  • How crowded will Disneyworld be the first week of June?|182512

Its the first week the kids are out of school, and is it brutally hot there ?

  • I went in 07 the first week of June and it was extremely hot so it tired everyone out very quickly. The crowds were heavy and therefore made it even hotter. We enjoy going in September/October. Going in June just ruined the trip.

  • It won_t be brutally hot, but it will be warm... bordering on hot. And, although the schools are out, the very first week of June won_t be as crazy as July or August. But, it will be crowded.

Book your vacation as soon as you know your dates, and make sure if you are going in June that you ask about the promotion that lets you buy 4 nights in the hotels and get 3 nights free. It will save you a few (or more) dollars.

  • well i went june 3-9 in 2007 and it was indeed brutally hot. the average high temps for june is 90 and many days reach higher than that. and the night time low is only around 71. its VERY humid. and rains nearly every afternoon. the showers and storms pass quickly (usually 30-60 minutes) and occur mainly between 3-6pm.

it was also quite crowded when i went. many people were there cuz hollywood stuidos has _star wars weekends_ going on.
and its also quite busy with kids cuz families plan vacations for as soon as kids get out of school and many locals have annual passes and like to go during the summer break.

overall its not the worst time to go as far as weather and crowds but it certainly isn_t the best time either.

  • We went in the beginning of June _07 and it was VERY hot and humid, and crowded. I_m from Arizona and it was horrible. For the first day we were there we headed to the park early and were tired by 11 am. For the remainder of our week there we headed out a little later in the afternoon. We bought a few mister fans and they were a big help. We_re going in March this year.

  • I have found that on the days the park opens early for people. Go to a different park. We went in August. Way too hot. But we found that everyone goes to the park that opens early. Once we did that we had no lines. We even stayed on one ride twice because there wasnt anyone in line.

  • You_re looking at pretty big crowds. Schools in Florida end in mid-May and most locals buy season passes to WDW.

Hope you have a great time!
  • What is the temperature like in Orlando Floriday during the month of May.?|164189

My boyfriend and I are planning a 14 day trip to floriday during the end of may 2008 (I belive the dates are the 16th-the 30th)

We_re kind of wondering what kind of weather we should expect.

  • Upper 80_s and low 90_s. It_ll still be dry until June. Not as hot or humid (for me). You may find it really hot and humid, if your a out of state tourist but if your from the state, its not that bad. It gets muuuuuch worst later in the season.

  • Expect 80- 90 degrees. I have been in early May, and it was already pretty HOT and HUMID!

Make sure you wear sunscreen and stay hydrated by drinking lots of water!

    Have a blast!

  • Late may in Orlando? Expect it to be 80-90 with near 100% humidity. Will be very stuffy in the morning; then gets hotter as the day goes on.
  • What are some crazy things to do on vacations with friends?|118126

My friend lives in Orlando, Florida and im visiting her over spring break. We are making a to do list of crazy things to do like talk to a hobo and chase seagulls on the beach. Any ideas of stupid little things we could do to keep entertained?

  • Lol talk to hobos? u guys are too crazy for meee!!!

  • Um, the thing about Florida is that something crazy is likely to happen to you whether you want it to or not. Just remember that, if you happen to come across an old grenade or land mine, Florida law requires that you play hot potato with it for at least an hour before alerting the authorities.

    1. You could throw something (PLEASE NOT FOOD) at a gator and try to get it to snap at it.
    2. You could drive on I-4. That_s really crazy. If you want to be la-la insane, you could drive I-4 all the way from Tampa to Daytona. Very few roads will offer you three more dysfunctional cities in such a short drive as Tampa, Orlando and Daytona.
    3. You could... requisition... an orange from a grove alongside the highway.
    4. You could go to Aquatica and heckle my dad. (He_s retired and works there for fun and to pass time).

  • u should all go to disney world dressed funny and acting funny
