Why is the weather in Orlando, Florida has always been a bad weather since june thru july?|157635

I_m planning on going to Disney World since I booked it in May and I_m leaving next week on the 17th of July, But the weather there hasn_t even change yet and it been the same since june already. I_m more happy to see more sun than dark cloud and thunderstorm.

  • Its always like that every year. Its called Hurricaine season. Every year from the end of may/beginning of june till mid september it rains everyday. usually thunderstorms. They usually come around 3 in the afternoon and clear up by 5 or 6. but sometimes they dont come at all sometimes they come all day. Its hard to predict. The summer is definately not the best time to plan a vacation to orlando... you might be a little disappointed when u cant do everything you want to do. If you are dont let that discourage you from coming back... next time i suggest comming around october-november (hurricaine season is over, still warm and and sunny)

  • This is typical weather throughout much of the Southeast during June and July. The sun heats the ground all day, and the humidity rises. This causes upwellings of air. Cooler air comes in, clouds form, build into thunderheads, and, _BAM_, you get afternoon and evening thunderstorms.
These storms usually last 2-4 hours at worst. So, go ahead and plan to enjoy hot, sunny days at Disney World. Plan to drink LOTS of water!

  • Not sure what you are talking about. The weather in florida always the same in the summer, with a risk of storms. But the sun is out most of the time. Often times the afternoon is when a passing t-storm hits. It never lasts long, and ussualy cools things off a little.

  • its been raining everyday because its hurricane season. Theres nothing u can do about it, just make sure u bring a umbrella.

  • I grew up in Orlando. An old man once told me that the weather there has been like that ever since they started shooting rockets at the moon (!).
  • What is a nice town in Montana to move to?|171116

I am planning to move in a year or so and I am thinking about relocating to Montana. I really want to move to a nice small town. I don_t want it to look trashy but I want it to be a beautiful place that is close to a somewhat big town. Anyone know a good place?

  • My boss said Missoula_s a good town.

  • Ask Hannah.

  • Billings
  • Any words of advice for a first-time visitor to Bricktown in Oklahoma City?|120393

We_re going to see Matchbox Twenty at the Ford Center at the first of March and want to know of any good restaurants to eat at before and a good bar and/or club to hit afterward. Thanks!

  • GO TO TOBY KEITH_S BAR AND GRILL OR ZIO_S, WHICH IS A REALLY GOOD ITALIAN RESTRAUNT. CITYWALK OR SKYY BAR ARE THE BEST CLUBS IN BRICKTOWN. DEPENDING WHAT KIND OF TIME YOU WANT TO HAVE, SKYY IS ALOT MORE CLASSY, CITYWALK IS GOOD IF YOU WANT TO PARTY. MY PERSONAL CHOICE IS CITYWALK, WE GO THERE ALMOST EVERY WEEKEND. IT IS FREE FOR LADIES UNTIL 10, SKYY IS $8 FOR EVERYONE, I BELIEVE.

  • What is a Bricktown?? Been to Tulsa before...... worst city ever! Oklahoma in all is a pretty boring state.
  • How many hours is it from Burbank to Artesia by car?|195277

How many hours is it from Burbank to Artesia by car? I need to know because I might be traveling there in January and I_m from Canada. Please answer!

  • It all depends on the day (and time of day). The distance is only about 30 miles if you take the 5 freeway (around 45 km?- sorry I don_t know the exact distance in kilometers). If you are traveling there on a weekday afternoon or even on a Saturday, I would allow at least 1 hour, maybe even 1 hr. 20 min. because the 5 fwy. is usually packed, especially going through downtown Los Angeles.
Otherwise, I don_t think it should take more than 45 minutes.

Another option would be to take the 134 East to the 210 East to 605 South to 91 East. This route is at least 10 miles longer, but you do avoid going through downtown Los Angeles.

    Good luck!

  • Totally depends on traffic. Everything in LA depends on traffic. Just DON_T drive from 7-9 am and 3-7 pm on the freeways. Avoid it at all costs: you will be stuck in the most annoying parking lot ever!
  • When is the best time to visit USA?|104909

We are planning to visit Disneyland in Florida? What other places can you suggest? We are family of four (w/ a 4 and a 8 years old kids)

  • July and August are THE hottest months, and the lines are longest. If schools is not too much of an issue, I_d say go at the beginning of May through early June. The weather is perfect, and not too many tourists are around yet.

Budget friendly: The beaches in Orlando, FL are always fun for kids. There are also some places you can go where the kids can swim with manatees! Its really fun and quite safe.

Not-so-budget friendly: Universal Studios or Seaworld.

  • I would suggest that you visit in the spring or the early fall. If the summer you may get too hot with the children. I would suggest that you also visit the Smoky Mountains and the Gatlinburg area, the Nashville Tennessee area and for political reasons the Washington D.C. area. New York would also be a good place to see the Statue of Liberty, and ground Zero where the towers fell. Our country has so many beautiful areas that are vast and diverse. Utah and Arizona are beautiful as are California and states in between. I have been to almost all the states and found something beautiful and interesting in each and every one.I hope that you have an exciting but safe trip and let us know how you like our country

  • obviously youll never be able to see everything no mattwe how long your in the states. Small tip though, DisneyLAND is in california, DisneyWORLD is in Florida. The time of year you visit depends on what other activities you want to do. Skiing, Snowboarding, etc obviously come in winter. you can still visit Disney during winter because of the location, its warm where either are. I suggest Washington DC if your in to history. Dinsey though can take up a lot of time easy.

  • well it depends on which state, and theres the north and south, if your going to visit the north side i would choose summer but if your visiting the south i would choose spring. I live in Texas and I visit Oregon and Washington every year so I would know.

  • Christmas time at Disneyland is great. Otherwise, anytime between October and March is best in my opinion. As for the U.S.A. in general, anytime is a good time. It depends on your interests and the time of year.

  • just be careful in florida, their have been alot of tourist being hurt in florida , stay out of the rough parts
  • When do the schools go back in Sept 2009?|186095

We are planning a trip to Southern California and were wondering when the schools will be back so that we can plan our visits to the theme parks around this (hoping for slightly less crowds!) Thanks for your time.

  • It depends on the school. Some start as early as mid august. But by the 2nd week in september you should be pretty safe.

  • september the first, you can check it here
