Are there any good sites for buying Disney Pins for cheap besides ebay?|159974

Or any stores? I am going to Disney World In December and I want to start trading but I have noticed they are pretty pricey on the disney site. Any suggestions?

  • Disney Pin Trading is an addiction... SEEK HELP. lol... um there are a few places, but just search in google Disneyana and you will get a lot of collectible sites.
  • How long will the lines be at Magic Mountain this weekend?|158133

My sister went on a friday this summer and didnt experience any long lines, do you think this weekend will have lots of long lines or not to long of lines?

  • Everything changed on a weekend, hon.

Your saving grace might be, howeve, that it_s going to also be really hot up there and anyone (like me) who doesn_t take the heat too well might stay home.

However, don_t count on it. It_s gonnabe crowded.

  • Gonna Be pretty crowded.
    I mean Magic Mountain+Summer+Weekend=Longg lines
  • My anniversary is in November. Any good traveling ideas to make it special?|143635

I live in in California, and would like to stay in this state. I am looking for something that will last a long weekend, and be romantic. Being that it will be in winter, I just don_t know where the best place to celebrate is.

  • Napa wine tour, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Monterey/Carmel, Santa Cruz - all swell and potentially romantic spots.

  • I hope you would consider Asia

  • What about a short cruise CARNIVAL fun ship cruises
call 1-866-455-8196 ext.86452 toll free of course - good luck
  • What is best way to get to Chicago Ohara from Millenium Park?|168645

I am taking train from University Park to Millenium Park, and need to get to O_Hara Airport, wondering the best way to go. Friday 10:30 am

  • Ugh.
Sometimes it seems like the people who answer this type of question exit the subway at the same place no matter where they_re going and have no clue about the layout of the streets in Chicago. I_m not saying they_re wrong, they_re just making you walk way more than you need to...

The Millennium Park Station is at Randolph _ Michigan. When you walk up the stairs you_ll be facing west, just keep walking. You_ll cross Wabash (loop up, that_s the elevated train), then State Street then you_ll run into Dearborn. Make a left on Dearborn and you_ll see about four Blue Line stops less than a half block down at Washington Street. Make sure you have $2 in cash as the CTA does not offer change.

If you need an elevator, there_s one at Clark _ Lake which is four blocks away from Millennium Park (only two more than Washington _ Dearborn). The Jackson _ Dearborn subway stop is eight city blocks away from Millennium Park, double the walking distance from Millennium Park and in the complete wrong direction.

  • It_s NOT _OHara_, not named after _Scarlett_, OK? It_s O_Hare O-H-A-R-E, named after a guy named Butch O_Hare who was a famous naval aviator from Chicago. BTW Midway airport is NOT _Midway_ between anything either, it is named after the Battle of Midway.

The cheapest way is the CTA Blueline train. There is also Continental Airport Express, which is a van service.

  • It takes about 45 minutes to get to Ohare on the blue line. There are numerous Blue Line entrances on Dearborn between VanBuren and Washington. They are really hard to miss. However, if you have a lot of luggage look for the elevator entrance near Jackson.

  • You should cross the street at Monroe on Michigan, and walk west to Dearborn. There will be a Subway Entrance named _Monroe_ It is the Blue Line and it will take you straight to the O_Hara Bus Terminal. GL =)

  • Take the CTA blue line...it goes right to the airport!! You can get on at Dearborn and Jackson or Dearborn and Monroe.

  • What is fun that my friends and I can do during the summer in Saint Louis?|132725

We just want something to do that would be fun, like today we went to Grant_s Farm then tomorrow we are going to the Zoo. What else is fun to do in Saint Louis?

  • There are tons of things to do in the STL area! Okay so you have done Grant_s Farm and the Zoo also try the History Museum (yep it can be cool), science center (the new super hero thing is great for all ages), and of course the City Museum (not a museum at all you can run and be a kid no matter what age you are, they have caves, HUGE slides and more check out their website!). Of course there is Six Flags and Raging Rivers which are in the area and can be a lot of fun. Can get expensive sometimes. Here are some other things to do in the area:
America_s Incredible Pizza Company, new I have never been there but, it is indoors they have go karts, mini golf and more. They have a website just google them.
Cahokia Mounds State Historic Site, if you have never been here it is way cool! Also free which is a good thing! They have a lot of specail events so you will want to check out their website. They have 1 or 2 Pow Wows a year which are really neat!
Circus Flora, went to this last year very cool not your average circus and pretty cheap here is what I found for 2007, again check their site:
St. Louis_ own intimate one-ring theatre circus, where no audience member is more than 40 ft. from the center of the ring. Performs every summer in the Grand Center arts and entertainment district. 2007 schedule, June 7 - 24.
Gateway Arch-Jefferson National Expansion Memorial, who could leave out the Arch! Even if you live here it is still cool to go see! I try to go once a year and I bet the views of the new stadium are really cool!
Go See the Cards Play, need not say more here!
We also have 2 minor league teams that are REALLY CHEAP to go too the most expensive ticket is like $8 and the cheapest like $4 also cheap drinks and eats. Check out the River City Rascals or the Gateway Grizzlies. There are a few day and early games. They have a ton of night games too!
Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum, this plave is cool! I did not even know we had a place like this hear. You can see all kinds of planes, learn more about flying and see planes that are being restored. Who knew we had this???
Kemp Auto Museum, if you like cars this place is for you, I had a good time walking around, not as much fun as the guys but, they do have some really cool cars here!
Lewis _ Clark State Historic Site, ok this is in IL but about 15-20 mins from STL very cool new just opened a few years ago and is free! They have a lot of hands on stuff here and I hate to say it but I did learn a lot. Very neat place.
Lone Elk Park, I just love going here, first of all they have wild elk and buffalo that roam the park. YOu will just be driving a long and bam there they are. They also have great programs throughout the summer and the Bird Sancutary people are usually there with some birds of pray. They give demos and all kinds of things. You can also hike, and do other things again free doesn_t get much better than that!
Meramec Caverns, okay this is a day trip but, wow it really is a lot of fun! Missouri has some really great caves, all of them that I have been to have been great! Meramec is fun and this year they are doing a flashlight tour which I bet is really cool! Well worth your money there are other things to do in the area around Meremac....good floating in the area! If you have not been to the cave you will be amazed!
Hey speaking of that take a day trip up to Hanibel there is a ton of stuff to do there, there is the lake, caves, Mark Twain stuff and more. Good place to get away and cheap!
Missouri Botanical Garden, if you have never been here it is really cool and there is something for everyone. They did a lot of updates to the place over the winter. They also have a lot of events that go on here so you will want to check out their webstie for more details.
Union Station is always fun, there are shops and resturants there. Plus the place has been wonderfully restored. If you go to customer service they will give you a self guided tour book that shows off different things in the station. Hard Rock Cafe is also located here which always has good food!
Wabash Frisco _ Pacific Steam Railway, if you have never done this it is a lot of fun for all ages. You get to take a 2 mile mini train trip around the river. The train is smaller than the zoo train, but a lot of fun! Really neat views of the river and the people that run it are very nice and give a great tour. Cost a whole $3 well worth it!
Well I hope this helps you, we have so much to do in the city and the surronding areas I could go on and on here is a great website that I use even though I live here to get more info. It has everything from resturants to attractions!

Hope this helps have a great summer!
  • What is there to do on New Years eve 2010 in the bay area that is not club involved and is cheap?|194627

I live in Milpitas and my girlfriend and I want to do something fun. We do not want to go to a club, and we do not want to spend that much. Maybe something that is less than $30 per person. We would also prefer something in the San Jose area. I wanted to watch fireworks but do not know of any places near us other than San Francisco, and we do not want to go that far.

  • Treasure Island or Emeryville pier
  • What is the closest beach to the Gaslamp Quarter in San Diego?|192537

I want to know which one is the closest beach and if there is one that has easy to get to transportation from the Gaslamp Quarter. I will have a vehicle but would rather walk to a bus/trolley/ferry and pay for those fees rather than pay for parking. Any information would help.

  • You have two choices for nearby beaches. First there is Shelter Island, which you can drive to (parking is free). There_s a sidewalk that runs along the length and park benches for a picnic lunch and a small beach area.

Second, is Coronado. You can take the ferry across to the island, but the beach is a bit of a hike from the ferry landing. If you drive across the Coronado bridge, you can park down the street from the beach and walk to it. It_s easier and it also means you_ll have the car with you afterward so you can explore the island a bit if you like. There are a couple of nice beaches on Coronado, but my favorites are the one right behind the Hotel Del Coronado (big and clean) and the one right right next to the bridge itself, you can see it when you come across.

  • The closest beach (and it_s a nice one) is Coronado. Parking can be a bit of a problem. If you want to enjoy lunch or brunch at at Hotel Del Coronado you can park in their lot for free if you get the parking validated.

It_s a couple of miles from the ferry landing to the beach or I_d suggest the ferry, which is a nice ride from downtown San Diego and only costs $3.25 each way. It_s a 15 minute ferry ride but then a long walk to the beach.

Ocean Beach isn_t too far and it has a free parking lot. You_ll find info, pictures, and directions to all of the San Diego beaches at this site:

  • Coronado is the closest beach to downtown. You can take the water taxi across the harbor and then a cab or bus to the beach. A car would be quicker.

  • Coronado
