Looking for a location for a large family reunion that has access to a lake in the TN area?|190551

We are planning next yrs reunion (about 50 ppl). Looking at lake access in the TN, AR, MO, and surrounding states. Needs to accomodate all of us in the same location; cabins, tents, motorhomes, and be pet friendly.

  • Try the Pickwick Dam area in Tennessee. I don_t know a lot about it, but we had a small family reunion there several years ago. I believe the area would have all you need, and it was so beautiful there.
  • How old do you have to be in houston texas or just texas to get your belllybutton and nose pierced?|101166

How old do you have to be in houston texas or just texas to get your belllybutton and nose pierced?

  • 18.Some places will accept parental consent but do reserve the right to refuse service. It is really up to the business.

  • hey. i_m 17 and live in houston. i got belly button done just after my 16th birthday at electric chair. it_s not very far from the galleria. but i had to have consent

  • Would your parent actually sign a release form for this?

Think about it. Do you want to go through life like that? It may be considered cool when you are 14, but think ahead. Will that nose piercing be cool in ten years when you_re on a job interview? Probably not.

  • 18 years old

  • Jasmine, pretty name---pretty girl, don_t do it!

  • Hi there - Marquise Concierge _ Lifestyle Management, LLC - www.marquiseconcierge.com - has the answer for you:

Regardless of any local legislation being more lenient, the following is an appropriate minimum standards policy on piercing minors:

For any piercing of a minor, a parent or legal guardian must be present to sign a consent form. Proof positive, state issued photo identification is required from the legal guardian, and a bona fide form of identification from the minor. In the event the parent has a different last name and/or address from the child, court documentation is needed to prove the relationship, i.e., divorce papers, or a remarriage certificate.

Under no circumstances is it acceptable or appropriate for a piercer to perform piercing on the nipples or genitals of an individual under 18 years of age.

  • You have to be 18, but most shops will do it for you if your parents come with you and bring your birth certificate and sign a release form.
  • How do I visit a NYPD Station when in New York?|174504

Hi, I am going to New York on Holiday and would like to visit a NYPD station whilst there. I would love to actually speak to an officer and have a look around.
Does anyone have anyway of contacting them or are you a NYPD officer??
    Thanks very much.

  • While anyone can walk into a police station, you won_t get past the lobby unless you have official business that requires you to go further into the building. Police stations can be dangerous places for visitors, with criminals being walked around as they are processed. There_s also the possibility that a visitor might be up to no good--trying to grab a gun, rescue a prisoner, or other mischief.

Native_s suggestion of instead visiting the Police Museum is a good one.

  • Burn, it will be better if you just visit the New York City Police Museum, located at 100 Old Slip in Lower Manhattan. The museum is house inside an old police station. It is dedicated to celebrate the history of the nation_s largest police department.

I hope this information is very helpful.

    Good luck

  • Here is a website with a list of all of the Police Departments in New York.

Im sure its pretty easy. You will probably call and they will tell you what their visiting hours are.

Good luck, and hope you have fun.

  • Have a few drinks and then drive above the speed limit.

  • well.. there is the easy way.. get in trouble with the law, you_ll get to see everything!!!

  • Make a stupid mistake! JK! Just call them and see if they do tours... LOL! I doubt it though... Good luck!

  • easy one this. Just get yourself arrested

  • Where can we see a space shuttle launch from Kennedy Space Center in Orlando without a ticket?|100966

My girlfriend are going to Orlando for a week between December 1st and December 8th. We_d love to see the STS-120 Discovery launch on December 6th but it looks like they are sold out. Is their a place we can go to watch the launch without paying?

  • You can see it from anywhere in Central Florida. lol but if you want to get close you can really be on Coccoa Beach and really see it!

  • stand on the mainland or if you are lucky outside the fence . you should get a good view that way without paying even for parking

  • u can_t see it from orlando~~

  • You will want to try this park. It_s awesome, my friend and I traveled a few years ago to Florida and saw an STS launch. It was awesome from this location.

Have a blast (no pun intended).

  • You can_t see it from Orlando. Orlando is 60 miles west of Kennedy. I watched the last Discovery go up in Oct. From Orlando, take the 528 east towards Coco/Cape Canaveral. You will see lines and lines of cars parked on the side of the overpasses. You will be on the mainland but you will get a nice view I promiss. You will even feel the ground shake. You will see people who see to do this all the time, they bring thier chairs, coolers, radios and listen to the countdown. It is a nice area right along the causeway/water we watched the manatees play and even saw some dolphins. If you can go into the cruise/ports parking lot and park. We go their too late so we parked along the side (with everyone else) but actually it was worth it because we got out smoothly.

  • If you can_t get a launch pass I suggest you come to Titusville. Go east on
State Road 50 from I-95, to US-1. Go north on US-1 to the _Miracle City Mall_
at Harrison. Park somewhere north of this spot. Anywhere north along highway
1, or east (as far as you can) along highway 406 (402) is good (specifically
Sand Point Park), just as long as you can see the VAB and don_t have trees
blocking the view. If you can afford it, just pay the $10 to park in
someone_s yard along the river. Also you can try Jetty Park at Port Canaveral
(you will be south of the launch looking north). Space View Park claims to be
the best place to view Shuttle launches from Titusville

If the tickets are sold out, an alternate source is Central Florida Tours

    http://www.centralfloridatours.com/
They recently sold tickets for STS-114 for
$109 and seemed to have tickets for sale right up to the launch date. This
company picks you up and drops you off at your hotel in Orlando/Kissimee
(Disney World) area, and provides you with the same tickets you get from the
KSC Visitors Center. The commercial tour company has a more restrictive
cancellation and _relaunch_ policy than getting tickets direct from KSC
Visitors Center, and you don_t get a parking placard.
