My friend and I want to escape for just one weekend to Las Vegas.

We don_t have a ton of money so we would like to budget ourselves.

What would be the best hotel to stay at that is reasonably priced and nice to stay at.

Nothing like the Circus Circus, that is a terrible hotel.

It all depends on what you like. Most people like the strip but it_s more $$$. I always stay at the El Cortez

it_s downtown and I just drive to the nicer hotels for their ameneties; bars, food, etc., although the El Cortez has everything, it_s just a small place and a bit limited. But it is clean and comfortable. Check the website, I stayed there on a weeknight for $19 and was upgraded to a suite at no charge.

Like the previous respondent I also like the El Cortez, but it is more suitable to middle aged people. Your best bet is the Flamingo or Harrah_s for a reasonable location and a budget price.

Another alternative if you are young is to book a room at _terrible_s casino_ and hang out at Hard Rock.

Imperial Palace. It is great priced _ in the middle of the strip. Good hotel.

How much time are you going to really spend in your room on a weekend stay?? I know I do not stay much in the room _ can careless about the TV.

I love Maine. The people are friendly, its calm/easy going, and beautiful. I just hate the winter. Where would you recommand thats similar to Maine but not as cold?

Michigan is beautiful. it gets cold in the winter, but not as bad as Main.
