  • Whats something me and my friends can do in Kansas City tomorrow?|150708

We were gonna go to the zoo but her mom thinks its gonna rain? Also, we cant go to legends to shop bc were trying to save money for a concert trip in a few weeks.... Any ideals other than Worlds of Fun?

  • this isn_t really in KC..more like 30-40 minutes away, but you should go to Lawrence! It_s a really cool college town..has some nice restaurants and outdoor cafes. It_s pretty easy to get to!

you could also go to the Country Club Plaza and look around, even if you don_t want to shop. It_s just fun to walk around!

if you_re into museums, there_s the kemper modern art museum and the nelson atkins museum.

  • Got to Science City. Thats one of the funest places in Kansas City despite it_s lame name. I havent been in four years but I really wanna go back. Science city is in Union Station. Also, you could try Oceans of Fun. And that one girl who suggested go to Lawerence is wrong. There_s acctually a lot to do. And if theres nothing to do here, there sure as hell aint anything there.

  • well if no WOF... umm... adventure oasis. its cheaaaap and is fun. its a small waterpark on the corner of 291 and 23rd street its like 8 bucks for a resident and 10 for non resident of independence. its fun to just go and chill there. they have 3 slides, a pool(w/ diving board) a lazy river, umm a kid area if ur into that kinda thing. its fun! or if u dont wanna do that u can go mini golfing and ride go carts at cool crest on 40hwy by blue ridge blvd and the big walmart. hope i helped!

  • Union Station is alot of fun!

  • sleep
  • Why do most Israelis work in the malls when they come to America?|130721

I have noticed that there are a lot of Israelis that work in Keosks (i think thats how its spells) They are very aggressive when they approach consumers and are very good at selling but why at the malls of all places?

  • Now lets see...they are good at selling , and we go to the mall because......... lets stop and think about this .

  • bc they (we...=P teehee) are good at sellig and bc most of the little wagons\tables thingis or wtvr u wanna call it that u see along the malls are owned by israelis...

  • Interesting. There are 2 isralie girls working at my mall, who talk to me a lot.

  • Wow.
  • Which water park in orlando will be the least crowded in june and july?|106004

There are the two Disney_s water park (Blizzard Beach and typhoon Lagoon, Wet n_ Wild, and the new Sea world water park. We are planning to go to at least one and maybe 2.

I have no idea why am i asking this so early, but my cousin wanted to know.

    Thanks in advance!!!

  • whew! nothing like picking the hottest months! LOL
It will honestly be packed no matter where you go. Just take a look at the parks layouts and see which rides you like the most. I personally hate wet n wild and I LOVE Typhoon lagoon. I have a 9 yr old that is too timid for Blizzard Beach so we enjoy the lazy laid back feel of Typhoon Lagoon and love the shark tank there.
Take a cooler with you, lots of food and drinks too, or get a refillable mug.And...get there early to get some chairs to have later on in the day. Find a place in the shade, you_ll need it!!
It_s never too early to plan for Orlando!

  • NONE OF THEM

  • That time of the year, it_ll be about a tie actually. I used to live close to Orlando, in Lake Wales, by Donald Duck Orange Juice factory and Cypress Gardens.

  • You_d have to be insane to go to Disney in the summer. It_s wall-to-wall cranky parents with their twice as whiny kids, and everything is overpriced. NOT a fun experience.

  • Ummm sorry but NONE!!

  • Probably the water treatment plant, I mean, come on, it_s Orlando.

  • Wet n_ Wild.. youll probably have it to yourself

  • That new park Sea World is opening up, Aquatica, will be a real zoo, but they will all be bad.

  • none its effin orlando. esp in in the summr haha
  • How do I get from the Lax Airport to the Greyhound Bus station in Los Angeles?|102742

I need to get from the LAX Airport to the Greyhound Bus station to go to Reno,NV. Can somebody tell me a safe and cheap way? Because I certainly can_t afford a taxi.
    Thanks.

  • You should look online for cheap fares to Reno. Heck, I saw $39 fares to Seattle from LAX today.

  • i heard rumors that greyhound is going bankrupt so they wont have any buses to nowhere
a lot of their buses are no longer even operated by them but by a contractor
like Curreo, Vermont transit and TMNO buses
and the greyhound station in los angeles is the WORST and MOST dangerous place
to be in Los Angeles its located smack dab in the middle of SKID row!@
no taxi driver will take you there !
you would be just better off to fly from Lax to Reno
if you are already at Lax..
it would be a lot faster and safer too
if you could get a bus to reno
NOw if YOU have to get to greyhound
you would have to first take a lot C bus to the city bus center
then take Metro 439 to 7th and Firgora then on Flower and 6th take
a line 60 or 62 (this will take about 2 hours)
or you could take G bus to the Avattion station then the blue line to 7th strreet
then the line 60 cost is $5.00 (for a day pass) unles you would want to pay $1.25 on each mode of transit)
also note greyhound also has a stop in Hollywood

their buses are smelly the drivers don_t get lost etc
some driver don_t even speak english

  • Wow - the Greyhound station is in a rather bad part of Los Angeles near Alameda and 7th Street (on 7th Street).

The most convenient way to get to downtown LA (Union Station) is by the FlyAway Bus which is $5.

From there you will need to take a taxi but it is roughly a $6-$8 fare from Union Station to the Greyhound Station.

If you are a brave soul there is also the MTA bus service. I know the Metro Rapid Transit bus #760 (this is an express bus so the stops are less frequent) runs nearby and the MTA bus #60 also passes close by but do not know the hours these buses run. I don_t know the connecting bus routes but you could google _MTA Los Angeles_. I also don_t know what MTA bus fares are either.

    Good luck.

  • Los Angeles is a long way from Reno. Why didn_t you fly into Sacramento or San Francisco or connect to Reno? It will take you overnight to get there by Greyhound because LAX is out of the way for the Greyhound stations which are in Santa Monica and Hollywood. If you get to downtown Los Angeles, you could take the train to Reno. It is probably cheaper to fly.

  • From the airport, take the Union Station Flyaway shuttle. It will drop you off at Union Station in downtown. From there you can take DASH bus B to Olive/6th, and then Metro bus 18 to Alameda Street, or you can just take a taxi.

  • Search the web for shuttles LAX and look for one going downtown. Try another search for shuttle or bus LAX to Greyhound Los Angeles. If nothing found, ask at the airport. The Skycaps will know.
  • How easily is it to take the metro from Chicago Ohare to Union Station?|116035

I will have several suitcases with no help. I will need a cart or something. Is it easy access on and off, from the airport right into Union Station?

  • Not really. The Metra Line that goes by O_Hare doesn_t have a lot of service just yet, since it_s under expansion. Also, you_d have to take the ATS system at O_Hare (AKA the People Mover), then take a shuttle bus to get to the O_Hare Transfer station. And if you need this for a weekend, it doesn_t run then.

This might be almost as tough, but it_s a possible alternative. Take the Blue Line _L_ from O_Hare (underneath Terminal 2) to the Clark/Lake Stop. It has an elevator, which is why I recommend that stop instead of Monroe or Washington. From there, it_s about a 1 mile and change taxi ride over to Union Station. A little more price-wise, but you can get it at any time, which you can_t do with the Metra.

  • your better off taking the blue line and getting off on Clinton go to
    http://www.rtachicago.com/
    for schedule
  • What will I need to cross into the US from Canada by car?|115344

There will 3 of us travelling: two of us are 18, and one is 17. None of us have passports, but we do have birth certificates and government-issued ID. The one concern I have is with the 17 year old whose parents are divorced and share custody of her. What kind of questions will be asked? We_re going to Syracuse and we_ll be staying at a motel.

  • As long as all of you have the required documentation you_re good to go.

    Land/Sea Travel
    Canadian Citizens
Beginning January 31, 2008, the United States will end the practice of accepting oral declarations of citizenship at the border.
?Canadian citizens ages 19 and older must present documentation that proves both identity and citizenship. Identification documents must include a photo, name and date of birth.
?Children ages 18 and under will only be required to present proof of citizenship, such as a birth certificate.

  • Chances are they will just ask u all ur citzen ship, where you going and wut ur bringing in(liqour, smokes, weapons)All u need to cross is wut u said there a birth certficate and id and that is good enough. The 17 year is good they will not care about who has custody or any of that.I have been crossing by myself sence i was 16 and it is easy as 1,2,3.U might even get some custom agents who will ask u ur citzen ship and thats all and most of them are very easy going like that.I hope this helps a little and i know it seems stressful but u have nuthin to worry about crossing is easy.(And know u do not need ur passport in spite of wut the others say u only need a passport for crossing into canada by airline nothing else.

  • Thats good enough. I just went to Montreal and back to NYC. My passport was out of date and they didn_t even notice. Even though all you need is a birth cert. About the ques they_ll ask him I dunno. I am pretty sure you_ll be good.

  • Lafeefan gave you the best information.

  • You will need a passport. Don_t go without it or you won_t be allowed back into Canada!

  • As of July 2008, you now need a passport to get back into the US.
  • What is the best nightclub in Las Vegas and why?|113254

I am planning my first trip to Vegas! So what do you think is the best nighclub and why? Is it the dancing, the clientele, the drinks....

  • Ghost Bar at the Palms is really great because of the view (Top floor with outdoor area). I persoanlly love Light at the Bellagio. Good party atmosphere. Tabu at the MGM Grand is also really fun. As it Tao at the Venetian. Of them all, I like Light the most, but I could be biased as I had a GREAT time there the last few times. One way or the other, I suggest getting a private table at any club. It may cost a lot, but it is SOOOOOO worth it in the end.

  • Las Vegas is known as an adult playground and with its many new nightclubs, dance clubs and ultra-lounges from Body English at the Hard Rock to the Voodoo Lounge atop the Rio, Vegas provides both the conservative and the liberal-minded a fine mix of clubs to choose from...

Las Vegas clubs are classy, especially the exquisite ultra-lounges and cigar bars.

For those with high-energy and a good flow of adrenaline, clubs such as Rain at the Palms and Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay among many others are sure bets for a real hopping Vegas time...

  • PURE at Caesars...the best in my opinion, sexy people, atmosphere, tunes
LIGHT at the Bellagio...not bad, sometimes the clientele is a little shady
BODY ENGLISH at Hard Rock...great time, good tunes
    TAO at Venetian...fun, sexy people
GHOSTBAR...fun, gotta check it out b/c of the view. sexy people too

  • o.p.m forum shops cesar palace.its got great music and atmosphere :)

  • Well every night is a little different here. You might want to ask around i really dont go clubbing anymore but to what i remember
Pure is really cool i think its happening on Tues or Thursdays Tao is nice thats happening on Thursday for sure Jet is really cool Mix and , Body English i think that a club is a club as long as you have a good time the only club i donlt like is OPM that gets really ghetto and the only draw back to all of these clubs is that drinks are a grip

  • Tryst at Wynn has a great sound system, environment, and people scene.
