What hotel is extremely close to Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel?|152130

Does anyone know any hotels? PLEASE and thank you(:

  • All Disney Resorts do not shuttle you to all other Disney resorts. I made this mistake once, staying at the Boardwalk. There are only shuttles from the resorts to the parks and to Downtown Disney. You would have to take a shuttle from the resort to a park, and then transfer to another bus. It could take possibly well up to an hour, if not more, to do this. If you don_t have the time, taking a cab usually costs no more than $15 and is direct.

That being said, I think you are right in trying to find a place near where you need to be. Here is a list of all the places nearby, some are Disney and some are not:

-Beach _ Yacht Club (Will be just as expensive as Swan _ Dolphin, probably more)
-Boardwalk Inn (Same price as Beach _ Yacht)
    -Disney_s Caribbean Beach
    -Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort
    -Hilton Orlando Bonnect Creek Resort
    -Disney_s Coronado Springs Resort
    -Disney_s All Star Movies Resort
    -Disney_s Coronado Springs

Try going to this site, and putting in the address of The Swan _ Dolphin. It will give you a list of all hotels nearby.

    Swan _ Dolphin Address:
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin
    1500 Epcot Resorts Boulevard
    P.O. Box 22653
    Lake Buena Vista, FL 32830
    USA

  • The Swan and Dolphin are in the Epcot resort area witch means and they are all around a lake, and are put up close together.

hears a list of the hotels that are extremily close together

    The Boardwalk
    The Beach Club
    The Yacht Club
and is situated between Epcot and the Hollywood studios (they way it_s laid out though don_t look for those places the entrances are far away do to the parking lots)

there are allot more hotels close in that area but these are on the same street it_s boom boom boom, and if you are worried you can go enter one of the hotels go to the back and just walk to the Swan Dolphin.
look for the Epcot resort area

if you want extra info on it
the whole are in the back is this big boardwalk themed like the Conney island boardwalk that type place.

fun fact the Swan and dolphin on top where mixed up during construction.

you can also find a Fantasia gardens, its a mini golf course by the hotel.

  • Disneys all star resort and pop music. They are lower priced, but close. Also Disney Carri bean Beach resort is close. All the hotels on Disney Property will shuttle you for free to one another.

  • The Beach Club, the Yacht Club and the Boardwalk resorts are all a short walk from the Swan and Dolphin hotels as they are all considered Epcot resorts.

  • The Boardwalk and The Beach Resort!

  • oh crap.....
if you go to the nick resort its in the middle of all the parks
including: universal, disney, sea world, and the McDonald_s there
  • Where is Disney World can you find characters in dress up clothes?|148868

Where at in Disney World can you find characters outside their normal outfits? Such as how at Chef Mickey_s at the Contemporary, Mickey is dress as a chef, not his usual clothes. Do you know any places at any of the parks or hotels where I can find them dressed differently, and what they are wearing?

  • It depends on what time of year you are going.

If you go at halloween to Mickeys not-so-scary Halloween party, which is a separate ticketed event you can see characters in halloween costumes, mickey as a vampire, minnie as a witch, donald as a knight and daisy as a princess, others like peter pan and alice in wonderland often have masquerade type masks. Winnie the pooh is a bumblebee, Piglet a flower, Eeyore a mummy and Tigger a skeleton.

If you go at christmas to Mickeys very merry christmas party which is also a separate ticketed event you can see Goofy as santa at the dance party in cosmic rays sStarlightcafe, and you can also see pluto as a reindeer. Mickey and Minnie are wearing victorian style costumes, as are Donald and Daisy. Some other characters just wear scarves, like when I met Peter Pan and Wendy in Adventureland near Pirates of the Caribbean.

    Hope this helps!

  • Mickey Mouse does have a lot of different outfits, doesn_t he? Well I know all the different places to where hes in different clothing. Then you can take many pictures of him in different versions! :) Okay here_s the information:

~At Magic Kingdom he wears his usual clothing; a black composer suit with a red outfit underneath.

~At Disney_s Animal Kingdom he always/only wears a safari outfit. (So do the rest of the characters)

~In some parts of Hollywood Studios he is dressed in his usual clothing (from Magic Kingdom) and in other parts of the park he is dressed in his sorcerer outfit from Fantasia; which is a red robe and a blue sorcerer hat with gold moons and stars (the giant hat in the middle of the park is an exact replica of the hat Mickey wears in his Fantasia outfit).

~At Epcot he wears his usual clothing from Magic Kingdom and he also wears a japanese outfit from Japan at the World Showcase. (it_s very rare to see him in this clothing and can only be found in Japan)

~At Blizzard Beach/Typhoon Lagoon he wears a swimsuit and sunglasses for taking pictures with guests because there aren_t many characters at the water parks.

~And at some hotels he is dressed up as Chef Mickey in a chef outfit.

  • You can definitely find characters outside of their normal outfits at many Disney Resorts that offer character breakfasts such as the Beach Club, the Polynesian Resort, and the Contemporary Resort (that I can think of right now). At the Beach Club, the characters were wearing bathing suits/beach outfits; at the Polynesian, they were wearing grass skirts (even Chip and Dale!); and you know about the Contemporary ;)

You can see Mickey in his sorcerer outfit, Steamboat Willie outfit, his tux (regular outfit), and an outfit he wore in Fun and Fancy Free (like Jack _ the Beanstalk) in the show Fantasmic! This is a must-see!

Also, the characters wear different outfits in the parades at every park!

  • Hollywood studios he appears at Sorcerer mickey in Fantasmic and other Mickey costume types but you cant get up close its just for the show.

  • All of them are dressed differently if you visit the Animal Kingdom...as I recall, they are wearing safari outfits.
  • What are the beaches at on Jekyll Island?|132625

We went to Amelia last year but it was a bit pricey. We love Emerald Isle NC because it_s very quiet. We spend most of our time in the water or playing tennis but I_ve heard some bad things about jelly fish and brown water.

  • If you want crystal clear waters, JI will disappoint. The waters are murky. However, this is mainly due to silth and minerals entering the GA Coast from nearby beautiful marshes, not raw sewage.

It_s true that jellyfish can be numerous at times but this mostly an issue around the deeper waters of the JI pier and the island_s north end. The beachy areas are not infested. Beach authorities keep close watch on Jellyfish activities and wouldn_t hesitate to post warning flags when medium to high risk is posed. I guess there_s always the risk of running into a jellyfish when a human enters the Atlantic Ocean.

However, if you want wide beaches, JI is for you. If you want uncrowded beaches, JI is for you. If you want warm waters, JI is for you. If you want to walk 1/4 mile into the water and still only be chest deep, JI is for you. If you want non-touristy beaches, JI is for you. If you want nearly unspoiled costal beauty, JI is definitely for you. If you want an unassuming atmosphere, JI is for you. If you need to totally relax, JI is for you. If you want to enjoy one of GA_s best kept secrets, head straight for JI.
  • What were the three routes to California during the Gold Rush?|133023

Please name at least two pros and cons of each route.

  • nobody asked for a history lesson jiby

donner pass, probably the most famous

  • The California Gold Rush (1848C1855) began on January 24, 1848, when gold was discovered at Sutter_s Mill. As news of the discovery spread, some 300,000 people came to California from the rest of the United States and abroad.

These early gold-seekers, called _forty-niners,_ traveled to California by sailing ship and in covered wagons across the continent, often facing substantial hardships on the trip. While most of the newly-arrived were Americans, the Gold Rush also attracted tens of thousands from Latin America, Europe, Australia and Asia. At first, the prospectors retrieved the gold from streams and riverbeds using simple techniques, such as panning, and later developed more sophisticated methods of gold recovery that were adopted around the world. Gold worth billions of today_s dollars was recovered, leading to great wealth for a few; many, however, returned home with little more than they started with.

The effects of the Gold Rush were substantial. San Francisco grew from a tiny hamlet of tents to a boomtown, and roads, churches, schools and other towns were built. A system of laws and a government were created, leading to the admission of California as a state in 1850. New methods of transportation developed as steamships came into regular service and railroads were built. The business of agriculture, California_s next major growth field, was started on a wide scale throughout the state. However, the Gold Rush also had negative effects: Native Americans were attacked and pushed off traditional lands, and gold mining caused environmental harm
  • How much money would someone typically need to get set up in New York?|166735

If you wanted to move to New York City how much money would you typically need to have to get a decent enough place and get set up there? In what areas could you find cheaper but decent apartments or homes in safe neighborhoods?

  • Lots and lots. We here in the city are not all rich as I_m sure you know but it does cost more than what you may be expecting. I_m not sure what you mean by decent so I_ll assume you_re by yourself and would what a one bedroom apartment in a safe area. If that_s the case then Astoria in Queens is a good place to start. Typical apartments out there go for 1000-1500 a month. If you have a car then gas is about 4 a gallon. Since you_ll be in city you would have a hard time driving and getting parking space so you will most likely ride the subways. A metrocard (your ticket to ride so to speak) will cost you 2 dollars one way. It_s better to have an unlimited which costs 81 for a monthly, 45 for two weeks and 25 for a weekly. Utilities vary by building but you will most likely have a cable bill which can go for around 100, electricity bill which is different by building but will be anywhere from 60 to 200 in some places; a phone bill which can be like 40 to 50 and then your luxury bills like cell phones and internet. Then you have you groceries but that depends on you and then what ever else you_ll need to live your life like your toiletries and then your entertainment needs. In other words it_s a lot so start saving and good luck.
