I live in Arizona and my family are planning to live in one of those places. Which is place is more relaxing.
Kentucky..i went there over the summer and it was awesome!!
= )Both are beautiful states. Kentucky has a much lower cost of living than California. Kentucky as a whole is more laid back than California. However, California does have some laid back areas. San Diego and the beaches of Orange County get my pick for the most laid back.
Both have their positives and negatives. It really depends on what your family is looking for.
California is much more diverse. It is a huge state and offers a large variety of types of places to live; Northern vs. Central vs. Southern California. You can go from snow in the mountains to the desert in less than an hour. There is a lot more to do in California than Kentucky.California is huge and it depends a lot on what part of Cali. Kentucky may be relaxing but I would never really want to live there. A lot of rednecks and hillbillys in Kentucky...it_s real country in most parts. That is good if you are into that sort of thing. Kentucky is also near Indiana and Ohio which is cool because there is a lot to do and see in those places.
I suppose it would depend on what exactly you are looking for. Kentucky is definately relaxing as its mostly rural. As for Cali there are both rural and big city areas and it would depend on which you end up moving to. Good luck!kentucky definately. i run out of louisville ky every week to los angelos, san diego, camp pendleton, all the way up 5 to huron ca, if you like looking at tomato_s all day long or if you enjoy cabbage fields the california is the place for you lol!!! and if you like having the state of california ripping you off and pulling you over to check that your not an alien then i guess its alright, as far as dirt in kentucky yes we have dirt and to say kentucky has child molestors would be correct but california is molsetor free apparently to one comment on here so as for being well of both states [well kentucky anyway, california wants to stop you at checkpoints and check you in at the border as you come into their country, you wont have to do that in kentucky you can just drive across the state line and not explain why you are in their state] id suggest the so called red neck state of kentucky its all one gang of rednecks so you wouldnt have to choose between the _bloods and cripts_ just dont move to kentucky expecting to be a cross dresser and getting the same warm reception as you would in cali. :}Um, I dunno much about Kentucky, but I live in California, and it_s amazing! :) Beaches and everything. No doubt that the ocean is relaxing ;) And there are theme parks and stuff....and you can go snowboarding, or hiking, or whatever. :D And fine colleges, too, if you_re interested in those.California, definitely. I live here in Cali and there_s so much to do.
Beaches, amusement parks, national parks, mountains, valleys, big cities, small cities, all kinds of people, it_s just an awesome place. If you want relaxing and layed back, Go to kentucky.
A lot of country folks, And slow moving pace.
I live in alabama, It_s too slow for me here, So kentucky is not the place for me.
