Where can I find a place to exchange euros to dollars in portland oregon?|161642

I_m buying something for a friend in europe and WaMu won_t exchange euros to dollars, so where can I find somewhere in portland oregon to exchange them to dollars?

  • Keep them... they_ll be worth more in a few years. You make more money off the e-$ appreciation than the interest rate at the bank.

  • Here are two locations you might try. You can telephone for directions if you are driving (one location is at the Portland Airport:
Foreign Currency Exchange by Travelex Currency
    (503) 222-7483

900 Sw 6th Ave, Portland, OR

Foreign Currency Exchange by Travelex Currency
    (503) 281-3045

7000 Ne Airport Way, #2161, Portland, OR

  • I use Bank of America. I purchase Euros there before a trip and when I return, I deposit the left over Euros into my account at the current exchange rate.

  • Go to PDX airport. They have currency exchange booths in there for the international flights.

  • Use your credit card if you have one.
  • What is there to do for enjoyment in Holland, Michigan?|117043

I am planning on visiting Holland, Michigan in July 2009 for a day and I was wondering what is there to do and see while in Holland, Michigan? Also, what is the best hotel to spend the night at if I decided to spend the night at a hotel in the area. Finally, what are some good restaurants to eat at while in Holland?

  • The beaches are beautiful. I recommend the state park or Kirk park. I think tunnel park sucks. Grand Haven is the best beach but it is a bit of a drive and the town is a zoo.
There is a really nice winery in Fennville that has wonderful tours and good wine. Also in Fennville is a quaint restaurant at Cranes orchard. It features deserts. Most of the restaurants in Holland suck. For a great steak go to Tony_s in Muskegon.

  • there has little nightlife to do, but there has a nice beach if you like.

i would choose to stay in Grand Rapids, (35-45mins drive from Holland). there is more night life, and party happening.

near the beach, there has some restaurant and in summer, the shops are even nicer. very cool.

  • They have the Tulip Festival in June. Other then that you can also swim in Lake Michigan.

  • i love Michigan its the best!

  • i been there and theres the tulip festival and theres the place where they have wooden shoes

  • I need help here please my daughter is moving from a crack ridden neighborhood?|116938

in seattle from west seattle to a nicer place as it_s gotten so bad and the schools are the worse here in king county. Can you give some suggestions where her and her 12 yr old son may find a safe and peaceful neighborhood to live.She_s a single parent and she is doing what she can to have a good life and a safe place to raise him. Thanks much.

  • To be able to move to a better neighborhood should give her a great deal of stability.... Just remember that she may need you to tell her that she made the correct decision....

  • Move where the schools are good and where there_s a lot of other families.
