Can a Canadian citizen take an oxygen cylinder accross the US border, by car, for medical use?|148381

My mother needs to use oxygen now and wants to travel to Florida. Is she allowed to take an oxygen cylinder accross the US border?

  • I am sure she is. She will probably need more than one for the trip and visit. She needs to talk to the local company that supplies her oxygen. They have surely dealt with this before. They can give her contact info for companies they work with in the U.S. so she can call them for service there.
  • How Can I rent a train for 200 to travel from Miami to Atlanta?|103759

I need a group of 200 people to travel from Miami to Atlanta on June of 2009? I tried to charter a plane and motor coaches but they are expensive is it possible to rent a train?

  • You can rule out Amtrak. The only train route they operate that stops in Atlanta goes from Washington to New Orleans, and doesn_t otherwise connect with a train to Miami.

I don_t think you want your guests to first travel up to the northeast before being able to travel to Atlanta.

Typically, the least expensive option is a bus. You may want to shop around a bit with various bus charter companies and see if you can get a better quote.

  • Contact Amtrack and Let them know you will be a large group traveling together. They will be helpful.
  • How do you get to Yankee Stadium on the train from Weehawken?|125350

I_m going to the Yank-Royals game this afternoon and I need to take the train. I_ve never done that from Jersey - anyone know the route? Thanks

  • Avoid driving there. On game days, there is A LOT of traffic heading to the stadium. If you can take a bus or train to the NY Port Authority, you can then take the _S_ (shuttle) train to the East Side of 42nd Street and then take the _4_ train up to the Bronx. The stop is called _Yankee Stadium_

  • Rather than train or bus, or subway, ferry is your best choice.

New York Waterway operates Yankees Clipper from either Hoboken/NJT Terminal or Port Imperial if you don_t feel like to go to Manhattan.
Yankees Clipper is hassle free with no traffic to deal with.

  • Nj transit to Penn Station, then make your way to the B or D lines that will lead you right to the stadium.
  • How much would a taxi cost for about 32 miles in the Philly area?|138350

i live in the suburbs and i want to get to camden.
is it even possible to get a taxi from there, and if so how much would it cost if its about 32 miles.

i NEED to get to warped tour.

  • Did you try

    ?

  • Shoredude almost had it right.

Take the Septa Regional Rail train into Market East, but forgo the walk to the river from there. It_s about ten blocks from the station and if you_re unfamiliar with the city, you_ll probably wind up lost. Also the ferry is VERY slow, and not as dependable as you might like in terms of on-time.

Instead follow the signs inside Market East station to the PATCO Hi-Speed-Line at 8th Street. You can reach it underground from the Market East station. There_s a PATCO station just across the river in Camden, a short walk from the concert center.

  • Consider $2.50 per mile, so you_re easily over $75.

Take the train into Philly and get off at Market East. Walk east on Market St. to Penn_s Landing and take the ferry over to Camden which will leave you off right by the Susquehanna Bank Center (formerly the Tweeter Center).

PS..There_s no way I_d ever think of a young woman walking the streets of Camden. It_s a few blocks walk and not into a nice neighborhood. So avoid the PATCO.

  • Don_t take a taxi to Camden, definitely take the high speed line. Google PATCO to get the exact fare, but I think it_ll be $4.50 round trip. Or you could pay between $40 and $50 for a cab. PATCO is great though, and drops you off right there, either Broadway or City Hall stop.

  • You better take a loan out.
