How do you get from Fremont Bart Station to The Fremont Hub using public transportation?|168620

How do you get from Fremont Bart Station to The Fremont Hub using public transportation? If so, please list them. I was wondering if this was possible! Thanks and have a great day!

  • Catch the AC bus 212 on Civic Center Drive and Bart Way. Get off at Fremont and Beacon Avenue (a 5 minute ride). Walk over to the Hub (a 3 minute walk).
  • Is there any radio station in Milwaukee where you can listen to the airport or anything like that?|149115

And is there any website where you can see exactly where a plane is?

  • 1) You_ll need a special radio for airport / airline bands. Call the
    airport for the frequencies used.

    2) For flight status:

  • The LiveATC website at http://www.liveatc.net has audio feeds from many airports including Oshkosh and Madison, but not Milwaukee currently.

You can check the position of a flight using numerous websites, my favorite is FlightAware, at http://flightaware.com

  • yes there is, I`m not sure how far away you are from the airport because it has a limited signal. I think it`s around 1610 am. As far a a website? I`d check with the FAA for that

  • no. i think thats against the law to be snooping around the faa_s airwaves. get a police scanner! lol
  • Where is a great place to vacation for a week in early April in the US?|149513

We have nine days total, and we can afford a _moderately nice_ vacation. We live in Indiana, so we want to be somewhere warm. Any suggestions?

  • Okay, well I once lived in Indiana, Kokomo and Indy...so I can understand wanting warmer weather. It depends on what you like. If you want a private place to stay there are awesome cabins in the mountains near water in Northern Georgia that are wonderfully affordable. Also in Florida on the coast you can find private, very affordable and nice, villas for you and your family or whomever you are taking. Also Tybee Island in Georgia is fairly affordable if you look in the right places and nice. Not too far to drive either or fly. So you have the beach or woods with this answer. And believe me, I mean affordable. I_m cheap and thrifty so....

If you are talking out of the United States many places in Mexico are pretty affordable. I_ve included some links to some nice and not so pricey places.

I_ve left a couple of links if interested in cabins or Tybee Island in Georgia.

  • there are some great resourts in arizona and palm springs if you like golf or massages. There is a great place I went on my anniversary in La Jolla (northern san diego), CA called the Estancia. It_s kid friendly too, they have _dive-in movies poolside. a week in vegas is too much.

  • Aruba or Puerto Rico.

  • Try Charleston, South Carolina and Savannah, Georgia. April_s a perfect time to go there. We lived in SC for a while and my wife just couldn_t get enough of Charleston. It_s beautiful and has rich cultural and historic sites. We have not been to Savannah, but I have heard it is the same way.

  • hey, i live in Noblesville, IN we love to take trips to the Smoky Mountains, TN.
By April and dogwoods are in bloom and the wild flowers are starting to bloom, and the frogs fill the air with their songs. It is a fun place to go race tracks and shopping in Pigeon Forge, and if you want to escape to nature, they have aw some trails in around Gattlinburg, not to mention all the shows and fine places to eat. You can go with a lot of money or a little money and have a great time.
  • Is this address located in a good area of the Denver Metro area?|160025

    Hello,

I_m interested in moving to the city of Denver and became interested in a particular apartment after doing some research online. I was wondering if someone could tell me if the North Main St. area of Brighton is considered to be a decent area of the Denver metro? I_m not looking for a exclusive area; just an area that would be viewed as average and safe.

I also had a question concerning whether or nor there was public transportation that services this area, and the distance and time of travel via public transportation between this location and downtown Denver?

    Thanks for your time!

  • North Main in Brighton is a nice area, and the RTD buses go there. Brighton is a northern semi-rural suburb of Denver. Not fancy but certainly safe. (and they have a great dog park!) Here is the link to the metro area bus company, RTD. Look on the schedules for an express bus to downtown.

  • Try, Lakewood, Colorado, I lived there for 5 years and it was no distance at all to Mile High Stadium, Pepsi Center and Coors. Denver has great public transportation. You_ll love it.

  • i_m not fond of brighton myself. for the public transportaion portion check this out

  • It_s not a bad area, I_m sure RTD has bus service there.
  • Does anyone know a reputable site to book rented holiday accommodation in Florida?|159334

Want to hear from people who have already booked a rented holiday villa or similar in or around the Orlando area. What are the best ones to go with and the pitfalls to look out for?

  • On a trip to Orlando a few years ago, we went through Hotels.com and ended up renting a three bedroom condo through a company called Magical Memories. It was a great way to enjoy Orlando, as we had a kitchen with pots _ pans and utensils, two bathrooms, the ability to do laundry, plus access to a pool and hot tub. There are other companies in the Orlando area that offer similar services, and there are larger and smaller places available for rent. If you don_t mind doing some of your own cooking to save a little money, it_s a great way to go.

  • A nice place to go to is Orange Lake Resort Orlando! I am their right know!! Some of the best rooms are at the Rivers edge area. The resort has four different area.
My family decided to go for a Fourth of July weekend!! I can_t wait for the party and fireworks!!
Oh, and they have 11 pools and massages, shops, waterslides, golf, a lazy river, and much more!! It is also a 4 star resort, I think!!! It is really nice though definetly a place to think about staying in!!! I_m not sure if their is room available though because even though the resort is really large it was all booked as of yesterday!!
    Good Luck!! :)

  • Check out _owners direct_ website. You won_t go wrong with this one

  • I always book through vrbo.com
  • How do I get from JFK Airport to Grand Central Station using the subway in New York?|183037

I_ve looked all over the internet and the New York subway system is way too confusing for me. Please help me! I leave to New York in five days!

  • Take the Air Train from JFK to Jamaica Center, where you can switch to the NYC subway_s E-Train.

Take the E-Train to Lexington Avenue / 53rd Street, where you can transfer for free to the downtown #6 train. Take that 1 stop to 42nd Street / Grand Central Terminal.

    Pretty easy.

Just a note.. If your luggage is cumbersome or you have a lot of pieces to carry, you should take a cab. You really don_t want to lug a lot of luggage through the subway.

    Have a good trip.

  • My friend, let me make it a little easier for you.

Step 1: take the Airtrain from the terminal to Jamaica Station. Make sure you listen for the announcement _Station D: Jamaica Station. The fare for the Airtrain is $5, which you pay when exit the Airtrain system at Jamaica Station.

Step 2: at Jamaica Station, transfer to the Long Island Railroad (LIRR). Take any eastbound train from Jamaica Station to Penn Station. The fare is $7.25 one way peak/$5.25 one way off peak. If you_re taking the LIRR on the weekends, the fare is $3.25 one way.

Step 3: at Penn Station, transfer to the New York City Subway. Take the uptown (northbound) #1, 2 or 3 subway lines (Red Line on the subway map) from Penn Station to Times Square.

Step 4: at Times Square, transfer upstairs to the 42nd Street Shuttle (Black Line). Take the Shuttle from Times Square to Grand Central.

Step 5: at Grand Central, exit the subway into the Grand Central Terminal.

The fare on the subway is $2 one, with free transfer between subway lines. Since you_re town for 5 days, may I recommend purchasing a 7-day unlimited ride MetroCard for $25, which will give unlimited ride on the New York City subway and bus system.

I hope this information is very helpful. If you have any questions or need travel directions while in town, just drop me a line by clicking on the avatar and e-mail icon in the profile. I_ll be glad to help.

    Good luck and happy travels.

  • take air tran from jfk to jamaica station. transfer to a penn station bound long island railroad train. in penn, get on the 1 subway train which is on the 7th avenue line. take the 1 uptown one stop to 42nd street. at 42nd street station you get on the Shuttle train (S) which goes directly to grand central. very easy. if you get confused, cops and other passengers are usually more than willing to help.

  • This is by far the easiest way to do this trip
You couldn_t mess this up if you had to
1]Take the AirTrain to Jamaica _by now you know all about it
    2) Take the LIRR to Woodside _it_s the NY train .About 12 minutes and $5.25 on any WB train leaving Jamaica after 9:45 AM weekdays
When you get your ticket for it at the LIRR ticket vending machine just add a $2.00 MetroCard to it
    3) Go upstairs and catch the # 7 train to Grand Central
The train will say Times Square on it
If you take the train with the _7_ in a diamond shape it_s an express train that makes 1 stop before it reaches grand Central and takes 14 minutes
If the _7_is in a circle then it_s a local train that makes 8 stops and 16 minutes

Direct Bus from JFK to Grand Central.
    Departures every 20-30 minutes.

(Not the subway, but no transfers either.)
$15 one way, $27 R/T (WAY cheaper than a cab)
