What are the good and bad neighborhoods in Joliet Illinois?|130008

I_m moving to Joliet Illinois and looking to rent an apartment (not a flat) in a safe and quite area. I_m totally unfamiliar with the city. Does anyone know the good nieghborhoods vs. bad ones? Please include some street names so I can mark it on a map. Thanks to anyone who helps!

  • Most of Joliet is ghetto especially downtown and the east side. The west side by the mall is probably the nicest area.
  • How long could it take to send a mail from San Antonio to New Orleans?|131075

I have to send this important letter to New Orleans in time before Aug. 22. How long will the mail takes to there and back considering a 2 day processing time as well as New Orleans in it_s current condition.

  • It should take 2 or 3 days at the most each way....maybe add a day for the damage. Plenty of time.

  • 13 hrs by car

  • You could send it 3 day priority and you can also add a signature card so that you know it will have to be signed for. It_s a little more expensive, but well worth the extra money so that you know it was received.
  • What is the best method to get from Chicago Union Station to 200 N. La Salle St?|104411

I am starting a new job in Chicago at 200 N. La Salle Street. I_ll be arriving at Chicago Union Station each morning around 8 am and wondering what the best method is to get to the office from there: walking, by El, by bus, or by taxi?

  • Just outside of Union Station is a bus stop for the 156 bus. It_ll run right down Lasalle and you can get off at Lake st. About a 5 minute bus ride for $2 (have exact change).

Or if you_re in a hurry its a $5 cab ride.

if you ask for directions on the street tell people you_re going to the Thompson Center.

  • I would walk. It_s not that far.

  • it_s only a mile so why not walk?

  • Walk to the #156 at the corner near the sears tower at wacker and adams.
