What are the names of the hotels that are located on 6th street in Austin, TX?|122715

I cant remember which hotels are there and im trying to get information. Please help!

  • The Driskill Hotel and Book Hotel are located just off of 6th Street. Others nearby are the InterContinental Stephen F Austin Hotel?, Omni Hotel, Hilton Austin, and Courtyard Hotel.

    I hope this helps.

  • The only Hotel on Sixth st. is the Driskell. It has a great restaurant and quite a bit of history. Get the L.B.J. room, It is where he use to take his mistresses when he was alive.
  • How do I pass time on a 21 hour bus ride?|137611

My bestfriend and I would like to go to florida for spring break (broke college students) and I thought riding Grey Hound would be cheaper (which it was) but the bus ride would take 21 hours at the least. How can we pass time?

  • talk to your friend, listen to music, count cars by color, bring something to read, play a game, ask the tour guide irrelevant questions, take photos, sleep, poke the people who fell asleep with a long stick, talk with other passengers, make plans for the places you will visit, introspect, try to see how long you can stare at other passengers before they are notisably uncomfortable, call people or txt them, (if you can) log in to messenger or facebook, search for things on mystergoogle.com (and if you get a mission, go with it), record yourself talking and compare it to the way you hear your voice, prank calls, make up a _historical fact_ or strange memory about the place you_re at and share it with someone else in a serious tone (if the person catches you blame it on the information on wikipedia), or try answering questions on yahoo answers

  • Well at least you will have a friend with you and not be alone.
Take things like a DS system or iPod touch so you can play some games and listen to music, some embroidery floss to make friendship bracelets(even if you just end up giving or throwing them away later... it_s cheap entertainment and will keep you busy a few hours), maybe a few magazines. And I_d also suggest arranging your schedule before the long ride so that you are tired and can sleep a good amount of the trip.

  • Going with a best friend is definitely always better than going alone.

Heck, talking to each other would be fine too, just as long as you two have something to talk about. I suggest for you two to bring a set of cards to. There_s plenty of card games you two can play while on the bus. Maybe bring chess, checkers, etc. Although sitting side by side may be a bit hard, but you can always turn your bodies a bit to face each other.

If you two have phones, text other friends or call to converse with them too. Maybe bring some sort of game system so you can pass time.

  • OK`_ just for the purpose of having something to do on your ride !?! Here_s just ONE idea that me _ a few friends used to do while on the school bus to _ from school later after school on the way home !!!... Mention a favorite make of car !! As for me: I always or mostly picked the corvette !!! Now the idea was to spot as many of that kind of car we_d see on the streets _ or the high-way!?! _ ofcourse it was indicated by screaming out... _That_s my corvette_ !! lol. _ at times it be others that would want to join in !! So at times we could only shout out/claim a corvette only if it_s our favorite color !!!

  • Well if you don_t get car sick, you can read or play DS (if you like those). But if you want to do something together or you do get carsick, you can always share headphones and listen to music, or talk...and talk...and talk some more. My family always passes the time by playing those games almost every family has, like the ABC game or twenty questions or _I Spy_. If I was in college, I would definitely play the ABC game. lol

  • Play car games, read a book or magazine, play I spy, try to find a licence plate for each state as you drive, play punch buggy- each time you see a volzwagon beatle you say punch buggy, do cross word puzzles, word searches, do suduku, lots of stuff you can do. You can sleep, talk to each other, eat snacks, etc. Have fun.

  • i live in florida and we once took a trip to south carolina in a bus. now i know its alot shorter drive but still we played gameboys or whatver and listened to ipods , heck even a little reading. what i suggest most though is either a good game or book, something that will keep u interested the whole time. or you could just not sleep the night before and then sleep on the bus, we did that too

  • I_m going to haft to go with an iPod touch you can get on the internet (that is if the bus has free wifi) also you can put trait games on it listen to
music and watch movie tv shows and music videos. Hope this helps have fun on the trip.

  • I went to Florida with the High School Band this summer. It was a 24 hour bus ride to and from Florida. I listened to my Ipod and wrote a few chapters of my novel on the way down there. Writing and drawing helps to pass the time. If you_re really bored, take a nap.

  • Sleep, bring snacks, a portable gaming system, like PSP or DS, a music player is a must for me, cellphone, notepad and pen (doodle, play games like tic-tac-toe with your friend, etc.) make sure to charge everything.

  • Bring an iPod, itouch would be the best. Listening to music always helps pass time and if that dosent work you can always play a game or watch a movie.

  • Electronics is your answer. Ipod, entertaining phone, laptop. I dont recommend it but if you have school work you could easily finish it up. If you have no one sitting next to u stretch on the seat and take a nap

  • play the notebook game where you make a circle and keep adding things on to it to make a silly faces its a kinda a dumb game but its fun and passes time

  • Nintendo DS or a book.

  • hey get a PSP or get a portable dvd player

  • talk

  • lots of drugs and alcohol, LOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
