How much money should I take to Vegas?|159258

Staying at the Bellagio and I have no idea how much money I will need to take with me. I_m not really much of a gambler and I looked at the prices for _O_ and nearly fainted. I am going with four other people (siblings/cousins) and I want to treat them to something nice - but not so extravagant that I_ll put myself in the poor house. Any recommendations?

  • Take as much as you_re comfortable with, but you_ll proabably need at least a few hundred. If you need to take money out of a machine, do so downtown rather than on the Strip (e.g. $30 withdrawal fee at the Mirage).

  • bring your debit card, ATM card - don_t take hard cash, withdraw money from the atm as you need them. they are all over the place.

  • No more than 300-400 dollars and just be smart because Vegas is made off of losers not winners.

  • I suggest one days pay for every day you stay there.

  • Take as much money as you feel comfortable never seeing again

  • some of the adult/Risque shows offer 2 for 1 coupons, shows in Ballys (jubilee) rio and harrahs (forget the names) the dancers walk around in the day passing out the coupons.. Also, try taking a taxi they have tons of coupons and passes to clubs and shows just give them a good tip

    have fun
  • Where can I find a list of adresses of all major hotels and entertainment/attractions in downtown los angeles?|143693

  • You can_t.

That_s because the major hotels and attractions are NOT in downtown. They are ALL OVER the SoCal area. Disneyland is in Anaheim, in Orange County. Universal Studios is in Unversal City, 12 miles north of downtown. Santa Monica, the closest beach, it 24 miles east of downtown.

If you google _Los Angeles Attractions_, you can usually get a map and sometimes addresses. And there are hundreds of hotels, so that list would be difficult to compile.

I am looking for a hotel on the beach, preferably on the Gulf, that has many activities available, has a pool bar and a restaurant on the grounds and that is well maintained. Anyone have any good suggestions?

  • How much is the annual pass for Disney World and Universal?|125067

I_m about to move to Orlando in 5 months, and would like to purchase an annual pass so I can come whenever I want to. How much are the prices and are they worth it?

  • There are different levels of the Florida resident annual pass; here are the types (it lists what they each include) and the prices:

    http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/passhol

There are also different levels of the Florida resident annual pass for Universal parks; here are the types (click each one for full details) and the prices:

    http://www.universalorlando.com/Tickets/

As far as if they_re worth it, you really need to think realistically about how many times you are going to go in a year. For Disney World, one-day tickets for Florida residents are $71.10; the standard annual pass is $369.00; therefore you would have to visit at least six times using the annual pass to beat the price of paying gate price for the same amount of visits. For Universal, one-day/one-park tickets for Florida residents are $54.99 (that is the online price by the way); the standard annual pass (called the Power Pass) is $139.99; therefore you would have to visit at least three times using the annual pass to beat the online price for the same amount of visits. So if you_re sure you will visit Disney World six or more times in a year, and Universal parks three or more times in a year, then the annual passes would definitely be worth it. It_s also worth mentioning that there are other money-saving perks to having annual passes, such as free parking and various discounts (the perks vary depending on the type of pass you get).
