How much is a regular season Chicago Cubs ticket?|177360

I need it for a report but can_t find prices on ticketmaster or the cubs web site. So, can someone please give me a range of how much they were last season? Prices for both good seats and not so good seats would be appreciated. Thanks.

  • Hi-
I am not finding the average for last year- but here is an announcement regarding 2007 prices- and a link about the increases that were expected for 2006. Hope that helps at all....

The Chicago Cubs today announced their 32-game spring training schedule for the 2007 Cactus League season. The Cubs_ exhibition campaign - which begins Thursday, March 1, against the San Francisco Giants - will conclude with a pair of contests against the Seattle Mariners in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 30-31. All games are scheduled to begin at 1:05 p.m. Arizona time unless otherwise noted.
Information on ticket prices and on-sale dates for the Cubs 2007 spring campaign will be announced in the near future.

  • Tickets are priced based on the desirability of the game. Saturday games in June, for example, are more expensive than Tuesday games in April.

Very good seats on the best days were $54 last season. You could spend more on some of the new box seats in the first 3 rows but that pricing is an aberration.

  • Well, here is a story about the ticket price increase from 2004 to 2005, if that_s any indication. not sure how much they are now.

BTW, the 2005 World Series Champion Chicago White Sox aren_t AFRAID to post their ticket prices. (

  • Cheapest and Safest ways to get from Newark to NYC?|168765

We_re planning a vacation and I_ll have three women with me and we_ve decided to stay in NJ and venture in to NYC for our day and early evening excursions.
I believe we_ll be very close to the Newark airport as far as where we_re staying and I_m wondering if someone can give me some ideas of how we can get to NYC, rates, etc?

    Thanks!

  • You can take the NJ Transit train from Newark Airport to New York. It_ll cost you as follows-

    Adult One Way $15.00
    Child/Senior/Disabled One Way $11.25*

    * The Newark Airport Rail Station access fee will no longer be charged for child fares (age 11 and under).

However, if you are closer to Newark Penn Station, you can take the Path train into New York City for $1.75 each way

Newark Penn Station and the station at Newark Airport are both very safe. Just use common sense and don_t wait for the train on an empty track at night. :) Good luck!

  • Newark Airport to New York via rail.
