What are good drinks to order in the Vegas Casinos?|116987

This will be my 4th trip to Vegas, but while Im slotting I always just order the same drinks (Pina Colada, Tom Collins, and Margaritas) but I am bored of those already and would like to order something different but I do not know whats good in a casino. Any suggestions???

  • I LOVE trying new drinks. What I did was ask the servers in Vegas what their favorite drinks were, then ordered that from them. I ended up trying some really tasty (and sometimes weird) drinks that I can_t really remember the names of anymore..lol. Also, some casinos may have specials that you can_t find anywhere else. Ask your server if they have these where you are. Anyway, here are some drinks that I like that are pretty common that they should have in all the Vegas casinos:

    Mai Tai
    Tequila Sunrise
    Sex on the Beach
    Mojito
    Sangria
    Silver Cloud
    Bloody Mary
    Grasshopper
    Bellini
    Appletini

Btw...I swear I_m not an alcoholic...I just like to try something new whenever I_m in a restaurant/casino/bar. I mean, what_s the point of having the same thing over and over?

  • I am assuming you are not buying top shelf liquors and are talking about the free curtousy liquors provided by the casino to get you to lose all your money and not feel bad about it ? If so this means you are getting bored of low quality drinks using their generic liquors. However, I have found that the free Long Islands are not too bad if you can handle them. Anything with coke (rum..etc.) isnt a bad choice.

However if money isnt an issue specifically ask for top shelf liquors which will taste like the drinks you normally get on girls/guys night out at the local bar.

  • It all depends on how you are as a tipper. If you are cheap, stick to beer and shots, they can_s screw you on those. But if you are cheap and order a mixed drink you will wait forever and there won_t be much alcohol in the drink.

The trick is to order 2 drinks tip good and often.

  • How about a Cosmopolitan? My wife drinks those.

  • CORONAS for breakfast lunch and dinner.
  • Going to disney in orlando for two weeks, How much spending money do I need?|156339

I have this question before but there have been some changes. I need to pay for tips for 10 meals and lunch for 15 days for two people. We are going to all the parks. How much do i need we want to buy stuff to bring back but we are on benefits so it will be hard to save. How much do you think i need to save?

  • I do the Disney Candlelight Services in December, and I get free tickets, so I know a lot about the parks.

A meal at the Disney park is about $10 per meal, per person, drink included.

Unless you go to a fancier restaurant in the park , It is not necessary to tip at the parks.

Epcot and Magic Kingdom have the most to DO, ride wise. You_ll probably spend the WHOLE day at them. Hollywood Studios, my friend and I went through in like 3 hours, and we were bored. There is the tower of terror and rockin roller coaster and the toy story ride. Those are the most fun. Animal Kingdom is fun, but in the summer its HOT. The animals tend to get out of the sun, and they usually only come out in the morning, so get there early if you want to see them.

You might also look into packing sandwiches to take into the park to save you some major bucks. They allow backpacks, but they also have to be checked. So you might want to pack some water bottles to save you a good $3-4.

I would also stay at a Disney Resort, because Parking is $12 per day. And if you stay at a Disney Resort they shuttle you to the park or to the monorail station. Or you take a Disney Bus from Downtown Disney (free parking) to the Contemporary Resort for Magic Kingdom or Epcot... Monorail hopping :)

Pop Century resort is cheaper than most of the hotels in the area, and it is a Disney hotel, so they allow you to get on the bus and take you where you want to go.

Everything is very overpriced. So bring more than you think you will actually spend, plus if you have a visa, they have places to get money out at.

    Hope this helps.

  • It honestly depends! Me and my boyfriend are going in October, but we want to have the most amazing holiday we can have and do EVERYTHING and not have to worry about how much money we have, so we are taking over 2000 and that is for food, souvenirs and also going to Universal Studios, Busch Gardens and Seaworld. Oh and by the way, if you are planning on going to all the parks (Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Busch Gardens etc etc) The is something you can buy called a FlexiTicket plus, that allows you two weeks entry into all the parks for much less than if you were paying for them separately (:

  • Honey you can make Disney World really expensive or a little less. I_ve been five times and the first time we went we bought all of the pictures and little gimmicks they sold everywhere. The next time we went we made our own pictures and ate at their food courts which made it a cheaper trip. Whatever you have to spend it_s so worth the money. I was 50 years old before I could afford to go for the first time.

  • Perhaps you may want to shorten your vacation time. Orlando is one of the top tourist places in the States to visit. Cost really adds up. Especially if you_re planning to go to all the parks...I suggest staying @ a hotel that offers free perks such as continental breakfast, pools, free wifi, kitchen, etc...also, I recommend eating at places like McDonald_s, cafes. etc...Just to enter the park; the price is close to $80+ per person...it_s more costly when you eat inside the parks...

  • im taking my wife and 2 children on 15th september ive paid hotel and flight sports resort 2456 .tickets disney ultimate x3 adult X1 child and adult flex plus x3 plus 1 child cost 1348 and im taking 3000 spends and a car four 2 weeks 300 total cost 7104 its expensive

  • couple of hundred dollars, I took around $700 but only spent $300 I only stayed for 10days though

  • for residence, try:

    florida-villas.com

    i got a nice villa with a pool, a Jacuzzi, 4 rooms, 3 bathrooms 5 tv_s and it_s near everything for almost 120$ a day

  • Disney is really really really expensive!!!!! every extra gift is at least 3 times as much as you would think it is... no joke. meals are no different. sooo... yeah.

  • who can say....it depends on what you do and what you bring back no one can tell you how much.....

  • about 500 - 1000 maybe more depending
  • Is the area of Brooklyn surrounding the Halsey St J train safe to live in?|165679

Obviously this is an opinion-based question, but I_m looking at an apartment near bushwick _ hancock and I_m trying to do more research. There_s a lot of cheap places in that general area, and I just don_t know if that_s a good thing or a bad thing.

  • DON_T DO IT!

You are in Bushwick, bordering East New York, the ROUGHEST area in New York City!

Spend a little extra and find something else. This would be a NIGHTMARE for you to move into this area. Seriously.

  • no.

i wouldn_t live anywhere the J train runs, except for Williamsburg or well into Queens.

those places are cheap for a reason.

  • Bushwick is not the greatest neighborhood in Brooklyn....There is a reason why the rent is _cheap_ plus most of the apts are owned by slumlords and they do not take care of them....I would look in a different neighborhood then Bushwick try Bedsty

  • No. i would not go there

  • Bushwick and basically the whole area surrounding it in Brooklyn is creepy. It_s a very dangerous neighborhood.
  • What are fun things to do in San Francisco?|131886

I_m planning my friends 18th birthday in the City, and I need ideas.
Nothing like a strip club, just fun things to do in the City.
    Any ideas will be great.

  • I love dim sum at the Gold Palace in Chinatown! 644 Broadway -- get there early, though -- like at 11 a.m. for lunch. Then go right across the street to the pastry shop and get a dessert. Or rent the little cars that look like midget racers and zip around the city. They are called Go Tours or something like that. Take the trolly to Fisherman_s Wharf and walk down to Pier 39 to see the seal lions and cruise through all the shops on the pier. Go to the Haight, hang out in a coffee shop and watch all the hippie-wannabees. Go to the Ferry Building and buy cheese, bread and meat and then hang out in the park across the street. There is a TON of stuff to do!

  • Be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.
