What are some things to stop and see on the way to chicago, travelling from Minnesota?|141353

I_m taking a roadtrip to chicago this week, and i_m looking for some thigns to stop and see along the way. travelling from the MSP area.

  • Stop at the Dells, Madison, and Milwaukee. Lots to see at these areas.
  • How I can get discount tickets to the Georgia Aquarium?|117778

My daughter_s birthday is on the 27th of July. We live in a small, boring city so I would like to take her and four of her friends to the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta for her birthday. Needless to say this trip can be expensive. Any suggestions? Thanks a bunch. My daughter has had a rough year. This would be a great treat for her.

  • I agree with the first poster. However, there are exceptions to this rule: any day of the week if you go 1 hour and 15 minutes before closing, you can get in half price(about $13 per person). If your kids have student ID_s, they can get in half price Mon-Thurs after 3:45pm(however, they have blackout dates for this special, so I would call and find out). If you want to call, bypass all the crap by pressing _0_-you_ll get a live operator.

  • unfortunately unless you have a group of 20 or more you would not be able to get a discounted ticket to the Georgia aquarium.

    Ticket Prices are as follows:
    Ticket price: Adult - $29.50
    Child (age 3-12) - $22.00
    Senior (age 55 and up) - $25.50

  • Checkout this website

    sometime they have discounts.
  • What is the best way to travel between Ohare airport and Midway airport in Chicago?|159032

I will be arriving at O_hare Terminal 5with my wife and a 2-year-old and we need to get on connecting flight departing from Midway airport in Chicago. What is the best way? Is there a bus/public transportation? How much is a cab or a limo? How long will it take? Thank you.

  • Years ago their used to be a helicopter shuttle between the two airports.
There is still a shuttle service called Coach USA / Wisconsin.

This web link should give you some information.

There are also some limo services that will go between the two airports, obviously a bit more expensive.
There is also public bus transportation, but I would not suggest it - especially since you have a small child with you.
    Good luck

  • Best solution is to take a taxi. If you book a car service, they typically require that you call them after you retrieve your bags. Although a car service is much nicer, that process can delay the transfer by about 10-15 minutes. Instead, just step outside to the taxi line and you should have a car within a much shorter wait. (By the way, always beware of any alleged _private drivers_ who solicit business in the airport or even outside -- it_s illegal).

Taxi will cost about $45, give or take, and you should be there in about 30-40 minutes (unless you_re traveling during rush hour and then plan for a good hour). They do charge an additional $1 per person. I wonder if they would actually charge for a 2 year old?

  • The best way to get there would be to just take a taxi cab. However, it will be about $45 and up, depending on what cab service you use. I know because I work at the Hilton Garden Inn right outside the airport, and we always recommend that our guests use Airport Taxi and Limo. Their phone number is 847-297-5556. You can also try calling their 800 number at 800-707-0380. They charge our guests a set rate of $45.

As for time planning, it takes 45 minutes with no traffic, and about an hour to an hour and a half if it_s rush hour, between 4-6pm.

    Best of luck :)

  • Depends upon how much time you have.
There is a bus that travels between the two airports $14 per person.
If you have more time you could try the cta ($2.5 per person). Take the blue line and transfer to the orange line at clark/lake. For this route, I would schedule 2 hrs of travel time. Not the fastest, but cheap.

  • If you travel with a baby, the safest way is to book a limo or a sedan with local chicago limo company, such as
    http://stretchlimochicago.com/
    .

The trip will cost you around $60 in black town car plus you order a car seat rental too for around $5 extra.

Check the following link to a bus line that runs between them

  • take a cab, it may take atleast an hour, but its the quickest way and least expensive, there is no train that goes out there
  • How long of a drive is it between San Diego and San Francisco?|130760

How long, roughly, would it take to drive from San Diego to San Francisco, and what route would be quickest?

  • It_s almost exactly 500 miles so with breaks I_d allow for 10 hours. Take the 5 north to the 580 then the 680 and over the Bay Bridge on the 80 and there you are.

Be sure to allow for traffic in LA.

  • 501 miles
    7hrs 40mins
    try Google Maps =)

  • About 7-9 hours depending on traffic.
  • How many hours is the difference between Minnesota and New York?|139724

New York is 1 hour ahead of Minnesota.

  • 1 hour
  • Where can I go to get some blood work done in san antonio?|141272

I never really been to the doctor and want to go get some blood work and I routine checkup.Im 22 and I do have insurance through blue cross/blue shield. Can someone recommend some place?

  • Texas Med Clinics (_Doc in the Box_) will accept your insurance, test your blood and provide a blood change if needed. They have discount coupons on their website.

  • Depending on you plan through Blue X Blue shield, which is widely accept, Labcorp and Quest will process bloodwork, but you need to have it ordered by a doctor. You should look for a primary care physician nd ask for a full physical with bloodwork. Blue X is accepted by all major hospitals so look at you plan to find a doctor. I really like Dr. Amy Thomas at Christus Santa Rosa in the Medical center.

  • Look on your insurance card for a customer service number. Call that and ask for a list of family practice doctors in your area that are accepting new patients and that are on your insurance plan.
