What are some fun things to do in west palm beach ? How is the night life there ?|118966

Its just me and my best friend so we are looking for lots of entertainment during the day and the night. We are there for 5 days and 4 nights. We like to party but also relax too.

Clematis Street has great nightlife. City Place is also fun. You can take a train or drive to Miami for a night if you are into that scene.

During the day, depending on your interests, there are great beaches in Palm Beach, Juno Beach, and Delray Beach. Delray has a nice little downtown. Palm Beach has great shopping, as does Palm Beach Gardens (Gardens Mall, Downtown at the Gardens, and PGA Commons). Golf and boating are big in West Palm Beach. You can take a day cruise out to the Bahamas (only an hour or so away by boat). In the summer, most people hang out at the beaches and relax. It rains almost every day in the mid to late afternoon during the summer, so plan on outdoor stuff in the mornings and indoor stuff in the afternoons. Enjoy.

I_m looking for a place (preferably on the north side of Chicago or downtown) that has free wifi and is open 24 hours a day. A specific place would be appreciated. Any public place like a coffee shop, a diner, or something of that nature would be perfect.

This includes airfare from California (to be specific), hotel, food, etc. And if you could, recommend how much you think I should put away for all the costs.

Totally depends on what your are planning on doing during your week in Florida. If you are just going to hang out at a beach every day - it will be less than if you are planning to hit a theme park every day.

Expect to pay $300 - 500 for airfare.
Rent a condo for a week $500 - 2000
There are some online packages for airfare and hotel from $700 for 8 days - but a lot will depend on WHEN you are going.
Food - depends on your style
Car Rental - at least $25.00 a day.
If you are staying in one spot your lodging will be cheaper than if you drive around the state. If you stay in Key West - you will pay $200 a night - Tampa you can find decent places for $75.

Depends where you plan on staying in Florida. Most *cheap* (motel 6) hotels run about 60 dollars a night. Flights for me to Florida are around $300 (PA - FL). Food is probably similar to what you pay now. Also depends on where you want to go. I would research finding flight deals you could probably find some discount airfare and hotels that give discounts for week long stays. I would probably start with 800 dollars and move up from there in case there are things you want to do or buy while there.

Well I mean to varries. You could fly in a hot air balloon and it would cost about 20$. Or you could take an f-14 for about 25,000$. Why not look at American Airlines for prices and dates? There_s not 1 exact answer, lol. Also look at hotesl/resorts where you_re wanting to go. You could stay in a box for about 5$, or a nice resort for about $800 for the week. Just do a little research first ;p

Orlando is really great, I know Disney World is the main attraction, but visit the beaches, they are beautiful.

Orlando is inland and doesn_t have beaches.

There is a beach less than an hour away called Cocoa Beach.

I am planning a trip to America for three weeks at the end of August and start of September and need some ideas for what I can do. I am flexible with where I go and have never been to the states before so need some ideas!

The possibilities are endless.

New York City
Walt Disney World
Las Vegas

Then look at a decent map of of the US which shows you the mountains, the shoreline and the cities. Now focus on an area - you cannot cover and see all of the US in three weeks. Enter the area and places of your choice in a search engine like Google. After some searching, you_ll find the answer to your question.
