How long does a baseball game last?|116002

I am going to the Giants game on 9/8 at 1pm and does anyone know how long the game it_s going to last? I am planning a dinner after and I want to make sure we have enough time for the game, check out the dugout store, head back to hotel in SF downtown and get ready for a nice dinner.
Thanks!

  • The average is about 3 hours. If it_s a high scoring game it can be a little longer due to more activity and pitching changes. I don_t know how much travel time you need but I would block off four hours. Have fun!

  • Agreed, it usually lasts about three hours. However, it lasts until somebody wins, and extra innings are always a possibility. Some years ago I was at a 16-inning Giants game.

  • I disagree. A quick inning takes about 15 minutes. There are 9 of them. A quick game would be over two hours. A typical game will be closer to 3 hours. If it goes into extra innings it might go longer.

  • It takes about 3 hours. It_ll go longer if the game goes into extra innings.

  • anywhere from 2 - 4 hours. Most giants games are usually done by 4-ish. But it entirely depends on the game. The yankees for example are known for taking 4+ hours. The A_s on the other hand have a pitcher who routinely goes only 2 hours.

So I would plan on say 3 hours for good average and you should be done by 4 or 4:30.

  • the average ball game will last about 2 hours unless they go into extra innings
  • How much could an single bedroom apartment go for in this area?|114100

Okay, so next year I plan on moving out. And attending school. In the Tampa area, would it be hard to find an inexpensive apartment? that a student could actually afford?
I do not want to dorm at all. And I know with a job I could manage. So anyway, I just want to know. How much could an apartment go for? And would it be hard?

  • Try to find an apartment really close by the school. Because people tend to rent them cheaper there, since they know it_s for a student. If you try elsewhere, it can be really expensive. If it_s in the Tampa area, I_d imagine rent could go for $1000+ if you are lucky. You also should find a place where utilities are included. Usually heat and hot water are included with rent. Other utilities you_d have to pay are electricity and gas. If you have a car, that_s another expense. Food is another.

Having your own apartment isn_t easy. I suggest you find a place where you can share the rent with others, but have your own room. Doing it on your own is really difficult. And for a student to do it on their own, you need to really have a good paying job. It_s not easy Nicky. If you really want to go for it, don_t do it alone.

  • it wud probly be 780 the lowest
  • What is the cheapest way from Pittsburgh PA to Denver CO?|180095

We are planning to visit family the weekend of April 24 through the 26th, but we are trying to do it on a budget. I_ve tried to figure it out on my own but having a hard time doing so, there are 2 adults and a 2 year old, we are not against flying, driving, train ride...

  • I would try Southwest Airlines.

  • I would definitely recommend flying. I work in the travel industry, and I always refer my clients and my friends to the website BookMe. You can compare prices on all the major travel websites and save lots of money. Good luck, and check out the link below.

  • The cheapest way for three people is to drive. However, if you cannot do that it is either Amtrak or flying.

  • IF YOU ONLY HAVE 24,25 _26, 3 days you will have to fly, no other option.
  • Anyone have any advice or leads for villas owners or services for planning a trip to Disney?|192510

I am planning a family trip to Disney (need multiple homes) and I wanted to know if anyone has had an experience with a great owner or a great company to work with!

    Thanks!

  • We had 3 villas on the same street at Hamilton_s Reserve which is about 10 minutes from Disney. The villas were a good standard although we were a big group and felt a bit crowded - If we did it again I would get 4 houses instead of 3.

The website we used is based in the UK but this would work in your favour at the moment as the British Pound is so weak against the Dollar.

To call the UK you dial 001 44 then the listed number missing off the first zero. The time difference is 5 hours ahead in the UK

  • I go every year from the UK and the best villa by far is;

Im going back in June, I love it!
    Have fun!

  • Have stayed with a few, and my favorite is

I have had nothing but great experiences with them. I found them because they are endorsed by

  • What is there to do on the Wildwood NJ boardwalk?|132259

I will be visiting for the day, and would like to know if there are any cool things that should not be missed. Also, where are the best places to eat? I will have three children with me, ages 9 months, 7yrs, and 12 yrs old. So, I need a few indoor activities to keep baby cool.

  • The boardwalk is incredible. Check out Mariner_s Landing and Morey_s Pier if you are looking for stuff for your kids to do.

For food, I do not remember the name of the restaurant [found it...Olympic Flame Restaurant, 4100 Boardwalk
Wildwood, NJ 08260, (609) 522-2202] on the corner of Schellenger Avenue/Boardwalk (across from Mariner_s Landing) that is a great place for standard _merican foods. They have red booths if that helps a bit.

Avoid Mack_s Pizza (bad heartburn). Ride the tramcars (we like to get on at walk to one end of the boardwalk and then ride it back easier on the little one_s legs).
