and on all week because the road would thaw and then freeze over again. If it does snow, they do a pretty good job of getting the roads cleared.

I have attached a web cam link so you can see what it looks like in different parts of the park....clear right now. There is also a link for weather conditions and I think maybe even road info. If you click on the web cam for Old Faithful (top left) you can scroll down to see what the temp is. It hasn_t gotten much above 30 this week as was the case most of last week.

    Enjoy your trip!

    FYI-
Park roads do not close to vehicular traffic until 11/5 this year. It snowed last night 10/17.

  • Better check the official Yellowstone website - I believe most of the roads are closed now into Yellowstone. Only one stays open all year - the northern one on the Montana border, and even then you can_t go in very far.
  • How far is the BAPE or BBC/ICE CREAM store from Times Square New York City?|152856

Me and my dad are planning a visit to NYC soon, and I am interested in going to those stores, so thanks for the help!

  • BBC/Ice Cream is in SoHo on 456 West Broadway. From Times Square you_ll want to take a downtown R train to Prince St. This will put you at Prince and Broadway. From there walk about 4 blocks west and you_re there.
  • How do people afford to live in New York City?|150766

If New York is so expensive to live in, then how is it city with the highest population in the country. All the people that live there can_t make a lot of money. How do people afford to live there and what jobs do they do?

  • With very good paying jobs and/or room mates to share with the expenses.

  • you kinda answered your own question. NYC does have the largest urban population in the country, so, ultimately, it just can_t be so so expensive for 8 million people to live here. we make a little more than everybody else, be we also spend it in different places and in different ways. some expenses you can even choose not to have at all, like the expenses of having a car...

  • becuase we all work for our money and are used to the high prices

for example my aunt just bought a house for $500,000 in queens, and my other aunt rents an apt for about $2,000 a month ( 2 bedrooms)

one summer we went to the south and we shocked that a 2 brm there is only about $600
and a house is about $200k
everyone in NY isn_t rich, but we have money

just how everyone in LA isn_t drving BMWs

  • people do anything.. literally anything to just to live in nyc...

  • You got to think of it this way. Rent may be 3 times more, but the salaries that we receive are also 3 times more.
