In Washington State where can you go to see small unsigned bands preform?|131366

My step-sister and I just want to go to where you can watch unsigned bands preform. It_s sort of like the Attic in Centerville, Ohio if any of you have been there. Where teens don_t have to pay alot to get in and experience new bands.

  • Just about every bar in Seattle. If you_re underage many venues have all ages shows. They just section off the bar area and only those that are 21 and older with ID can go up there. There_s tons of clubs in Seattle. Good ones for local bands include El Corazon, The Central, Doc Maynards, The Fenix Underground. Go to

    to look at schedules.

Never heard of the Attic and I don_t have any desire to go to Ohio. Too many Midwesterners!
  • Is it possible to change an amtrak ticket i bought with my student advantage discount?|129276

i bought a train ticket 3 days in advance and got the 15% discount. the problem is it_s for tomorrow and i wanted to leave later than i had anticipated. is it possible to change my ticket? do i just pay the difference if i do that?

  • Yes, tickets purchased with the Student Advantage discount are still eligible for exchange. And yes, if the train you_re changing it to is more expensive (prices typically rise as you get closer to the departure date), you_ll have to pay the difference.

  • The only way to find that out is to call AMtrak...no one here is going to know their policies on that...and you would still need to call them anyway. (1-800-872-7245)
  • What is the closest and cheapest hotel near Lackland Air Force Base?|164891

I_m going to see my husband graduate from Air Force Basic Training in a couple weeks. I would like to know which hotel/inn is the cheapest and closest to Lackland Air Force Base.

  • Go to bookme.com

  • We we_re just there to see my big brother graduate in december. I_m pretty sure the cheapest hotel we found was really close, I can_t remember the name but if you go to the AF website there are links on there for basic training graduation and there_s stuff about graduation and different hotels you can choose from that are close.

  • go to BookMe. You can compare prices on all the major travel sites from one location. It_s the only way you can guarantee the best deals for the best hotels for your money online.
  • How hard is it to get around Chicago with luggage?|116470

I_m looking to get from the Amtrak station to O-Hare and I have about 3 hours from when the train arrives to when the plane leaves. Is the regular train system an option when you have luggage? Does anyone have suggestions for how to pull this off?

  • Uhm, all of the CTA trains are running just fine, none of them are shut down at all. Some of the stations downtown and on the north side are being renovated so yeah, there are some slow sections but that doesn_t mean you should avoid them.

Look at it this way, it takes 45 minutes flat to get from downtown to O_Hare on the blue line, and it will cost you $2. You can walk from Union Station (where Amtrak drops off) to the Clinton blue line stop:
    http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d_hl=en_ge
The trains run about every ten minutes, so you won_t have to wait long for one to show up.
    OR
You can take a cab from Union Station to O_Hare which will take 45 minutes to an hour (maybe more depending on traffic/weather), and that will cost you about $40. You would be seriously wasting your money if you rented a car.
And don_t worry about your luggage, though the O_Hare branch of the blue line does make local stops, people totally expect to have people with luggage on that train at all hours of the day and night.

My advice, take the blue line. It_s $2, and it_s just as fast as driving. Prop your feet up on your luggage, read a book or listen to your iPod and O_Hare is the last stop. Besides, people from Chicago will think you_re a tool if you don_t take the public transportation.

  • Either rent a car Or take a taxicab from the AMTRAK station downtown. The L Trains have been slowed down and one line is completely out of service..Enjoy your stay!

  • I do this all the time when I have to fly out of O_Hare. Just learn how to pack light. One suit case and a backpack is all you need.

  • If you have more than one bag, I would recommend a cab
  • How big is the abercrombie and fitch store in NYC?|121147

Hey just wanna know what is the Abercrombie _ fitch store in NYC like?
How much of a mens collection do they have , do they have much of an accessory range for men also ?
Also whats the difference between A_C and Hollister Clothing quality/price wise??
    Thanks for your help

  • it_s hugeee !! it_s got like idk how many floors about 4 or fivee and each floor is like on mini store within it self i really don_t know about the me stuff cause i mean .. im not a guy but yeah it_s a really pretty store if your talking about the one near 58th cause i think that_s like a major one the other ones kinda like on a boardwalk that ones a lil smaller .. but yeah it_s a really cool stoore with guys outside .. and its not that crowded to like purchase stuff none of those really long lines :]

  • Hollister Co.,Abercrombie _ Fitch, abercrombie, and Gilly Hicks are all owned by the same company so technically they aren_t rivals and most dedicated shoppers know that Abercrombie _ Fitch and abercrombie are more NY glam wear, but Hollister is more CA surf wear, and Gilly Hicks is more of the underwear (or VS) version of them both (although they do sell clothes) Also, Hollister is aimed to sell their clothes to High Schoolers (the sizes are smaller, thus the price is cheaper) Abercrombie _ Fitch is aimed to sell their clothes to College aged kids (the sizes are bigger, thus the prices are bigger) abercrombie(note it_s not called Abercrombie Kids, just abercrombie) is aimed to sell their to preteens (same rule as Hollister) And Gilly Hicks is an undergarnet store, but it also sells clothes is aimed for College age (same rule as Abercrombie _ Fitch)

  • Don_t know too much about the men_s section but the store itself is 3 stories, very loud and very crowded. So I_m guessing there has to be a good selection of men_s clothes if the store is that big. I think that both Hollister and A_F are way over priced and usually the material they use to make the clothes never lasts.
