How can I keep my 3 amp; 5 yr old nieces entertained in Dallas?|138243

My nieces 5 yr and 3 yr old are visiting me in Dallas in May end for 10 days. I intend to take them on a small road trip to the Sea World, San Antonio for 2 days. Apart from that, can you give me ideas about how I can make them their trip educational and fun!

  • I am sure they would love Dinosaur Valley SP:

  • There are various indoor _play - gyms_ around, with all sorts of jumping, climbing things for kids that age. You can usually pay by the hour for them to play...... Call the local Chamber of Commerce (for Dallas, or whatever suburb you_re in) and ask if they have any activities now for kids to do ... Call your local library and see if they have story hours ..... There_s an indoor waterpark in Allen, and may be others around too.....Call the Heard Museum in McKinney and see what their activities are for May.....

  • Buy them coloring books with sea animal in the books then when you go Sea World, they can actully see in real life the animals they were coloring. and also take them to the Zoo, kids like seeing animals.

  • 3 and 5? well, have coloring books and crayons on hand...little kids arent cultural and educational they tend to be spoiled now days and they want things now!
  • What good ideas are there to do on memorial day with the family?|135462

Me and my family want to go somewhere fun instead of just staying in the house all day like going to the beach or Canoeing, any other ideas?

  • Go buy up a ready made picnic (like fried chicken etc) and hit the beach or one of the springs where the family can swim and all that...

  • see new Indiana Jones movie
  • What is a great city or township to live in near the Poconos with a school system?|148274

My mom is considering a move to the Poconos area and we_re looking for a great city or township that has a good school system and within commutable distance to NYC.

  • Well...NJ is high in taxes, but the further west on Rt 80 you go, makes the commute all that much longer.
Mt Olive has a great school system. Blairstown is good, other towns further East are good I am sure, but the further East you go, the more expensive to live...but people do it!

  • Maybe Marshalls Creek Pa
I_ve been there it_s beautiful, and not far from NY
