In new york CITY (5 boroughs) you CANNOT drive with a learners permit, PERIOD unless the car has dual breaks (drivers ed cars). If you get caught your screwed. The only way to get practice is to go with a drivers ed instructor, or go to Long Island where driving with a permit with a licensed driver over 21 is permitted.

Keep in mind that the same applies to your license- you cannot drive till you get your class D license, which will happen either after you finish driver_s ed and you_re 17, or, you wait until you turn 18.

EXCEPT at an MTA Bridge or tunnel or roadway within a NYC Park.

The vehicle MUST have a dual brake and a dual mirror.

That will take you all the way to SFO. You will need to switch to the people mover tram at the airport to go to specific terminals. Total cost for one way fare is $7.35.

Have you made your flight reservations yet? If not, flying into Oakland would be better. From S.F airport take a cab or shuttle service to a BART station. Then take BART to an Oakland station where you can transfer to a Dublin BART train. Dublin is close to San Ramon.

At SFO, there is a tram that goes in circle and takes passengers to the SFO-Milbrae Bart station (In case you haven_t known, Bart is Bay Area Rapid Transist, a system of metro/subway). I_m guessing that your flight lands in SFO only and not OAK. I am not from California, but I have taken a shuttle to the city from the airport. You just have to ride the shuttle with other people who have to be dropped off their destination/hotel. It_s slightly time consuming, but it_s cheaper than taking a taxi specially when there_s a traffic on the way. I regret I could not tell you the name of a shuttle/limo company that services San Ramon from SFO airport. We are looking to move to the Brookside area. I know the KCMO school district has a poor reputation, but does that extend to Brookside elementary schools? I want my children to have a diverse learning experience, and I want to help improve the schools. However, if they are truly incompetent, I cannot sacrifice my child_s education.

No it is too hot and humid. Try Dec. They have a great Christmas show and the weather is wonderful. Here is some information on Disney at Christmas.

It will be hot, but fun! I am happy anytime I can go to Disney World :) As someone else stated, it is during the free dining promotion, which will increase the crowd levels a bit. Also, many US schools don_t start until after labor day, so that can increase crowd levels. For our last two trips to Disney World, we used a service called Custom Mouse Plans and they were great! They created plans that kept us out of the lines and we got to do all the big rides, usually more than once! We never waited more than 15 minutes for any ride even though we saw waits of 90+ minutes! You may want to check them out.

Yes! It is probably the best time to go! I always havego to Disney during the last 2 weeks of August (this year i_m going to universal though)
The weather isn_t bad, since you_re always moving, and the longest line i have ever had to wait in was about 45 minutes.
