What hotel is the best, at a reasonable price to stay in on myrtle beach?|178474

I have been looking at hotels for days to stay in when we go to myrtle beach and I cant decide which ones are the best at a reasonable price! My husband and I are going for the first time for our 1 yr wedding anniversary! Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you!

  • there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you great hotels and best prices available. just go to BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it_s very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

  • You forgot San Antonio.
  • What are a few of the quietest cities in the United States that still have things to do for fun?|137594

My husband and I currently reside in the Atlanta area, but we are looking to move to a more quiet area. However, we don_t want to move to an area where there is nothing to do. We_re not looking to live on a farm! :-) Just a city where there is not a lot of violence and/or traffic. I would love to hear any and all suggestions. Even if you_re not sure about a city, but you_ve heard good things about it, let me know. I_ll research it. Thanks for all of your help!

  • Louisville, Kentucky.
Every year we have Derby Festival which is 4-5 weeks of fun, but at its worst, traffic here is never a sixteenth as bad as in Atlanta. There is a Six Flags here if you have kids and like amusement parks. We have first rate theatre here with plenty of nationally know performances as well as an internationally known drama festival. We have symphony, ballet, a good university with a nice art musuem. We have great college sports at U of L and the Louisville Sluggers. Shopping is excellent and commutes easy. Schools are pretty good too. Good luck in your search!

  • Try Madison, WI. My wife and I just relocated a few months ago and we love it. It_s a college town so plenty of sports, Wisconsin Dells is less than an hour away, good jobs and the cost of living is resonable. NO TRAFFIC!!! (well people here thinks it sucks but coming from a big city it is not that bad) Very little crime. There was a shooting in Madison a few weeks ago but it was only the 2nd all year. I think in Atlanta you get about 2 a day. Lot_s of state parks near by. And is you get a big city itch, Chicago is a short 2.5 hour drive.

  • santa fe, NM is where i live and its a nice city thats great to have a family and just be at home. its a wonderful place with tons of events and historic museums

  • Farmington, Missouri. It_s not a big city, but it has plenty to do, lots of jobs, and still has a small town feel to it. and despite the name there are actually very few farms in the area. it_s surrounded by beautiful mountains and everyone is friendly.
  • What date do people usually start registering for San Diego Comicon?|103109

I could register immediately, but since I_m going with a group and things could change, I_d rather wait until the last _safe second_ (which could be months in advance, obviously. I was thinking April/May, is it safe to say there will still be plenty of room in hotels and at the con itself?

  • Hotel registration is the priority.
There are only 9,800 rooms within a 1.5 mile radius of the San Diego Convention Center and Comic-Con is only allocated 6,100 rooms in our block, mainly in this radius, for 125,000 attendees over 4 days.

  • Early as possible LIKE NOW. you get the best deal on 3 days passes and those sell out quickly also get a hotel now too the earlier the better You also might get the best deals if u get it early. Try to get a place in down town area near the convention center area so you can just walk to the con, If pricing is too expensive there try Hotel Circle in Mission Valley. There is a trolley center near there so if u get a room there you can just take the Trolley to the Con

  • Is it safe to wait? Absolutely not.

The Con sold out last year, MONTHS in advance. If you didn_t order online by February, you were out of luck.

I_m trying to get my hotel now - some hotels don_t take reservations more than 9 months in advance, but the earlier the better where Comic-Con is concerned.

I recommend that you make a reservation for yourself, ASAP, with the con and with a hotel. But ask about the hotel_s cancellation policy - some hotels will let you change or cancel up until 30 or 60 days before your stay, with no charge or penalties. That way if you get a better deal with your group, you can cancel your individual room. But it_s better to have it early than miss out completely.

2 years ago, in addition to Comic-Con, there was a preseason Chargers event, the Padres had a winning record, and American Idol was holding auditions in town, all at the same time. Good luck finding a hotel with all that going on.
