Have you been to most of the shopping centers, neighborhoods and major streets within 20 miles of your home?|151948

I am constantly amazed how many people have no knowledge of the community they live in. I talk to people all the time who have never been to the suburban community next to them. Or been to the major mall just down the road or even heard of the town next to theirs. People are so isolated and unknowing about the local communities near where they live.

How about you. Have you visited the towns near by where you live? Have you seen the local area outside of your normal shopping and work environments?

  • Mandatory here, rural living demands great travel distances to acquire anything. Nearest mall is 45 minutes away.
  • Can anyone recommend a good camp grounds on the Guadalupe River?|128161

Just me and the guys for a weekend of tubin and drinkin. The websites advertised on google aren_t very informative about the actual campsites. Don_t want to be right on top of other campers and would like some shade.Any help would be great!

  • You do know that the Guadalupe River is horribly low due to the drought, right? I don_t know how good your tubing experience is going to be...

You don_t say where you_re coming from, or how far you want to drive. If you_re trying to stay close to a town, then one of the campsites in New Braunfels will probably be your best bet. They all look about the same, so basically pick one.

The Landa RV _ Campground is on the Comal River, and is nice.

If you want to be a bit more in the country, check out Leisure Camp at Fentress, on the San Marcos River. It_s a very popular spot.

Finally, there_s the Guadalupe River State Park. The river is nice through there, but it_s likely to be a bit crowded on the weekends, and _drinkin__ will have to be discreet.

Speaking of which, before you decide to go to New Braunfels, check all their new rules regarding _drinkin__ on the Guadalupe River!
  • How hard is it to find parking at Madison Square Garden?|128935

I am attending a concert tomorrow , and i plan on showing up 3-4 hrs early to find a parking spot Etc...I was wondering if i will be fine finding a parking spot or if i should be safe and buy a pre-paid parking pass?

  • 3-4 hrs early? u should be fine.
  • Does anyone know of an apartment complex that rents four bedroom apartments in Spring, Texas?|150588

We are relocating there this summer and I can_t seem to find anything bigger than a three bedroom. Thanks!

  • honestly the only place you will find 4 bedroom apts is in the projects. and you dont want to live there, trust. they dont really have nice 4 bedroom apts here. u will be better off renting a house. try har.com. good luck

  • You might try a house rental instead.

Most (but not all) properties do NOT have four bedroom apartments anywhere. This is primarily because it is easier to split that into two two-bedroom apartments and charge a proportionally higher rent. There are not many in the area, much less in Spring.

  • I have a 4 bedroom but I_m in Houston. I would try a house out there.

  • Have you tried looking for a 4 bedroom home to rent? Or is there a reason you_re specifically looking for an apartment? I_ve never seen or heard of anyone having a 4 bdrm apt, but that doesn_t mean they don_t exist but I suspect if they do, it_ll be more difficult to come by. I_ve also had great success looking on www.craigslist.com to find and to offer housing. Additionally, you may want to employ an apartment locator. Many of them work for free for you and get a cut from the apartment complex for finding them tenants. Good luck.
