How much money should i take for almost 3 weeks in Florida?|119890

In 2 days i am leaving for florida. We are staying in a beach condo in Siesta Key for 1 week 6 days. Then we are going to Orlando and going to Discovery Cove. I am only 16 so i dont have to buy food and all that stuff. This wont be my first time. It will be my 5th or 6th to Siesta. Never been to Discovery Cove before though.

How much money do you think i should take?

  • Well since all you have to do is bring spending money, that makes it a lot easier on you!

    Orlando has some great shopping- make sure to save money for the outlets. You could easily spend $500.00 and get a whole bunch of awesome clothes, shoes, and accessories.
    Orlando also has a couple nice malls - The Florida Mall and Mall at Milenia. Both have stores like Abercrombie, Hollister, American Eagle, big department stores, journeys etc, although I would save journeys for the outlets.

    Remember to save money to buy things at the theme parks. It can get pricey so make sure you buy things that you only want. I would put aside around $100 for that.

    So all in all, I would say around $700 would be plenty depending on what you buy and where you shop! Remember Target has some really cute bathing suites and pyjama shorts, and Shoe Carnival has great deals on shoes (there is on in Kissimmee right beside Target and an old-fashioned A_W)

    Have an awesome trip!

  • 25 hundred dollars.

  • ALOT

  • even though i don_t have that kind of money 3 weeks is like 1,000 to 2,000 dollars!

  • I would take at least $2,000
  • What is the best way to apply for jobs across country.?|186178

    I live in Washington state, and I am moving to Buffalo, NY. I am not very old so I dont have a spectacular resume or anything but I am a good worker and I do have many skills. I have tried to apply for some jobs over there but no one will even respond! I want to have a job lined up before I go.

  • Apply on-line. Most if not all corporations have a website and they will have careers listed on-line and guidelines for applying on-line. Include in your cover letter that you are relocating to that area so they know you will be in the area, many companies don_t like to hire people who are not local except for very high end jobs, then often they are hiring them away form a competitor and paying for them to relocate. Most lower level jobs don_t pay you to relocate so companies will shy away from out of town applicants. It might get easier once you have a local address also, then you can put it on your resume and use your current out of town address for a mailing address.

  • What is the temperature usually like in fort lauderdale Florida in december?|185488

    Im going for christmas, and im really hoping to get a tan! Will i be dissapointed with chilly rainy days?

  • Well, you can most certainly get a tan with our December sun here in Fort Lauderdale. Most of the time, the weather is excellent. Sunny and 78-82 degrees. But there are times when we_ll have a two or three day period of cooler or wetter weather. We have no clue what the weather will be for Christmas, so cross your fingers and let_s hope it works out just the way you wish.

  • Well in December it_s one of the best that it gets in Ft. Lauderdale and the broward county area. The best temperature/climate/weather in south florida is in Miami and the Miami-Dade County area. In Ft. Lauderdale and broward county, it_s more humid and sticky and you sweat a lot more and easier. The sun is unbearable most of the time, that you don_t want to anywhere outside that the sun can hit you. In Miami and Miami-Dade County, it_s more fresh and you actually want to be outside, it_s not as humid as Ft. Lauderdale/broward county, but in truth it_s rarely humid that you can_t stand it, all of Florida in generally is _humid_, but in Miami/Miami-Dade County it doesn_t bother you, it_s really the best temperature/climate/weather in Florida. It never gets sticky and if it ever does you don_t notice it because it doesn_t bother you and you rarely sweat (it really also depends on the person) but I have only sweated twice and it was because I was running. The _cold_ in Florida is also better in Miami, right now in south florida, it_s chilly but you can always get a tan as long as the sun is out. The rain is also worse in ft.lauderdale, I couldn_t stand living in Ft. lauderdale and other parts in broward county (it_s the way that it is, like the temperature, etc is different in different places in California even though, they_re in the same state) But yes, I recommed Miami/Miami-Dade County, not just for the temperature/climate/weather, but for everything else, beaches, nightlife, city(downtown, and midtown only found in Miami) and the infinity other things only found in Miami.

  • it doesn_t usaually get to cold here but its alwats best to check what the weather is going to be like when your here because sometimes its hot and sunny and other times rainy and cold!!

  • 60_s-70_s

  • Today was sunny _ in the low 80_s.
  • How much would the cost be for two adults to stay for a weekend at disney world?|154375

    My boyfriend and I really want to visit Disney World this spring. We_re interested in staying a weekend but would like to know the average cost. Do all parks cost separate? We do not want a dining plan and would like to stay close, if not in one of the resorts.

  • Value Resorts are the cheapest on Disney property but you receive the same perks there as people staying in Deluxe resorts.

    Base tickets are tickets that allow admission for one person to one park per day. If you are only going to be there for 2 days I wouldn_t recommend a Hopper... there wouldn_t be enough time to make it worthwhile.

    Total = $542.50
    Fri and Sat night at Disney_s All-Star Music resort in a Standard Room
    2 - 2 day Magic Your Way tickets to the theme parks (1 park per person for 2 days each)

  • If you stay at the Pop it will cost $100 most each night.
    Hotel= $200 before taxes

    Food can be cheap if you bring breakfast items with you.
    Food= $50 a day for each person.

    You can be individual tickets for each park which cost about $75 each adult for one day pass or buy two day passes in one which could be a little cheaper. If you want a park hopper option added to your pass it could cost up to $50 more per persons ticket. This allows you to bounce between all four the Disney parks as you feel like it.
    Tickets= Estimated at $200 a person

  • You can get single rooms at some of the Disney resorts for as low as $89 per night if you go in the off season. My favorite so far is Port Orleans, but I recommend you check out Pop Century if you_re looking for a good deal. All the hotels are really clean and nice. All resort guests have free access to buses that will take you pretty much anywhere on the Disney property for free. You also park for free as a resort guest. If you stay off the Disney property you have to pay $14 to park every day.

    A basic adult ticket for one park for the whole day is $85. You do get a small price break for multi-day passes. You can add park hopper to that (you can go to multiple parks) or the water park option to the base ticket for $52. I suggest you do neither of these things. You can stay at the same park all day and not do everything there, and water parks aren_t much fun in the winter.

    Meals inside the parks start at about $15 dollars per person, but they don_t care if you bring food in. Definitely bring your own water. A bottle of water is $3 at the parks. There are tons of restaurants right outside the Disney property that have better prices. And definitely go to Downtown Disney the day you get there. It_s not worth paying for a whole day at the parks if you check into your hotel at 3pm. Downtown Disney is free and there is a fireworks show every night.

  • You_re going at a good time. Hotels in Orlando are offering huge discounts right now because tourism was the first casualty of the bad economy. Try Hotwire and Priceline and I bet you can get a 3* near one of the parks for $40/night. You can buy passes (more expensive than a single ticket of course) that will get you into all parks owned by the same company (such as a pass to Disney/Epcot/MGM or a pass to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure). You can also buy passes that are good for multiple days, but it pays to shop around online for the best deals. Have fun!

  • well A lott of things determine the price, try this website;

    http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/

    fill out everything and there you go!! have fun at disney!!

  • GROW UP lol
  • Are all traffic signals in Florida eventually going to be replaced?|195519

    I live in Tampa and most of the traffic signals here hang from wires. I know it_s petty, but I can_t stand it, it_s just so ugly! In other parts of the state they_ve been putting the new black ones up on poles, so does anyone know if they_re going to be doing that state wide or is it only in certain communities? And why the hell did they start hanging them from wires in the first place?

  • Here in Orlando they usually just have it at busy intersections and nice streets. Its probably their goal to make it all like that but the wire thing is cheaper and does the job but I think they are ugly also.
  • How can i find an email address of someone i know in arroyo grande California?|134869

    i only have an old postal address,and im on the other side of the world.

  • Try
    http://www.people-info.info
    ,it can help you after you submit the person_s name, this site has the largest email search database, it can help you find what you want, just have a try,it indeed works.
    Good luck!:)

  • Write them and ask for it....I am unaware of any e-mail directory like a phone book...

  • you can do a reverse address search to try and find their current phone number but to get an email address, you would need to ask them directly.
    Good luck!

  • why you don_t try sending a letter to that old postal address?? Maybe you contact directly with this person. It_s too dificult almost impossible that you can find an e-mail address from this person..i think you should do that
    Good Luck!
