I heard you can take the train from Penn Station to Trenton and then transfer to the SEPTA, but are there any other destinations in Philly other than the rail station, for example the airport?

Take the NJ Transit line from NYC to Trenton, NJ. It_s about a one hour trip. Then, get onto the R7 line. That will pull you directly into 30th Street Station about 2 hours after you depart NYC. The regular Amtrak service is about $60-70 one way, and is only about 30 minutes faster. The NJT and R7 way is about $20-30.

Just take AMTRAK direct from NYC to 30th St. station in Philly. As for the Airport? The Septa R-1 train goes to the airport from 30th st.

You can take Amtrak but that is expensive. If you can...drive to Trenton or Hamilton, NJ. You can park your car there for 24 hours. The round trip to Penn Station is less than $25.00.

I_ve always driven to Trenton, but I_m sure you can get the PATCO at 8th and Market to NJ then transfer to NJTransit to NYC. NJTransit trains go right into Penn Station. Have fun!!
