I want to surprise my boyfriend with a private tour of the meyerson that includes him being able to play for a short period on the concert grand piano. Anyone know someone who knows someone that might know a way to swing it. I already tried emailing and leaving messages, no response.

  • What are some famous places to visit in New York City?|179370

I have been to New York City countless times, and I know all the obvious places like Times Square, Wall Street, Central Park, Rockefeller Center, the Empire State Building and places like those. However, I am looking to visit locations where celebrities during the 1940s or 1950s might have visited or filmed at. It would be nice to observe a little more than what is on the surface of New York City. I want to dig a little deeper. By the way, is the Copacabana Nightclub still standing or has that come down?

  • I_m going to NYC soon and am going to visit The Cotton Club. My grandmother told me about it. Sounds like something you may enjoy too.

  • Can anyone tell em the best places to go for vocal lessons and belly dancing in chicago?|177279

please list the best and top one that are well known and also produce the best of works thanks.

  • Check out the Old Town School of Folk Music...I doubt they have belly dancing, but I_m sure they have some type of vocal training.
    http://www.oldtownschool.org/
I_m sure they can at least point you in the right direction.

Other than that, I would suggest Googling _Belly Dancing School, Chicago_ and then look up the results at

  • How long does it take to walk from LA to Riverside?|160555

I_m writing a book, and I need to know the answer to the question above. Please help ASAP!

  • Depending on your starting point, i believe it is a Total Estimated Distance is 59 miles. Considering the walking pace and speed of the average human to be 3 to 4 miles per hour,(this number is sooo avg. because you must consider a persons size, weight, stride etc.) It will take you 19.7 to 14.5 hours depending on the criteria listed. Off the top of my head give yourself a couple of days for walking and rest. hope i could help

  • Where in LA is the starting point?
Where in Riverside is the destination?

You can find out by using Google Maps.

  • According to yahoo mat downtown LA to down town Riverside is 56 miles. At 2.0 miles/hr that would be 28 hours.
  • What moving company should I use if I move from Portland, Oregon to Chicago?|157293

I want them to move all my stuff for me too and do all the packaging. I don_t have much stuff to move - only a small apartment.

  • Use either Bekins Moving Co. (phone: 866-761-6402) or Allied Moving (phone 877-224-0351) DO NOT use Graebel Movers - they moved me from Portland, OR to Dallas, TX and did over $10,000 worth of damage to my furniture and piano.

  • I myself like U-Haul, but they don_t move your stuff: only sell boxes and rent moving vans. Allied and Penske will do it, though. I_d say one of those three.

  • North America Moving Systems an excellent company go yto

    http://www.northamericamovingsystems.com

  • I had a neighbor use United Van Lines. And she told me that
they did it all. They were going to wrap and pack her dishes
and all of the nitty gritty stuff as well. So all she had to take
herself, was her jewelry and whatever else she didn_t want out
of her sight to take in the car. She said she_d used them be-_
fore and was happy with the care they gave her things and
that she had no worries. But she paid for the extra care with
the packing of everything. But not having that extra stress is
probably well worth the extra cost.
I have seen these vans as well as Allied Van Lines over
the years. But more of United trucks on the freeways.

  • Call several moving companies and get estimates. Ask for FREE estimates. They can tell you if they have a load going that way already ... they can include yours in the same truck ... save you some money.
  • How much should I trip a limo driver?|120344

I_m having a limo company take me to the airport from my home in one of their black sedan limos. How much should I tip them if I paid $79 total for the transport to the airport 30miles away from my home at 5:30am on a Saturday morning? I will also be the only one being picked up and will have only have 1 luggage. I live in Santa Clara, California and am going to Oakland Airport. Thanks.

  • As a former _Limo Jockey_...

$20- $30 bucks would be a _handsome_ (from the handsome cab days of old) tip.

    Try to remember this:

You are bailing at 5:30 am on Saturday, which means he is up way earlier to be in position to pick you up. 30 miles takes him out of service range for any additional work.

You want to be remembered for future business trips, and a way to get remembered and treated with the utmost Customer Service is a gracious gratuity.

Of course if the driver turns out to be a bum, well he gets what he gets.

A professional driver should have a morning paper or two on the back seat for your arrival, and perhaps even a hot beverage.

I used to do many early am airport deliveries and always made sure my clients had a morning paper such as the Wall Street Journal (if I knew the clients destination, a local paper from that area); and of course a hot coffee or tea depending on the clients needs (here is where repeat business is crucial to the driver, and company bottom line).

I always made it a point to take note of my guests preferences such as coffee or tea (one guest preferred a cold soda), as well as basic routines. Was this person on the phone doing preparatory work before traveling? This means they are not paying attention to me or where we are going (do I have all the information I need to deliver my guest).

The list of Exceptional Customer Service tasks in this industry is monumental; but certainly attainable. Measure and balance your gratuity to what other services the company provided and go from there.

  • trip? use ur foot ...hahah

  • Only once, you don_t want to hurt him too much.

  • ew nothing
hes friggen taking you in a SEDAN!
    ughh they are hidious
fire him and either get a humer limo
or i went in a mercedes one once
